+ Hold Hands, cuddIe
*This Pokemon is always female*
Justification: Groudon's girlfriend. Rain setter for Lemon Fish and could stop-check to Fridgile Veil squads. Otherwise does regular Kyogre things.

Move: Citrus Rend
Type: Lemon
Power: 75
PP: 15 (24)
Acc: 100
Flags: Contact
Effect: Has 1.6x power if user goes first.
Distribution: Lemotic, Lemon Fish, Arctovish with a top hat
Justification: Lemon move for underused users (and Arctovish).

Adjustment
Pokemon: Kurayami
Stats: 95/100/95/110/95/95
Movepool Additions: 5 Big Dooms, Alluring Voice, Balatro Blast, Blazeball, EVIL SCARY U-turn, Fiery Wrath, Ice Beam, Moonblast, Recover, Trump Card
Justification: Bit of a face lift. More move options in the pool, notably Fairy coverage to not be set-up fodder for Anarlvet, and STAB pivoting. Trump Card and Balatro Blast are there mainly so that it can be an option on Trump Card teams (SR setter, bulky pivot)

Adjustment
Move: Lemon Bash
Type: Lemon
Power: 85
PP: 15 (24)
Acc: 100
Flags: Contact
Effect: 20% chance to lower opponent's Def by 1.
Distribution: Current + Pokestar Giant
Justification: Minor physical Lemon buff. Was kind of underwhelming at inception in hindsight.

Ability
Name: DILF (Damn, I love fishing)
Effect: Gives a fishing token at the end of each turn
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Pokémon With This Ability: Wyrdeer (replacing MILF), Impalpitoad (replacing MILF), Abomasnow (4th ability)
Justification: The old version of MILF isn't inherently bad, but the distribution got to be a bit too widespread.

Anvil
Name: Decoy Anvil
Type: Silly
Category: Special
BP: 110
Acc: 100
PP: 10
Effect: Lowers user's SpAtk by 1 stage.
Distribution: Fudgesaur, Raccoon, Smelmetal, Indeedee, Pokestar-Giant, Impromancer
Description: Summons a decoy anvil above the target. While the target is distracted, the user hits them with the Thousand Energy Beam.
Justification: Was thinking about including more special Silly moves, and the decoy snail. Didn't want to buff already good mons like Gholdengo and Iron Clown, so opted to give it to more overlooked special attackers and some flavour for other mons.

Name: gayveyard -> graveyard (name and flavor text (the gender fluid part) is reverted to pre-JoltSmash)
Description: Dumb name change. Not funny.

Repeal: minun and plusle :D
Description: Get rid of these bozos

Name: Space Jam DVD
Effect: Extends the duration of Gravity, Magic Room, & Wonder Room by 3 turns. Upon setting any of these three effects, the text "(pokemon name) is ballin!" appears.
Fling: 20; sets Gravity for 5 turns
Description: Applwirm buffs.

Name: Sckckckckckeptic -> Skeptic
Type: Dumb name change. Not funny.

Name: Anvil Drop
Type: Steel
Category: Physical
BP: 80
Acc: 100%
PP: 8
Effect: Hits in 2 turns. Sets Stealth Rocks.
Flags: Metronome, Futuremove
Distribution: Applwirm, Archeops, Celesteela, Collachet, cowboy_bandido, Donmigo, Dracolition, Drigike, Electrode, Fudgesaur, Goomba, Houndoom, Iron Boulder, mario, Mario Kart Wii, Melmetal, Nihilego, palpitoad is so cool, Pokestar MT, Richard Petty, Runerigus, Sentret, Togedemaru, Whonhef, Zacian-Crowned
Description: More typical future sight move, but weaker and sets Stealth Rock. You don't get the benefit of Stealth Rock immediately, but you have more time to play around them removing it.

Sub #1:
Metagame Change:
Weight Clause -
All new Pokemon subs must include the Pokemon's weight if they are a fully custom Pokemon. If they are not given a weight, the Supreme Leader must veto them with a suggested weight, or deny them outright. If a new Pokemon is subbed without a weight, and it is either a canon Pokemon or based on a canon Pokemon, the submitter forfeits their right to decide one later, and it is automatically given the canon Pokemon's weight by default if the sub is accepted.
Additionally, all existing Pokemon currently missing a weight will be given one upon acceptance of this legislation. Canon Pokemon and subs that are based on canon Pokemon will be given the canon Pokemon's weight. All fully custom Pokemon will be given whatever weight the Supreme Leader decides (this can be entirely arbitrary if they wish).
If any current or future Supreme Leader does not wish to bother suggesting or deciding a weight, they can opt to force the user Seito Chinchou to make the decision for them instead.
Justification: With Pokemon weight becoming a more common relevant factor (buffs to weight-based moves, Just A Little Guy, etc.), Pokemon need to actually have a weight. Instead of just whatever 'blank' defaults to. Going through the spreadsheet while making the wiki's Pokedex made it apparent just how many Pokemon don't have them. People have been getting lazy with other stuff too (pokemon flags, universal moves, etc.) but this one seemed like the simplest one to enforce, and with minimal stepped-on toes (since people who don't bother to put it down probably don't care what it ends up being anyway).

Sub #2:
Metagame Change:
Union Council -
No new slate will begin until the entire leaders union decides that we need a balance patch. 60% or more members of the union must agree to start a new slate. Abstaining members do not count in the total, and do not effect the vote in any way. If 75% of the union's voting members agree that an emergency balance patch is needed to fix a single egregiously broken mon, and can agree upon how to fix the mon, they can pass a fix outside of a slate. This process must occur for each individual fix, encouraging slates instead of attempting to rely solely on balance patches to fix things. Finally, Ultimate Overlord Jumpheart may override the union's decision to start a slate, override their lack of decision to start a slate, and override any hotfixes they push should the circumstances require it.
Justification: The primary issue with the current content bloat is not that we have a lot of elements in the mod, but rather, that these elements are coming far too quickly to contextualize in the meta, and too quickly for proper resources to form around digesting these elements. Rather than cutting whole swaths of our meta out for the sake of 'reducing bloat', I agree with Catra's proposal to instead greatly slow down the release of new changes. Not only will this reduce the speed at which the meta expands (further compounding onto the One Pokemon clause Jumpheart added, which was an excellent method to combat this issue the RIGHT way, just not enough by itself), but it will also ensure that every time we DO have a new slate, we will only have that slate because we genuinely need balance changes and adjustments, and some new additions. Furthermore, because we have much more time with each slate to build, test, the community (and hopefully the dictator) will also have a much better idea of what the meta actually needs, and what the meta very much doesn't need, allowing them to make (and approve) much higher quality subs than before. And, with the added time to create properly fleshed out (and more accurate) resources, what we already have becomes much more easily interpretable for new and existing members of the mod, as well as outside players in the context of potential PMPL inclusions.

Sub #3:
Name:
Fishield
Power: -
Accuracy: -
PP: 10 (max 16)
Category: Status
Type: Water
Effect: Protect clone. If hit by an attack, gain 1 Fishing Token.
Priority: +4
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): No Assist, Fail Copycat, Fail Instruct, Fishing Move
Pokémon With This Move: Universal among Fish. Togedemaru, Tangette, Komala, Fish Factory, Ninjask, Goddease, Wyrdeer, Impalpitoad, Lemotic, Rayquaza, Abomasnow, Goomba, McFish, Fish Marketing, Pyroaring, Runerigus, Zelda, Richard Petty, Ronald Reagan, Hitmontop
Justification: Small little Fishing Token synergy. Protect option that helps generate added value in a manner that's smaller than usual Protect clones but more reliable due to not needing contact. Works well with either Fishing Token teams, the new Aqua Ring changes, or both.

