I believe mafia is a game where you need to stick to your convictions (within reason), otherwise you end up “tinfoiling” as yall call it and make game-costing mistakes. This is why I’m sticking with my convictions that Texas and Tommy are the other two town players remaining (Texas is an obvious, but because I was right about him I believe I’m right about the other players too).
This is a perfect example of tinfoiling I think. Tommy’s getting convinced by the silver-tongued Celever to flip his read. I think we’re so close here and that Tommy is getting convinced by Celever that Celever isn’t really mafia, which is frustrating to me because like I said I think you gotta stick with your convictions at this point in the game. Not that there’s no room for re-eval, I’m not saying that, but I think if you read someone consistently the whole game (like I have with Texas and Tommy) you should trust your gut over making a last minute switch. So I think Tommy is making a mistake here as a good guy.
I wish I could say I had a harder scumread on you and Celever for why I think you’re the remaining two maf players, but what it comes down to is that because of how Texas and Tommy have been playing, I am SURE that they are town (with Texas now being a lock). Therefore, the two of you are be default scum. Which makes sense to me now that I think about it. I think you’ve both been playing different styles of scum, but ones that make sense.
Celever is “powerwolfing” trying to take over the thread and doing a pretty good job with it because he’s getting Tommy to tinfoil now. And you, Evie, have been playing the middle ground, not going afk like joey was, but flying under the radar just enough to survive this long. Ultimately, I think that was the scum team’s strategy, have a variety of different play styles among them to throw us off the scent. I mean let’s take a look.
Clouds: shot on c1 so not a lot of info to glean
Skipper: Sus’d out early, then fell off the map (probably coached to do so)
joey: the afk “deepwolf”
DBD: a reverse skipper, less active, then when sussed out became more active (didn’t work that well clearly)
Evie: middle ground the whole game
Celever: the “powerwolf”
That’s how the gameplan for scum reads to me. Here’s their future gameplan: we have 5 players left. Texas is locked town obviously, so he can shoot me, Tommy, Evie, or Celever. Evie and Celever know that Tommy has been one of the most publicly pro-town players all game and there’s no way they get Texas to shoot him. Which means they gotta go all out on Texas shooting me to win the game. And it’s lowkey working as seen with Tommy backing off Celever and thinking that maybe he’s town now. I know we’re not going to get anything off Texas’s poker face right now, but I think what’s happening to Tommy is what they’re trying to do with Texas as well.

okay now this is all Celever and Evie fighting which makes zero sense to me as to why they would do this. It feels scum vs town to me but in my heart of hearts I’m not going against Texas and Tommy. Like this could very well be a scum vs scum interaction to throw us off the scent and push the shot onto me but I feel like they’re overdoing it lol.
Let’s say I’m wrong about Tommy. I guess the Celever/Tommy interaction makes more sense now (as in, Tommy coming around and thinking Celever is town being a carefully orchestrated plan). That makes more sense to me than whatever is going on right now. However, everyone is going nuts now that it’s only down to five players and a missed shot loses the game for town so maybe the maf is grasping at straws too here. So I’m sticking with my Texas-Tommy town read, and my Celever-Evie scum read.
Of the other 3 being serious it can all of them, obviously, but I have to be honest that I’m starting to think celever is town again

I feel like I’ve been as pro-town as I can be, I mean I don’t have as much time to be watching the game at all hours but I feel like I was making solid contributions with my observations early on, and as the game has wound down to fewer players I think I’m giving yall everything that you ask of me and more when I can.phoopes hasn't done anything really scummy to me but they also havent been particularly pro-town this game.

See what I mean? He has to pick a shot target (me or Tommy to win the game), and he sides with Tommy because Tommy is almost as lock town as Texas. Which redirects Texas’s shot to me, thus winning Celever and Evie the game.mmmmmok Tommy's town I'm just gonna pick a side here
Nah. I said it before in this post but just because I’m not tinfoiling doesn’t mean I’m maf. It just means I stay cool calm and collected even if that’s a “single digit percentage” like you say later in this postmostly bc of the zero re-eval which I just don't think comes from a town pov
