This is freaking me out has anyone else noticed this about Megas?

View attachment 717130I also noticed zacian and zamazenta have aspects of their design similar to swords and shields, specifically the game they come from. This is too convenient to be a coincidence.

Actually, not quite! It's a bit of a Zekrom/Reshiram situation with these two!

Has anyone else noticed that every core generational mechanic since Generation VI has started with a metric prefix?
Generations VI and VII featured Mega Evolution.
Generation VIII featured Gigantamax.
And Generation IX featured Terastallization.
You might call me crazy, but when Generation X features Petabilities, I want you to remember who you called crazy.

peta originates from the greek word for 5
as we know, you have 6 pokemon on your team
which means we have 1 pokemon out and 5 in the back (or 2 out and 4 in the back for double battles and 2 out 2 in the back for vgc but that's just semantics)
so
realistiaclly
that means the next generational gimmick is going to be putting the rest of your team's abilities on one mon.