Sub #4 (Adjustment Slot):
Adjustment: Daiyafia
Name:
Daiyafia Daiyakuza
Justification: Better pun. Approved by the original submitter, UberTrainer

Sub #5 (Adjustment Slot):
Adjustment: Aqua Ring
Effect:
Aqua Ring now becomes an ally field effect. All effects and interactions are the same as old Aqua Ring, with these changes:
- As a field effect, it now passes to other allies upon switching.
- Consumes 1 Fishing Token to use, and fails if there are none. Lasts for 4 turns. When Aqua Ring is about to expire, if there is at least 1 Fishing Token on the field, consumes 1 Fishing Token and extends duration for another 4 turns.
- Susceptible to Court Change. Cleared by Defog from the enemy side. Immune to Rapid Spin.
Flags: Fishing Move
Additional Distribution: Universal amongst Fish. Celesteela, Wyrdeer, Fridgile, Silvally, Hitmontop, Guiltrism, Metapod, Basculin-Blue-Striped, Lemon, Ronald Reagan, Zestii, Indeedee, Cinderace, Raccoon, Hydralemon, Sigma Rice Lion, Archeops, Pyroaring, Hiveweb
Justification: Further support and buffs to Fishing Tokens to make them more worthwhile, while also being splashable enough to be viably used on regular teams as well. Only having to set it up once, assuming you are capable of generating at least one Fishing Token every four turns, greatly relieves the constraints on manual setting, and gives a bunch of Water types some great added utility in helping to keep their team healthy. A bonus leftovers helps mitigate chip from the opposing team, while not being strong enough to halt progress from wallbreakers and sweepers. It's a reliable move, but it's also not uncompetitive free healing, as the enemy can interrupt it both with commonly run moves like Defog, as well as Fishing Token hate if the archetype becomes reliable enough to justify running those. These two different types of interaction help keep it in check, while also being a relatively low stakes, but free form of passive chip mitigation and utility.

Sub #6 (Anvil Slot):
Metagame Change:
Lawyer Anvil, Judiciary Protector of Copyright Clauses -
All Anvils submitted must have a unique name distinguishable from all previously accepted Anvils. If multiple Anvils are subbed in the same slate with the same name, the Dictator may choose which submission gets to keep the name, and then veto the other Anvils with alternative names. Unique Anvil names may be as simple as Anvil #1, Anvil #2, etc.
Justification: Helps keep Anvils distinct.

Ability: Still Water (When the user consumes a Madness Counter, instead of raising its highest stat, add 3 Fishing Tokens to the user's field.)

75 BP, 10/16 PP, 100 Acc | +1 critical hit rate per Fishing Token on the user's side (at 3 tokens, always crits).
Weight: 107.3 kg
Miscellaneous: Diamond Hand member, Male only
Description: Bulky offensive pivot meant as a bridge between fishing token & diamond hand archetypes, converting madness counters to tokens to power its sig move or enable teammates. Also trying my hand at triple types
Flavor: Upvybones has returned to Iron Fistlandia, and has prepared to do a little trolling as vengance for his rejection in Slate 1. Those who know:

New Item: Eat-me Cookie
Effect: When the holder becomes Big, this item is consumed and the holder restores up to 1/4 max HP.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 90BP, forces target to become Big
Justification: Becoming Big currently only has the effect of altering move power, whether that be powering up your own or making your opponent's weaker. This item gives a new, more versatile use for pressing the Big Button, essentially being an on-command heal, which is why the healing isn't a large amount, only as much as a sitrus berry. You can also troll ppl by flinging it to make their mons big

Metagame Change: Repeal Anvil Clause
Justification: If anvil has no haters then i'm dead
This was originally submitted as a bit but with the current discussions on meta balance, there is a geniune argument to be made for removing anvil clause to reduce the clutter and confusion from having like twenty different anvil mechanics in the mod. Any anvil subs accepted this slate will still pass if this legislation passes as well.

Adjustments

Raccoon
  • Stats: 75 | 100 | 70 | 63 | 75 | 102 -> 75 | 106 | 75 | 65 | 85 | 116 [BST= 522]
  • Movepool: +Fire Fang, Fish Burn, Clash, Knock Off, Wild Hunt
Justification: Outside of the niche of STAB on deez nuts fling this mon sucks ass. First issue is the mediocre statline: I moderately bumped its stats, most notably having a much better speed tier which allows it to naturally outspeed mons such as mega moltres, rawring moon, apple's newest emoji, and furumo (still has to worry about atespeeds on the last one tho). Move additions are mainly to help hit steels, most notably smelmetal, and also bc I originally did not give Raccoon knock for whatever reason. May be an actually viable choice now as a fast pivot with high coverage and juicy quad resists to dark & ghost moves.

Bon Appetit
  • At the start of each turn, the user consumes a Fishing Token to restore 1/10 -> 1/8 max HP.
Justification: Always bothered me that this ability recovered a non-vanilla increment of HP, it also happens to be mid so really I'm killing two birds with one stone here

Hoenn Lover:
Clone of Hoenn Stan before nerf, but boosts speed instead of attacking stats. Also announces on entry.
“I LOVE HOENN!!!11! Its Hoenn teammates are boosting this Pokémon’s speed!”
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): not applicable
Pokémon With This Ability: Ludicolo
Justification: Fast alternative to Ninjask on Hoenn teams that doesn’t die in one hit, the activation text makes it easy to understand what this ability does on entry for newcomers, same should be done for Hoenn Stan
Macabre Mourner:
User does a somber yet unnerving dance upon entry. Summons Graveyard for 5 turns or 8 if holding bonerockorsomethingidk, gives the user the ghost type, and heals the user by 10% hp for every fainted mon, counting both sides.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): not applicable
Pokémon With This Ability: Ludicolo
Justification: another graveyard setter, I’m regretting changing graveyard to gayveyard
Move: Baile de los Muertos
Power: —
Acc: —
PP: 16
Flags: Metronome, , Dance (I think this is right)
Category: Status
Type: ???
User is healed by 10% for every fainted mon counting for both sides. Adds the Ghost type to the user when used.
Afterwards, summons graveyard if graveyard isn’t up yet
If graveyard is already set, healing amount is doubled.
(ts pmo abc def ghi this was indeed broken never trust me)

This move only used upon Ludicolo’s entry, so it is not learned by any Pokémon.
If anyone speaks Spanish I would appreciate the help for the move if the almighty never incorrect Google Translate made a mistake
Unless we want to change Ludicolo’s nationality to make it so Portuguese just like a certain cat market pliers visited once upon a time

Note: Ludicolo receives the Hoenn tag. I’m not sure if it’s quite a fish, but I’ll leave it up to the judgement of the great Landorus-Therian to determine whether or not Ludicolo is a fish and if it should receive the Fish tag.

Mon Protection Clause
If a mon that currently exists in the Iron Fistlandia is to be adjusted or changed, the original idea of the mon must remain intact. Since the concept of an “original idea” can be very subjective, I will reserve the right to determine whether or not a change deviates significantly from the original idea of a mon, both through my judgement and the creator’s, as long as the creator isn’t the one advocating for an overhaul of the mon in question.
I swear upon my status as a member of Iron Fistlandia and the Iron Fist Discord that I will not abuse this privilege. All Pokémon deserve to be protected from persecution, big and small.
Additionally, the removal of a mon must be decided upon by a vote, either by the general populace or by LUOTIF.
Overhauling an already existing mon is just a way to get around the rule of one mon per slate at the cost of a (usually) innocent creation.
Note: LUOTIF reserves the right to alter the moveset and stats of any mon if determined necessary to balance the meta or remove any problems.

Smash Channel
Add a Smash channel to the Iron Fist Discord. Smash Fridays will be introduced. A smasher role will also be added. An Iron Fist Smash tour will also be added, with an additional year long subscription to Nintendo Music being added to the prize pool. More prizes may be added by citizens of Iron Fistlandia. Issues arising from the inability to participate due to not having a current Nintendo Music subscription necessary to compete may be addressed as needed. I put 90% of my autism points into smash the moment I gained consciousness, this is just a side effect of doing so
Upon completion of the final tournament, Jumpheart will attempt to repurpose the smash channel into a Rivals of Aether channel.

