But hiding behind the facade of info vote when we already covered in-thread that it just isn’t an info vote is weak so it might just be a hit

This day has made the game very weird because there’s such a high scum to town ratio and in theory des / Alice / hydro are literally just town, so voting outside of it has a good hit rate when fully random lol

I think AG needs a couple of votes on him to unlock his true potential as town as shown in previous games :blobuwu:

The discovery that mafia and neutral both have watcher roles has made me remove him from the town blob, his content has been limited there isn’t much there

Like

Town: came into the day with a bold and rapid claim with a supposed redcheck

Scum: that’s all he’s done

This is the entire valuation his alignment is somewhere between 40-60% scum-town lol

Yeah basically my thoughts. He did explain a bit his thoughts in other post but I had to call him out for him to do that.

the benefit of him claiming watcher already is that there’s a high potential for self-resolution as he continues to use actions

Particularly if he’s mafia, he’s either gonna have to make some weird action usages at some point to cover for his allies, or he’s gonna have to try and seize the towncred himself with good action usages while removing his partners from the results

He can sell partners too and that’s well within DBD’s scum range but altogether there’s mech rationale we can use to judge his game

So while he’s giving us nothing in thread atm it’s not a slot I’m overly worried about unless he’s town and just makes bad choices
 
That being said based on vibes right now my vote candidates for this day and next one are the following:
A fairy, dbd, des

Less in priority:
Evie

But mech doesn't care about vibes so who knows what I'll end up voting next day :blobshrug:

I was gonna go to sleep and let the vote resolve itself but voting des was too egregious, i dont want to risk people not noticing and letting vote go to skip

So you think watcher usage can be helpful whether town or mafia? And it would be hard to use as mafia.

I mean the scary part of it is that mafia will always have more info than us this isn't an OC so they could plan around it.
 
A Fairy is on my list of people I can’t quite categorize yet. I slightly lean town on Des. I think revealing that Des was a transporter on the flip vs revealing A Fairy's role the second one is more tempting and more useful for town. Same idea with everyone that didn't claim or provided some info (me included from other povs).

I will just *vote a fairy

In favor of getting some info of the setup. She is very cool nothing against her.
 
Yeah in principle the fast traction is a warning sign but also 2 of the members of the wagon are hypothetically “just town” in Alice and des

Evie and Miyami are difficult slots to evaluate due to lack of meta but I would classify both as pretty towny so far? But also both could be scum?

Frankly it makes a fairy a decent info vote because it gives insight into 2 of the loose PoE players from flip (3 including me but I’m town !)

Well it’s more so that it’s pretty hard for DBD to hide info from town as mafia without eventually getting caught

Either by removing allies from watch results or by making bad target choices, eventually we find him

And he’s automatically found if he lies about town/neutral visits to give mafia an info advantage unless the player in question dies the same night, because we would just claim our target to redcheck him

So it’s not a particularly dangerous role on mafia. I imagine that’s why mafia watcher has a tracker added to it because they do get some kind of info advantage by also having the tracker that they don’t have to claim tbh

If he’s scarecrow it’s kinda whatever, we do have to kill neutral evils eventually but like,,,, not yet they can’t kill us lol
 
I liked the a fairy vote when it was initially suggested because I do think her wanting to vote Des over AG is very out of character

But as I kept reading and every single person hopped on I am very concerned about that vote
 
Ok the wagonomics are getting wild with ECat also jumping on lol this game is hard to work out

If we’re using wagonomics as the comparison metric then AG is exactly mafia and not neutral, because neutrals have the same wagonomics dynamics as town do

Which weirdly kinda cuts into the likelihood of AG being scum at large, from a probability pov

But that might be a dumb though idrk

And Evie is included bc the AG momentum had already waned hard, Evie kinda put the death nail in that wagon by switching but it was already dead they just nailed it in

So this is deceptively natural progression imo but it’s not amazing for being AI on the included players

AG or Lechen are the two people I would feel good about voting here right now. Lechen said he would post reads when he woke up so I'm hoping that happens soon, and maybe that will swing my opinion one way or the other.

The thing for me is that 6 entire people just jumped on the a fairy vote all at once. There are 8 town right now and I know myself and Hydro are town and I strongly believe DBD is town. I just don't think that wagon can possibly be pure and I think it's unlikely it doesn't have at least 2 opportunistic scum seeing an opportunity to get a vote that works out for them
 
Fwiw the Des vote is also terrible in my opinion. While I don't think Des is playing very well and I do think her actions are questionable I think it's stupid to vote out a transporter claim, a town role that could verify easily make Des fully conf town by tomorrow and could be vital to bringing town back from a situation where majority is lost (imminent)
