Probably the best looking Mega so far, obviously it’s the first non-Kanto Mega they’ve shown but I don’t think anyone really cares that much about that anymore anyways. Wasn’t really a fan of the video itself, but that’s moreso just me not being a fan of that kind of art style, not because it was a “bad” trailer or anything. I do feel like they put a bit more effort into the Victreebel video than this one, though.

ok this trailer makes the design look even cooler hell yeah
also they edited it like a tokusatsu fight lmao sick
the design is okay - I wish it had a bit more, maybe a bit taller / more like.. ruffled feathers maybe idk? echoing that it does look like Hawlucha with a head piece on and bigger lats.. but it's not bad.

Interesting. This is the first of the new reveals to specifically mention stat buffs; Attack and Defense in this case.

Wonder what they mean by that title. “Makes a Comeback” my guy you just revealed this thing less than half an hour ago. I know it’s probably just for fun, but my brain requires I think way too hard into everything and now I’m wondering if there’s some connecting lore or anything of the sort with these trailers.
immediately thinking it gets a defense boost or it gets stamina but it would be classic game freak if its like big pecks lmao (we wouldnt know what the real abilities are until gen 10 obviously)

I was thinking about this the other day. I really like Megas like these that don’t completely overshadow the already-good base form. Gyarados and Slowbro are prime examples. Their Mega forms are basically another set for them.
That… makes a lot more sense. I do think it would be neat if they ever did something like that, though, like teasers inside of teasers or something.
As far as the design is concerned, I could maybe see its battle style leaning into this a bit. Base Hawlucha’s this fast physical sweeper or sorts but similar to Annihilape (did I spell that right?) and Rage Fist I think it could be a fun way of leaning into the aesthetic of this thing gets stronger or weaker depending on how the fight’s going.
if we go off what the official website says (which is unreliable because the people who write flavor text are not the ability people lol)
it would be something like Stamina + Body Press, or even in just Legends ZA it spams Body Press and Flying Press
if it gets a new ability in gen 10 it would be cool if it had like a slam and press moves are boosted

Yeah people ignore that VGC already allows sins against nature (Calyrex-Rider), Shedinja is just something like a stat check. It's like those people who said it was great in gen3 Ubers because it walled Kyogre, my brother in christ just use Ludicolo if you wanna troll.