Slams the opponent with an anvil. Super effective on steel types. Power is multiplied by 1.5 if user is big. Calculates damage based on SpDef, not Def.
Pokémon that learn this move: Universal except for Melmetal, Melmetal 2, Smelmetal, and Silvally (my hate lives on)

Item: Card Crystal
Effect: If the holder uses Trump Card, adds an extra Trump Card use to the count and then removes this item.
- Fling Power: 70
- Fling Effect: No additional effects
Overview: Helps Balatro Blast teams ramp just a bit faster

Move: You Want Fun?!
- Type: Dark
- Classification: Physical
- Power: 65
- Accuracy: 95
- PP: 10 (max 16)
- Effect: Dragon Tail effects
Distribution: Kurayami, Goomba, Runerigus, Zacian-Crowned, Starmie, Mario Kart Wii, Electrode, Scrubby, Basculin-Blue-Striped, Fishing Zombie, Inkay, Apple's Newest Emoji, Jableye, The Pearl Hand, McFish, minun and plusle :D, Carnivine-IF, darkpoison, Nihilego, Chinchou, Houndoom, togepi
Overview: The user chases down the target and shows them fun :)
Phasing could be a good option for some of these Pokemon, crucially Goomba and Houndoom, both of which would want it for different reasons.

Ability: Wii Photo Channel Puzzle Mode
Effect: No secondary effects that would be removed by Sheer Force can trigger on either side while this Pokemon is on the field.
Distribution: Mario Kart Wii (in special ability slot), mario (in special ability slot), Porygon-Z (in special ability slot), Raccoon (in special ability slot), Hiveweb (in special ability slot), mega man (in special ability slot), Skibidragon (in special ability slot), Sigma Rice Lion (in special ability slot), Grimace (in special ability slot), Tyler the Creator (in special ability slot), any future Pokemon with a downscaled image as their sprite (in special ability slot)
Overview: Maybe one of these things can benefit from this. It does well into stuff like Looksmax Knuckle and Goomba Stomp, making it easier to answer the physical Fairy crew, but it comes at the cost of your own secondary move effects, so there's a tradeoff there you'd have to consider.

Adjustment: Citrus Jams
- Change: +20 Speed, +10 SpD
- Overview: Citrus Jams wasn't particularly good in testing (aside from maybe as a Balatro Blast mon under highly specific circumstances), mostly due to being understatted. With some extra speed and maybe just a bit extra bulk, it might work a bit better as a Specs mon.

Adjustment: Chocolate Kiss
- Change: -20 Power
- Overview: Fairy priority is quite good and Stall Zacian having this turned it into a next level nightmare. Sylveon and Impidimp have also proven problematic with this being a notable reason as to why.

...We all know why you're really here.

Type: Fairy/Rock/Silly
Ability: Gorgeous Musical Anvil (Does nothing if this ability is not on Archanvil. On team preview, sets the time period to Antiquity. Grants a fifth moveslot for Archanvil containing the move Temportal Action; every time Archanvil switches in while above half health and prior to getting a KO, the time period changes. Default point is Antiquity; the order is as follows: Antiquity, Middle Ages, 1000 AD, 1999 AD, Prehistoric Era, then it loops back to Antiquity. While above half health and prior to getting a KO, Archanvil is immune to all non-volatile status conditions. Below half health or upon KOing an opponent, Archanvil enters one of five forms, based on its highest non-HP stat (Atk = Archanvil-Fists, Def = Archanvil-Limiter, SpA = Archanvil-Infinity, SpD = Archanvil-Nullifier, Spe = Archanvil-Gravity). If there is an exact tie, the order in which it is broken will first be Attack, then Defense, then Special Attack, then Special Defense, and finally Speed. Once Archanvil dips below half health or scores a KO, it will not be able to return to its previous form, change the time period, or regain its status immunity, even if it returns above half health after that point. This ability cannot be removed, copied, disabled, or ignored)
Ability Move: Temportal Action
- Type: Normal
- Classification: Status
- Accuracy: --
- PP: 5 (max 8)

If the time period is 1000 AD, calls Dia-BALL-ic Whisper. If the time period is 1999 AD, calls Dreambeliever. If the time period is the Prehistoric Era, calls Grandstone.
- Z-Effect: Uses the Z-enhanced version of the move it calls.

Unsilly Light
- Type: Psychic
- Classification: Special
- Power: 60
- Accuracy: 100
- PP: 10 (max 16)
- Effect: Inflicts -1 Speed. Hits all adjacent foes. Light based move, just in case that’s relevant. If a target is Silly type, removes it and replaces it with the Serious type. Fails if used outside of Antiquity.

Lemon Star
- Type: Lemon
- Classification: Special
- Power: --
- Accuracy: 100
- PP: 5 (max 8)
- Effect: Halves the target’s current HP (Super Fang/Nature’s Madness/Ruination clone). Fails outside of the Middle Ages.

- Accuracy: 100
- PP: 5 (max 8)

Dreambeliever
- Type: Fairy
- Classification: Special
- Power: 130
- Accuracy: 100
- PP: 5 (max 8)
- Effect: Fails outside of 1999 AD.

Grandstone
- Type: Rock
- Classification: Physical
- Power: 150
- Accuracy: 100

Overview: Having stolen the Chaos Emeralds, a mere anvil has ascended into something beyond its meager prior purpose, into a holy, reality warping, mind boggling force. It uses its power to take whatever form it desires, and to go to whenever it desires, bringing unfortunate souls along for the ride. To top it all off, it boasts enough strength to have hijacked many of the techniques previously exclusive within Iron Fist, adding them to its repertoire without a second thought. Its chaotic nature cannot be contained, for it can be anywhere and everywhere. In theory, it would even want to cycle through time enough to gain access to powerful techniques like Dreambeliever and Grandstone, making it more dangerous with each passing moment. Such is the nature of Archanvil.

Greetings, everyone! So, it's the tenth slate already...my, time sure flies when we're having fun. I am Daiyafia, and we come with the message that Everhál has successfully passed the approvals alongside the two Frigid Terrain supports. Words cannot explain how happy I am to have her back in our organization at last...With our first recruit once again in willing hands, we are slowly, but surely, starting to get the advantage over the beasts at last. But it will take years for the beasts to be eradicated like this...not to mention, we have yet to find the beast that claimed my trainer's life...and destroyed Everhál's city. Our best bet is to get the Diamond Hand back together, all 20 members, and for that, we need Impromancer to revive our fallen comrades properly across the next few slates.

But before we begin, it is time to reveal our final new member, (for now) the one that will complete the 20 types! Dr. Liberty has finally finished the new iteration of Horrifination, now under the guise of the Silly-type. Now with a new name, it will bring some new tricks beyond the eye can see...alongside some new Diamond Hand support tools.

Weight: 4.7 kg.
Custom Elements:
Abomination's Jig: A Silly-type Physical dance move with 80 BP, 16 PP, 0 Priority, and 100% Accuracy. Has a 30% chance to inflict Insanity on the target. Insanity is a volatile status condition that makes the victim use Chaos Potion after they attack (Which turns them into a random Pokémon) Silly-types are immune to Insanity.
The BFDI Song Catchy Song: A Silly-type sound based status move with 16 PP, 0 Priority, and 100% Accuracy. Inflicts the target with Insanity by rotting their brains.
Jester's Folly: If this Pokémon is hit by a contact move, there is a 30% chance that the target will be inflicted with Insanity.
Competitive Role: Unpredictable
Flavor / Description:
Based off the phrase, "The Last Laugh", T'La'Ágh started off as an experiment by Dr Liberty back in the 4th slate, where it was then known as Horrifination. The experiment was intended to create a Pokémon that had the full power of the Freaky-type, but after it was discovered that it was actually the Silly-type, on top of the prototype's rather odd way of dealing with males, it was destroyed by Daiyafia himself, and the experiment went back to the drawing board...until now. After six future slates, Dr. Liberty has finally perfected the ultimate source of the Silly-type's energy. This time, the creation progress was a lot more stabalized, and additional energy was utilized from a distant region of puzzle games, where somehow a Weedle was stronger than Mega Mewtwo X. With a kooky personality that can catch anyone off guard no matter how intelligent they are, alongside a ball that it rides upon with shards that can cut through solid diamond, this Pokémon is planned to expand the combat potential of the Diamond Hand massively should it survive the initial test so it can enter mass production. Strangely, the first prototype has an odd liking of playing cards....
Note: This Pokémon is male only. It is also obviously a Diamond Hand member.

