I do think there is some loose connection between flavor and roles. Do you think the same based on the flipped roles so far?
Probably mafia roles correlate with their flavor as well so mafia can claim their role and have it make sense from a flavor PoV.
But I assume flavor would be difficult for mafia to just make up other roles altogether

flavor and roles are at the very least vaguely connected, taking examples, solemn lament is closely connected to death, hence hal can gravedig.
