It was laggy but not that bad. Good match Steelicks!.Sorry for not responding before, the Wii is not in the same room so i have to run around the house!.

The only part where lag really annoyed me was on my suicide with Lucas for missing the PK thunder. And some miscalculation with Pika and quick attack :s.

I'll be around for a while.
 
the problem with lag is that it makes characters like ness and lucas almost unviable, since they need perfection for their recovery. oh well...

Then again the Pirate ship isn't exactly the best place to show off Ness's abilities, so I hope that we can play again sometime soon on a more fair stage. I also hope I don't SD with Ike on my first stock, jesus christ that was embarrassing...

Anyways yeah great games again, I look forward to playing your Pikachu and Ness more because I don't know many people that play as them.

I pick the tetra's ship on purpose. PK camping, easy recovery, and not-to-mention the dreaded insta-kill spike if you're caught in the water. Plus, Ness is floaty enough to dodge the cannonballs easier than other characters, and it forces them into the air against his aerials.

It's not a real show-offy stage for Ness, but hell it gets the job done.

Fishin, those were some good matches. I wasn't scared of your dedede (was ganna beat you before the DC!!!) :D
but your metaknight is pretty beastly.
I kept trying to pick counter-stages but they weren't going through.

Edit: Yeah, steelicks. Tell me about it. I main pikachu and ness. Pikachu's is even MORE sensitive to lag. pfff
 
That's cool Steelicks. I'm also an Australian so when I get my copy (and my wii online) I'll play you guys sometime. I'm really happy you can play people in other parts of the world (not just Australia). Shame about the lag though.

And Norfair was intentional. I wanted to see how Yoshi played against someone else there, but I ended up doing myself in, eh :P

I think I'm sort of getting used to TL, but you always mess me up with your down air. meeer. Still need to learn to beat Ikes :c

I had to go after that last match anyway. I wont be home till like 9.

Whenever I see people online, I open a room in the hopes they'll join me (hence my new battle message). No, you didn't preempt anyone. I wanted to see if there was any less lag for me when my computer was turned off. There wasn't....

Your Squirtle is really good, though you should probably learn how to kill. You had me over 100% for most of that match-up. Also, that particular match had the potential to be epic, but sadly I SDed twice. And one time was at 0%....
 
Some good matches. Sorry for projectile spam, WiFi is so laggy I have absolutely ZERO control in the air so trying to approach is just dumb

I suck? Really though, the two play completely differently. From what I've seen, Wolf is a land player while TL is aerial. Wolf also happens to have greater range with his smashes, because most of them involving bounding forward in some way.
 
No, I beat most forms of Toon Links. I beat Petro's 3-1 in a series of 4. Your pretty good in your own right, which is why I want to try a team battle combo with you.
 
Jeez, that lag was getting annoying. Couldn't land an aerial for the life of me! Great job AltCtrlPwn! You performed really well with that 10 or so frame lag we had going!

EDIT: Wolt, I think you would have more trouble with Toon Links off WiFi, he's got a great aerial game, but it's so hard to land them right on WiFi. I'll get you eventually Wolt! You're probably the best person I've played on WiFi

and i'll play Hawk if you still around (i'ma go, cya)