V5Y50GL.png

New Item: Gangster's Fedora: Makes the Pokémon holding this be treated as a Diamond Hand member. Does not have any other effects. When flung, this is a 30 BP move that sets up a Madness counter on your side of the field.

New move: (This is a rather complex one) Cunning Lackeys: A Normal-type Status move with +1 Priority, 100% Accuracy, and 32 PP that is learnt by all Diamond Hand members. Deploys a Lackey of the user's primary type to the user's side. (For example, Daiyafia would deploy a Normal Lackey, while Zestii would deploy a Lemon Lackey) Lackeys are entry hazards, and only one Lackey of each type can exist at a time, but multiple Lackeys of different types can exist. When a Pokémon who is a Diamond Hand member is sent out on it, it gains a volatile status condition that grants the user the "Send In The Lackeys!" attack, a Normal-type Status move with 1 PP. When it is used, all Lackeys are destroyed: Then, for each one destroyed, the user uses a move on the target based on the type of goon destroyed. Finally, the user forgets all instances of Send In The Lackeys.

BONUS ANVIL!!!
QponFgs.png

Pokémon: Anvilapis (Anvil + Apis)
Typing: Friend
Base Stats: 97/90/98/90/90/110 (575)
Abilities: Generous Friend
Movepool: Befriend, Pep Talk, Shake Hands, cuddIe, Chocolate Kiss, Vine Boom, Lethal Hug, Pound, Growl, Wing Attack, Twineedle, Struggle Bug, Pounce, X-Scissor, U-Turn, Leech Life, Pollen Puff, Bug Buzz, Skitter Smack, Lunge, Bug Bite, Fake Tears, Taunt, Heat Crash, Heat Wave, Burning Jealousy, Charm, Disarming Voice, Draining Kiss, Dazzling Gleam, Play Rough, Earthquake, Earth Power, Bulldoze, Acrobatics, Aerial Ace, Air Cutter, Air Slash, Tailwind, Roost, Fly, Swords Dance, Metronome, Psych Up, Endeavor, Trick, Psychic, Psyshock, Psybeam, Zen Headbutt, Calm Mind, Gravity, Metal Claw, Smart Strike, Heavy Slam, Iron Head, Flash Cannon, Iron Defense, Gyro Ball, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Endure, Facade, Helping Hand, Protect, Rest, Sleep Talk, Substitute, Take Down, Tera Blast, Fishing Terrain, Fish Eater, Hold Hands, Mewing
Weight: 5.4 kg.
Custom Elements:
Befriend: 80 BP Physical Friend-type contact move with 16 PP, 100% Accuracy, and 0 Priority. 30% chance to lower the target's attack by 1.
Pep Talk: 80 BP Special Friend-type sound-based move with 16 PP, 100% Accuracy, and 0 Priority. 10% chance to make the target flinch.
Shake Hands: A Friend-type status move with 32 PP, 100% Accuracy, and +6 Priority. If the user used a move last turn that was not a Status move, the target uses that move. Then they flinch. (Meaning it cannot be used twice in a row. The move fails on Epic Beam because it's technically a status move until it's used)
Generous Friend: At the end of each turn, if this Pokémon is not holding an item, it convinces the opposing Pokémon to give its item to it. This is treated as stealing the opposing Pokémon's item.
CHANGES TO THE FRIEND-TYPE:
Friend, previously a flavour type for the move cuddIe, is now a full blown type! It is Super Effective against Fighting, Dragon, Lemon, and Silly, but is not very effective against Dark, Fire, Steel, and Ice-types. Friend-types resist Ghost, Lemon, Psychic, Fighting, and Dragon-type moves, but are weak to Fire, Dark, and Water-type moves. In addition, Friend-types are immune to infatuation and Baseball (They're already friends with you and can already play ball)
Competitive Role: Friend-type attacker
Flavor / Description: Anvilapis is the perfect example of an initial idea: An idea that is initially formed at the start of the design process, but usually never makes it to the drawing board. In this case, Dr. Liberty was trying to experiment with the essences of the different beasts that failed to make it past the legislation in a hope that they could be useful for the artifical Diamond Hand members. For this experiment, titled "5-ARCUS-3", Dr. Liberty has tried combining the essences of a monster called "BuzzBuzz the Bee", which wielded the energy of an unseen type, with a shipment of anvils he had just received that were clearly intended for Nedontrol's newest dish (Don't ask) Dr. Liberty's intention for this Pokémon was that it would drop its anvil with enough force to smash a sheet of solid titanium into paste. However, curious about how the prototype did against the training dummies, making them think that it is their friend by acting all friendly, before smashing them with the giant anvil that it rides upon without anyone looking, Dr. Liberty submitted the design to the legislations without anyone knowing, even though a Pokémon has already been submitted. Will it make the cut? Who knows.....
Note: This Pokémon is female only. It is also obviously a Diamond Hand member. (The Diamond Hand logo on this one is the wings, by the way)
xtQPF0z.png

BACKUP BONUS ANVIL!: New Item: Diamond Anvil: Lowers the holder's Speed by 6 when they are sent out, but in return, makes them receive triple the effects from Madness Counters. (+3 to their highest stat instead of +1) (This is not actually part of the UberTrainer2000 submissions for the slate, but rather a backup in reserve should Anvilapis end up violating the rules.)

Base Stats: current --> 120/90/90/160/160/190
Abilities: best friends <3 (moves hit twice, but each hit does 0.49x damage) --> best friends <3 (moves hit twice, but each hit does 0.25x damage)
Movepool: remove Seismic Toss (think it already has been but just in case!!!)
Explanation: back to orig statline but abil severely nerfed. damage output is as uninspiring as ever (not exactly the same but near enough); more bulk and speed lets them do things. i am open to changing the exact numbers involved (rough ratio to remain the same) but based on conv in ifcord (admittedly inconclusive) i think this might be a lot more acceptable than the initially horrible first impression suggests.

Something Else idk it's not a mon/move/item/abil/adjustment
Name: Ironfistlandia Flag Competition
What It Is: Competition to create the flag of Ironfistlandia
Explanation: Our glorious nation does not yet have an official flag. That. Is. A. Dis. Grace. I propose that we hold a flag competition immediately to give us a flag.
How It Will Work: Applicants will create flags and submit them in the Iron Fist Discord or possibly in the Iron Fist Smogon Thread if Jumpheart says that's okay. At the end of the application process, the inhabitants of Ironfistlandia vote to decide what our official flag will be. The flag will be displayed prominently in the OP of this thread and in the relevant channel/s in the server.
Justification: i want to make silly flags :) it will be fun!!!!!!!!!

Competitive Justification: A long and arduous struggle to truly become powerful has led Wishiwashi to a desperate path. Those who saw him all declared "You will never be a meta threat", and despite dreaming to achieve such greatness, alas, one's wishes could not simply be granted without effort. Thus, Wishiwashi traversed lands all across the world, swimming up cascading, harsh waterfalls in an attempt to fly, exposing himself to harsh elements aiming to resist their effects, and even swallowing small flames in an attempt to get used to breathing fire. And despite what everyone says, Wishiwashi's head remained strong and he believed his tireless efforts would soon come to fruition. Wishiwashi would show them all, and one day, after years and years and years of dedication, right as his goal seemed impossible, he could feel the power surging within, his body became sturdy and unbreakable, the bounds of what could physically harm him becoming naught, the intense feeling of an insectoid power came over him,, and an arcane purple flame began to bellow from his throat. From this moment onward Wishiwashi knew his purpose had been fulfilled, he could finally show the world what he has become, he could finally declare "I Am Meta."

