the way I see it with the knot
- dbd/alice and dbd/des are never both mafia together
- alice/des could both be mafia together, but that would require alice being janitor and getting incredibly lucky with her lie
- none of alice, dbd, and des are any more likely to be mafia than any other
- alice/dbd could be telling the exact truth and one of them can be mafia, but des (and evie?) would have to be lying to cover for a partner
- I guess evie is a part of this now too

if des is a transporter and telling the truth one of the first six living people in the name order in the OP would have to be the third one
 
ok I received no results last night. i received no message from Ehmcee regarding my action. This was not a hosterror either
 
Maybe you can verify that with Ehmcee? In real town of Salem you get no message if no one visits I'm p sure

I don't have any explanation for what would cause no results if that's not the case

It’s not on the list of hypnotist messages so maybe not?
 
I think here's where we're at with regards to roles that absolutely have to exist, assuming setup 1

- Town Transporter
- Town Transporter
- Town Transporter OR Mafia Hypnotist
- Town Watcher OR Mafia Recon
- Town Investigator OR Mafia Consilegre
- Town Bouncer OR Scarecrow
- Mafia Godfather
- Mafia Janitor
- Mafia Ambusher (in the doc as being on the list)

Setup 1 says mafia would have to be ambusher/support/deception/random, which with the information we have would be ambusher/janitor (deception)/godfather(filler) and rule out hypnotist entirely because the last one would have to be support and not deception, which would make it possible for exactly one of dbd or alice to be mafia. it doesn't preclude them both being town though
 
actually setup 3 rules out hypnotist as well I think since both godfather and janitor have to exist unless alice exactly performed both the janitor and kill, and there's only two deception slots for three deception roles with those 2 + hypnotist

I guess alice could still be the janitor and got caught in the act and telling the truth if a seperate consilegre targeted roxie n1 and recieved hyhy's role via transporter, which would not require a godfather and allow a hypnotist to be actually in play, although this also requires a second (third?) transporter to have hit hyhy/roxie

We can't be in setup 1, ambusher is a mafia killing role and so is godfather