(Just gives Wishiwashi a fine buff to his stats and a much larger movepool.)

Name: :Shrimp: Plate

Effect: When Any Pokémon holds this plate has their type changed to be a type that's resistant to the Opposing Pokémon. However, this uses up the Plate, so your type can't be changed afterwards (Unless you terastalize, i guess but that would be a waste of a bug tera potentially)
All moves of the same type as your Base Pokémon. (Dual types are factored in, as it turns dual type pokemon into monotypes.)
No interaction with Tera Blast. All Moves become the same type as your current type, too.

Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): No

Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): Yes

Fling Power & Effect: Can't be flung, fails

Justification: I suddenly got a flash of inspiration. hopefully, an item like this could be a bit of a niche, since it seems like it'd be neat to use. However, I'm not expecting it to change the meta that much. It's like Conversion 2, kind of (but it's with the Pokémon's type instead of it's last move used.) (alt name is shrimp plate)

Had some thought on the mod's current direction, will add subs later
Perhaps I'm just a cynical old crone, but I feel that the silly side of Iron Fist is devolving, that the community's sense of whimsy and charm is being transformed into a pass for indulgence and mediocrity. That is, that "the funni" is being used to justify legislation that is frankly worthless.

To illustrate my concerns, I posit minun and plusle :D as Iron Fist's silliness at its worst. Firstly, it was designed with no regard for impact on the metagame's health; excessive stats, PBond Seismic Toss, and uncalcable multiplier would have landed it in infamy had it been usable prior to being nerfed. Secondly, and this cannot be stressed enough, it isn't funny. Humour is derived from irony, some form of contrast or contradiction. There is simply no irony in minun and plusle :D; there's no tangible joke. This mon provides value to neither the metagame nor to the mod's thematic tone, and is even detrimental to the former.

Besides the problematic impact they can have on the metagame directly, the greatest issue these submissions lead to is unnecessary esotericism. Because Iron Fist has yet to be exposed to a wider body of outsiders, we haven't had the opportunity to appreciate how much a new player has to learn to fully engage with the meta. A new player will have to learn about new typings, Fishing Tokens, Big Button, Tera Bug, Pokemon flags, 90 abilities, 35 non Mega Stone items, 104 moves, and a dex of 144 base formes. As designers, we are demanding a great deal from new players. This is not necessarily an unfair demand when it comes to elements that have been designed with care. It becomes unfair when an element's design ethos amounts to no more than an unfunny meme. The issue of esotericism also extends beyond the mere quantity of customs, with elements that I can only assume have been intentionally designed to be obtuse. Incinerate is one-to-one clone of Knock Off except that there are an additional few items that are arbitrarily unaffected. Sckckckckckeptic and Gayveyard, whose previous names were perfect, have been given new names which only serve to muddle their intuitive function and make checking by the /dt command more difficult in the former's case. We must put greater stock into making the meta inviting to new players, as without them Iron Fist will inevitably run dry. Also note that metagames have been criticized for far less than what this mod does.

An example of a silly sub that I like is Ronald Reagan. While Reagan didn't entirely pan out in practice, he has two things going for him that ought to be taken note of. The first is that he was designed with direction and intent. His attributes were decided with regard to his intended role of a defensive pivot and FT generator as well as to the wider meta. The second is that his flavour is reflective of his function. His Reaganomics ability inflates his side's Fishing Token count and very occasionally grants the opposing side a single Token, which is cleverly contextualized as Reagan's theory of trickle-down economics. This harmony between flavour and function makes learning the mon less of a hassle and reduces esotericism; "What does Ronald Reagan do in Iron Fist? Oh, that's right, he inflates the economy!"

Two other examples of silly subs I think are good are mario and mega man. Besides being functionally sound, they both feature an identifiable joke, that of each possessing a sprite depicting the other character rather than their own. This creates situational irony, as it subverts the viewer's expectations of which mon matches which sprite. For more information on ironic theory, see this wikipedia article. Some other silly-leaning subs I hold in high regard include Smelmetal, Metapod, the Lemon type, and Tera Bug.

If you don't feel confident in your ability to design legislation that can stand solely on its functional merit, the best thing you can do is play the game more and pay attention to what interactions provoke thought. I don't just mean to play more Iron Fist, but rather to go and learn whatever meta, be it ADV OU or SV AG, and develop your fundamental understanding of the game through it. Perhaps this is a tall order for some, but so is learning to design in an engine you haven't engaged with considerably.

fully agree with tanny said.
im gonna say what ive said a lot already, but i think its astounding how a mod with an otherwise semiserious premise can so quickly go off the rails with its subs but magically assemble itself into a competitive meta rivaling more polished mods.
that being said, there are a catastrophic amount of mons in the meta already, even after jumpheart's well-aimed population control metagame change, and like half of them are unused bc either theyre outclassed (see stuff like whonhef, traike, starmie) or just absolute brainrot like lime lips, pz-mega, and richard petty. at best theyre just another placeholder in the builder and mild annoyance in coding but other times itll just upend the entire meta for no reason (see the aforementioned minun&plusle and original just the birds).
you might think that your sub is funny and suppressing these types of subs is some kind of "bias against flavor" but when these mons or abils or moves are made without any thought to how it will affect the meta, people who actually play the meta suffer. echoing one of my other posts in discord:
1739348021453.png

(for legal reasons this is hyperbole)
the question remains then, where do we go from here? while i dont necessarily agree with the idea of the wheel of doom i can see what jumpheart was going for considering 150+ mons. this is why i added the sub justification metagame change - going forward, we need to start thinking much harder about why we are submitting a new thing and how that new thing is going to affect the meta for the better. instead of tacking on more and more mons we should be looking at the mons we have already and asking ourselves how we can improve them and by extension the meta.
i think ill try to get the dlu to assist in completing the teambuilder splitting metachange so we can get a better idea on what is used and what is not, and hopefully people can take a look at the mons that want a buff and give one out appropriately.
also please play the meta its like clubmons requiem if it was named crackmons freakium and added like 10 new archetypes

I also agree here with Tanny and Anaconja, and have thought approximately as much since before teambuilder splitting was even submitted. It's not just the mons either, as Tanny mentioned. With so many new archetypes and mechanics, it's legitimately difficult to keep track of it all, even for me. (And I've been here since slate 2, have severe pokemon autism, and am a local recordkeeper and analyst of all submissions, alongside whoever does the sheet.)

And while each mon has received some amount of love, there are legitimately some shitters out there that contribute nothing and would likely be bad even in an Iron Fist UU. Richard Petty, as stated before, is just worthless. Contamicow, Whonhef, Komala, Lime Lips, Keisberg-IF, Lucario-Calm, Hiveweb, and Togepi (sorry large ashlynn) are all non-contributing members of the meta as well, as are a few of the potential Deez NUts users.

It's not that the meta is bad due to these mons, since they are effectively nothing in the meta. Even I think Iron Fist is very fun to play, but is simply just too taxing to keep track of, because of the sheer scale of all the strange little things that can come up, along with all the useless filler that doesn't help the matter. We have 6 weathers to consider and 6 terrains, and a new hazard...it gets to be a lot.

And that's not even mentioning some of the actively problematic submissions, of which Ana mentioned two. I want to specifically point out Boom or Doom, which adds nothing of value aside from some very short lived whimsy, in exchange for this slate's veto phase being confusing to newcomers and anyone who didn't read the slate 9 subs.

I love this meta, I love this mod, and I want to see it thrive. But what's currently happening is slowly strangling the life from it, and it's not pleasant to watch.

Next time you write a submission, think about how it would feel to use/encounter what you're submitting. It's important.

A lot of good posts here and a lot of good ideas brought up, but I feel like there's some kind of important stuff missing here.

I've not been especially involved in Iron Fist lately outside of random Discord chats, but the conclusion I'm reaching from these posts that none of them seem to explicitly say is that we straight up should not be adding brand new stuff here. I think it's important to say on the off chance that it's either some conclusion people have reached but nobody has described or that there's some part of this conversation that I'm missing here. This is not a bad thing since every meta's gonna feel complete at some point so don't take this as me complaining or anything like that.

The big point everyone has made here is "make sure whatever you're subbing truly adds to the meta." Like...I've seen two different rough drafts of VRs on Discord and both of them have 70+ Pokemon as likely to hold at least some niche in the meta. There are more than this in actuality because there are a lot that were simply put as "untested" but let's stick with the number 70 for the sake of this argument.

70 is already an absolutely huge number of viable Pokemon for a meta. How much higher can you expect this number to go before it's impossible for some of those 70 to become outclassed or possibly power crept out by whatever new mons there are? I can't imagine it being by much if there even is still that room to grow. Or am I misunderstanding the point of both of these VRs? Does "good" in both of those cases mean that you can use them if you want without being dead weight, but that they're also outclassed or not worth it?

Buffing stuff to the point of being usable if you want to play around with them for fun is kind of understandable. I could see there being merit to the idea of a meta where you can pick one of ~80 of those unproven Pokemon and have a good time with them if you build with 5 other viable mons around them. Otherwise, yeah, there's little else to sub, which means there's nothing at all to sub for the people don't care about this idea. That's my big question at this point - is this idea something that people want? Adding new Pokemon, moves, abilities, and items is unnecessary since we have plenty of each at this point and it's just gonna be added coding work unless there's genuinely really good merit to having one Pokemon replace another in a meta.

The other exception, other than nerfing especially unhealthy top tiers which the DLU can also do, would be subbing other ways to "simplify" the meta. The example of changing Sckckeptic's name back is a good one but maybe we can also get rid of moves, items, and abilities that don't add anything to the meta. I have to imagine people would be way less upset by removing those than Pokemon, which by the way I'm kind of confused where people stand on this? Like people are putting forward the idea of keeping track of 150+ Pokemon being bad, which I'd agree with in a vacuum, but people also said that Teambuilder Splitting was a good solution to this. Does more need to be done?

Either way, the amount of meaningful contributions that can be made to the current Iron Fist meta is running out altogether. This is probably what people are getting at to some degree but I think it needs stated that unless there's some other drastic change, this meta's submissions cycle seems to be pretty close to its end.

Regardless of whether or not people agree with me I want to point out that this mod has had a fantastic run to say the least. Through my time in this community, it's been very rare to see a Pet Mods tier run for 6 months unless it's had glacially slow development or much longer-lasting periods of inactivity than this mod ever got. Most of those have periods where community interest has come and go but this one's pretty consistently been very popular by the looks of it. Whether the focus afterwards ends up being a soft reboot or simply to develop the meta I personally will probably be sticking around regardless.

#1 Adjustment: Fudgesaur

001Goku (1).png
003SSJ3_Goku (1).png

Name / Sprite Changes
Base Fudgesaur -> Goku
Mega Fudgesaur -> SSJ3 Goku (Still considered a Mega)
Ability: Disgusting, Repulsive Dessert -> Saiyan Power
Pristine Dessert: Even Further Beyond
Baking Blast -> Kamehameha
Grants +2 Attack instead of Sp. Def now if struck by a contact move

Base -> 80 / 122 / 86 / 85 / 65 / 87 (BST: 525)
Mega -> 80 / 122 / 123 / 105 / 65 / 70 (BST: 625)

Movepool: +Counter, Crunch, Dragon Hammer, Dragon Pulse, Hyper Beam, Lethal Hug, Mach Punch, Tail Slap, Roar, Wish

Justification: He ate Fudgesaur and took its place :( (Okay but moreso because the original purpose of Fudgesaur wasn't working and reorienting to a more physical set would at least give it some kind of usability)

#2: Adjustment: Silvally-Fighting
View attachment silvally-fighting.webp

Moves: +Comet Punch, Dynamic Punch, Facade, Fire Punch, Focus Punch, Ice Punch, Mach Punch, Meteor Mash, Power-Up Punch, Shadow Punch, Thunder Punch
RKS System -> RPS System (Stands for Rock Punch System)
RPS System: RKS System + Iron Fist + Guts

Justification: Gives an underutilized Silvally form an actual niche by having a more offensive-oriented ability set that encourages switching into status moves, plus some extra coverage options for the other forms (if less effective in their hands).

#3: Metagame Change: The Great Filler Culling

Effect: Any mon that has not participated in at least 17 battles throughout its entire existence within the Iron Fist mod will be removed from the mod (with this also applying to any moves/Abilities/items that were specifically locked to that one mon). The only exception is mons that debuted in Slates 9 and 10 (i.e after the Playtesting Tour), as they have likely not had enough battles generally yet to determine if they are reasonable to stay. *

Justification: The mons that have not seen any extensive use outside of a few one-off battles to test them out (and/or for bug-testing purposes) will be removed to declutter the teambuilder (and item/move/Ability builder by extension), making it easier for newcomers to get into the mod while also allowing veteran Fisters to scope out what's seen experimental use but hasn't broken into standard play a bit easier for the purposes of a possible UU (and also removing mons that would be bad even in that hypothetical UU). 17 battles was chosen as a reasonable cutoff point for where there is likely an active player base for the mon in question, as well as accounting for later Slate mons not having as long an opportunity but still having stuff like the Playtesting Tour for potential stardom.

*Note: I am currently working on a list for each mon's total appearances in IF battles (although I am at work right now so it may not be completed until I return home tonight). Needless to say though, metagame staples like Silvally, Zacian-Crowned and Smelmetal are unaffected.
Anvil Slot
Name: Anvil Memory
Effect: When held by Silvally, it becomes a Steel/Fire Type (still considered Silvally-Fire in the teambuilder)
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): No
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): No
Fling Power & Effect: Cannot be flung
Justification: Buffing one of the less used Silvally types in Fire (by making it into a better type).

I think this is a really good post that addresses some really important conversations. I'll keep my response brief by Jump standards, but this has been something that has been weighing on my mind for a couple slates now.

I agree that this iteration of Iron Fist is approaching a stage where new additions are discouraged. Since the Beaf slate, a lot of progress has been made in helping flesh out the metagame and focus on working with what we have, which is awesome! There has been a large amount of scope creep, though, which makes it incredibly inaccessible to get into as a player. I run the mod and am lost watching Ana vs. Tanny games, lol. There's only so much you can add to a mod before it feels bloated; Tanny's Hoenn Gaiden comparison is apt.

Wheel of Doomposting aside, though, I don't think removing options is a good idea. Iron Fist is a micro meta, yes, but it's one with a shocking amount of options, in a way I think is good more so than not--once playtesting is done. I think there is some simplification and decluttering to be done, but outright slicing chunks off of the metagame isn't something that appeals to me.

As the mod leader, I think that Cycle 1 of Iron Fist only has a couple more slates in it, because we are a) running out of subs and b) honestly very close to a great metagame. After that, I think actually playtesting the mod (hey remember the tour? I don't) should be a priority, with a goal to be competitive by PMPL, with a potential Cycle 2 far down the line.

This is a great metagame and as Duo said in his post, we've had a great run as one of the most active mods this generation. Being comparable to the Eeveemods and Fusion Evolution, as a first-edition mod by a relatively inexperienced modder like myself, is a really awesome feat, and we should be proud of ourselves (ignore slate 3.5). Everything has to end though and I think this edition of Iron Fist is approaching its twelfth hour.

I personally don’t think usage stats necessarily dictate if we should get rid of a mon. Lemon has 2 uses but I think it just needs buffs and this is true for multiple mons

Some mons just don’t have what they need to be complete (moves/stats/abilities/team members), and some mons are decent but don’t really do anything unique

We should instead get rid of things that overlap too much, and buff weak mons

Like what is melmetal doing when melmetal 2 exists?

to start with this is just horrific formatting
arctovish: totally eclipses lemon fish but whats really something is the assumption that shed tail will be allowed here considering 120 hp, low spe, and insane targets for sub.
sleep with the fishes is an rng move that feels terrible to use and play against
op lemon blast is an unnecessary parallelism and lemons (especially special ones) definitely do not need a buff with this
mercury melt is not fleshed out at all. does it make the user and/or the opp's sr into steelspike? if sr is already up and it switches in, does sr become steelspike or does it set steelspike on top of sr? why is this something we want in the meta?
drown in tea is w/e but not giving immunity to gayveyard/acidrain chip is p dumb and also i dont see the need to combine the two effects into one ability
overall an absolute mess of a sub and something i dont want in the meta
fashion icon: makes very little sense to put this on goomba bc its theoretical use is using secondary fang moves to take advantage of strong jaw and sheer force. apple definitely does not need a buff like this, feebas already has its niche/requirement in fishing tokens so its highly unlikely it can afford to stack this, and enam is just ass regardless. also this has the same problem of drown in tea
form of the lemon elephant: same issue of just adding parallelism. do any of the users actually want this? why go into so much trouble of setting acid rain just to get effectively spa/spe and slight healing when you can just forgo lemon and run fotse itself?
gayveyard: rainbow appearance is vetoed bc i cant do that, first of all
turning tokens to rainbow tokens is pretty pain in the ass coding wise and also breaks feebas completely (milotic with +3 to all stats)
comet punch:
1739502509937.png

so a zacc buff (would it use it? probably not) and maybe a psychic noise grumpig buff. lol
transvil: makes like 0 sense. why would you transform into sylveon when sylveon's viability hinges on pixilate?
overall: really a perfect example of the thing that tanny and i are warning about. none of these subs seem to have any thought put into them and either would fall by the wayside immediately or make great mons even better. if you want to make acid rain better consider making idk some physical lemon with acid rain spe boost, or adding a rock that extends acid rain. if you want to make gayveyard better consider buffing impromancer or carnivine, mons who already abuse it. dont make rng reliant moves and things that upend the meta.

bart: its alright i think, im a little concerned about more lemon attackers so maybe removing focus blast would help make rocks not fear it as much
googers energy: dont get this tbh

skeptic: good change
scrap chomp: dont get the point, most of the mons who get the move already have coverage for steels and its not like kingler/archeops/zacc ever needed recovery
secret: this shit does nothing
anvil: this is basically the same idea as the box of weasels except fling is broken, please reconsider
goomba stomp + regen: uh its like fine? giving up tera bugging out of eq for goomba stomp is pretty wack and i kinda doubt that even then goomba is gonna be very good

degen: the bit
sunflora-grave: good change and a proper way to buff gayveyard
abyssal anvil: dont get the use case for this why wouldnt i just use choice band

kyogre: appreciate the learnset code but if you could send the regular format to paste into the spreadsheet thatd be helpful
anyway it exists ig
citrus rend: why is it 1.6x :baseballed:
i think this is concerning on lemon fish bc the best switchins to lemons rn just get owned by liquidation. also add bite flag
kurayami: good change
lemon bash: good change
dilf: sure
anvil tag: sure

pulse of despair: is this an inkay buff? dont see why i would use special when you only hit ~120 spa after deeznuts and have to use a useless ability
continuous tackle: slop move, please reconsider
golisopod: is this distinct enough from wishiwashi? dont see it personally
time bomb: i dont see the vision because you have to sack a mega for a suicide lead that can probably be done better by furumo/swooliobat anyway
anvil drop: i definitely dont want to have to scroll up occasionally to make sure i counted the anvil drop turns right. also 10% secondary makes this more annoying

arkeus: i voiced my distaste for it on discord already but it boils down to me just not liking these kinds of gimmicks. looking at my teams i actually dont use many ghosts. i have rocks and steel sure but thats not preventing this mon from stacking 3 spikes on me or chipping me to death with salt cure or trapping me with tcage and then chipping me to death with salt cure while also using eat my shorts to prevent me from healing. it just goes on and on and i dont think a mon like this would be needed or fun to play against at all
union council: sure
fishield: i think this is entirely unnecesary and probably only used by fish factory
daiyakuza: good change
aqua ring: ive already said it in discord but tokens are already worthwile in the meta. it doesnt help that the aqua ring users dont synergize well with token teams and the fact that clicking defog means silvally just defeats the point of it. but also if you removed that interaction itd probably be stupid. but would you even want to click it if you already have bon appetit and bucket hat? its these back and forth questions that turn me off about subs like these
lawyer anvil: i thought it goes without saying that subs should have different names

conservation: dont really see the point of this if you have to spend two tokens to get value out of it (which you can replicate by running spin metapod). clearing weather/terrain/screens is too niche to be worth it and token teams dont have an explicit issue with those archetypes in the first place
eatme cookie: uh ig but typically mons click big immediately (unless youre like rawring moon). idk doesnt seem very useful
repeal anvil clause: good change
raccoon: good change
feebasproshops: you say gambling be gone but then reduce the chances of getting tokens... curious
otherwise seems like a decent coverage move for uhhhh
1739505165175.png

dr liberty? lol

richard petty: racers spirit is very concerning when you can spam gear grind and kill everything (+2 252 Atk Steelworker Tera Steel Klink Gear Grind (2 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Mew: 248-292 (61.3 - 72.2%) -- approx. 2HKO), please remove steely spirit and adapt
silvally: this is cringe zoomer half of the defoggers are fake af silvally is one of the few good ones

card crystal: sounds mid, just click trump card again
you want fun: goomba aint using this and youre coping on houndoom. it aint dialga bro
wiiphotochannelpuzzlemode: dont like these futureproofing distributions bc i cant remember that shit
dont get this change tbh because you can just use cloak for the same effect except you can use secondaries and its universal
citrus jams: sure
chocolate kiss: good change
archanvil: already outlined why this mon is clunky af in discord but basically you have to switch in 4-5 times without getting knocked to half hp to get the effect you want. but its a fifth moveslot so ig you can just run it as a token generator with a goofy move sometimes? idk im not in favor of it, cool sprites though

tlaagh: i forgot to remind you but i wanted abominations jig to only have a 30% chance to inflict insanity with ig a 100% chance to use chaos potion. also if this gets in and i cant figure out how to make dh mons immune to insanity im gonna have to remove that part just a heads up
besides the insanity bit though ig its a p good trump card abuser. id like more coverage to hit bugs/ices/rocks though
gangsters fedora: maybe interesting for daiyafia but im concerned with how it interacts with madness counters bc giving boosts to like unecro or zacc doesnt sound fun at all
cunninglackeys: can maybe see the intention but realistically its just a really bad move. you spend a turn setting effectively a onetime ~50 bp hazard that can only be used by dh mons and forces them to recharge. while it sounds funny to send 6 moves at once the investment is just too high to be worthwhile. i think removing the recharge and buffing the lackey moves to 60 bp would make it better but idk this is a very strange mechanic
anvilapis: epic beam + shake hands sounds absolutely ridiculous and should probably not exist lol
i dont like friend being yet another type weak to lemon bc lemon is already a crazy offensive typing, maybe you can rewrite it to resist bc uh friends like drinking lemonade
otherwise the mon is pretty mid honestly like tlaagh it doesnt have a way past resists like fire/steel/water

talonflame: ig its fine, walled by rocks and stuff like chinchou. not a big fan though
toxapex:

Eabi7IdXsAAhi9F.png

ironfistlandiaflagcompetition: sure
biganvil: honestly probably too frail for the mod, consider adding some physbulk

regibloom: very hesitant on this bc thats a hell of a lot of bulk on a decent type. consider altering the stats to lower special bulk
wishiwashi: sure

raichu: seems broken with psycho boost or geomancy + stored power, you should remove that
otherwise seems fine
shrimp plate: will this random types include those resistant to any type of the opposing mon? not a fan because of the rng elements and theres probably a way to break it that i cant see rn

goku: this is a radical change in response to only an assumption that fudgesaur isnt working the way it should be (you can just make baking blast add +2 def instead of spd and itd work well then). very much disapprove, illustrates the kneejerk tendency of pet modders perfectly
fightingvally: this doesnt give it any niche. im not spending a valuable silvally slot and passing up collachet to run basically worse collachet
thegreatfillerculling: also disapprove. theres a hell of a lot of bloat sure but outright removing mons is antithetical to a pet mod, and usage stats are highly subjective to trends and can even be taken advantage by one person who can just use certain mons enough times to evade the cutoff
anvilmemory: basically same problem as fightingvally but instead of competing with collachet you compete with fish factory instead

overall too many wack subs i hope you can improve

impressive. very nice. let's see landorus-therian's feedback.

Having been given feedback, I have decided to scrap all of my prior subs and instead primarily focus on adjustments:

Adjustment 1: Fudgesaur
Change: Baking Blast +2 Sp. Def -> +2 Def/+1 Acc.
Justification: Apparently makes it better at its role.

Adjustment 2: Electrode-Mega
Change: Time Bomb -> In addition to making the user faint after using any attack, it also extends usage of Light Screen / Reflect / Manual Weather Moves to 10 Turns

Justification: Improves its role as a support mon by allowing it to set up Screens / Weather and then quickly exit so a teammate can capitalize (w/ the extended duration compared to Light Clay / Weather Items giving incentive to run M-Elec over another user). The manual weather specifically could also be used for its Rain Dance purposes in allowing M-Elec a free 100% Accurate Thunder off its massive Sp. Att as its one attack.

Adjustment 3: Komala
Change:
Type: Normal -> Normal/Silly
Stat Change -> 75 / 120 / 70 / 75 / 105 / 35 (BST: 480)
Moves: +Big Bash, Counter, Lethal Hug, Fish N Dip, Lion Deluge, Mirror Coat, Stanky Leg, Trick Room
Bramblin Mentality -> +1 Att/Def, -1 Speed if switching in for a fainted Bramblin, Abomasnow, Margaret Thatcher, or Ronald Reagan.
Justification: Aims to give it a more definable niche by making it a powerful Trick Room mon, without changing its BST too much. The Normal/Silly allows for added STAB and resists, new moves are for some added coverage and utility (Lion Deluge for flavor and TR for self setting), Bramblin Mentality change aims to both support the Trick Room angle (lower your Speed and improve your survivability/power) while also making sense theoretically because Komala Harris is ideologically neoliberal (i.e conservative) and would/does economically align with Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher (Fish & Dip being meant to also tie into that). Counter/Mirror Coat specifically are meant to allow the mon to make use of Sckckckckckeptic, where the resists plus its added bulk allow it to survive those attacks better and chunk them back.

Anvil Slot:
Name: Anvil
Effect: Upon switch-in, -2 Speed to the user, but user is now 999 kg and has a 1.6x boost to their Steel Type moves.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): No
Fling Power & Effect: 90 BP Physical Steel Move, Flinches the foe on hit.
Justification: Grants a stronger-than-Band boost to a Type that is not particularly good at offense alongside improving weight-based interactions (probably best with Big Button), but also the weight of lugging an extremely heavy anvil around lowers the Speed (might have synergy w/ Trick Room). The Fling effect is because who wouldn't flinch if hit by a massive anvil?

Ability:
Name: Monster Mash
Effect: If Gayveyard is active, this Pokémon's Speed is doubled; immunity to Gayveyard.
Permanent (Yes or No): No
Mold Breaker (Yes or No): No
Pokémon With This Ability: Bramblin (replaces Infiltrator), Runerigus, Scrubby (replaces Hydration), Jableye, Zorua-Hisui, Kurayami
Justification: Gayveyard variant of Chlorophyll/Swift Swim/Sand Rush/Slush Rush

Adjustment: Fishing Terrain
Effect: Water Pledge no longer sets rainbow. Instead, Fire Pledge sets rainbow and Grass Pledge sets swamp.
Justification: The original interaction made no sense and I have no idea what I was thinking when I wrote that

Adjustment: Helping Hand
Distribution: Melmetal, Ninjask, Toxapex, Silcoon, Bramblin, Gholdengo, Kingler, Feebas, microwave, Ohmyrod, Celesteela, Big Crammer, Archeops, Runerigus, Goomba, Fridgile, Melmetal 2, Silvally, Vivillon-High-Plains, Zelda, Drigike, Phish, Starmie, Victreebel, Bondra, Impalpitoad, palpitoad is so cool, Metapod, Kakuna, Enamorus-Therian, Pokestar Fisherman, mario, Contamicow, Whonhef, Fish Factory, Basculin-Blue-Striped, Pokestar Giant, Richard Petty, Impidimp, Lemon, Fishing Zombie, Pokestar MT, Komala, Lime Lips, Lemotic, Rawring Moon, Keisberg-IF, Apple’s Newest Emoji, Lemon Fish, Dracolition, Kyrum, Iron Clown, The Pearl Hand, McFish, Applwirm, Absol, Iron Boulder, Hydralemon, Hiveweb, Fish Marketing 3, Pander Dragoon, Soruarc, Porygon-Z, Furumo, Fudgesaur, darkpoison, Sigma Rice Lion, Zorua-Hisui, Wishiwashi, Nihilego, Chinchou
Justification: Helping hand is supposed to be a universal move and a lot of mons were missing it. Part 1/3 in my doubles moves distributions.

Adjustment: Follow Me
Distribution: Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, Komala, Abomasnow, Daiyafia, The Pearl Hand, Lime Lips, Ohmyrod, Pokestar Giant
Justification: Follow Me was distributed to Pokémon which it fits flavor-wise. Part 2/3 in my doubles moves distributions.

Adjustment: Wide Guard
Distribution: Melmetal, Melmetal 2, Kurayami, Drigike, Collachet, Pokestar Giant, Nedontrol, McFish, Grimace
Justification: Wide Guard was given to large Pokémon, which it fits flavor-wise. Part 3/3 in my doubles moves distributions.

Item:
Name: Anvil Shoes
Effect: x0.5 speed, grounded. Destroys hazards when switched in.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 130, destroys hazards
Justification: The anvils are heavy and crush the hazards.

Pokemon: Frost Ace
Type: Ice/Rock
Abilities: Levitate / Slush Rush
Stats: 90/104/74/104/104/124 (600) (his doubled stats from iva+ cut off hp perfectly fit 600 it was too good not to use)
Movepool:
Ice Beam, Blizzard, Freeze Dry, EVIL SCARY U-Turn, U-Turn, Power Gem, Thunderbolt, Fiend Fire, Snowflake Shuriken, Icicle Crash, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Agility, Focus Blast, Frigid Terrain, Chilly Reception, Icy Wind, Powder Snow, Ice Punch, Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, Recover, Work Up, Superpower, Drain Punch, Slash, Triple Axel, Epic Beam, Hurricane, Air Slash, Winged Blade, Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball, Protect, Rest, Sleep Talk, Snore, Confide, Facade, Double Edge, Take Down, Tackle, Pound, Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Thunder, Piss on Grave
Justification: meta needs a foil to the big and evil landorus therian, in order to keep it in check. There are also no ice and rock types, and this adds offensive diversity. Powers are semi lore accurate. Meta also needs megaten representation

Move: SOUR CITRUSY stored power
Type: Lemon
Category: Special

PP: 10/16
ACU: 99.6
Effect: +21 bp for each of the users boosts
Tags: Contact
Reasoning: there r zero rock customs and this makes me want to kill with rocks anvils and hammers
Distribution: lemon types + Richard Petty, Starmie, Indeedee, Sigma Rice Lion

Clause
Name: fun clause
Effect: all moves have a 1/256 chance to fail regardless of accuracy
This is a joke if this wasn’t obvious enough. You also lost the game
