In this thread, you can sign up to manage in RBYPL VI. There will be eight teams and ten slots.

Guaranteed Slots:

I have significant managerial experience and have made playoffs every time I've managed a team tournament, and peestlies won ALTPL 3 and RBYOMPL while managing.

I have been playing in tournaments extensively for every single tier in this tour across this year and the one before, and am able to support all of them and played against many of the players who will sign up. I fully intend on going all in this year with that playerbase and tier knowledge, and my co-manager himself is a prominent player in the lowtier community, who managed his team in RBYOMPL to victory.

On top of our RBYWC berth, I have also won SCL, OUPL, and RoAPL as a manager, and have managed several WCoPs and SPLs. Billu and I have managed a couple of tournaments together now and have very deep RBY knowledge.

I am for OU5 and Bo3.

Why should the Hosting Team pick you?: I have had success as a player in the past (top 16 RBY Circuit in 2022, Grand Slam I top 8) and have played all 5 editions of RBYPL. As a manager, I made playoffs 2/2 in RoAPL with the Pyrite Town Pichus alongside starry, including 1 win. I have a good understanding of the playerbase of most tiers and have played most of the tiers in the tour at a decent enough level to offer support.

My captain registration has been revoked.
I've been seriously asked to remove my team logo.
The person asking me this isn't responsible.
I still want to say that Smogon is really in decline...refusing logos just because an AI can't do it is ridiculous.I think that energy would be better spent listening more to the community.
Like so many others, I've said my goodbyes and will no longer participate in their tournaments, which are always doing absurd things to annoy people.I thank the rby leaders and the rby community.

As managers, we led the Tauros Titans to the semifinals of the RBYOMPL playoffs.

Shane was a member of last year’s championship-winning RBYPL team (Magmars) as well as the ALTPL title-winning team (Dusclops). They also competed in the Random Battle Extension League (Dragapults) and represented Team USNE in the RBY World Cup.

Zpice has garnered experience in PetMods Premier League and ZUPL as well as qualifying to the playoffs of RBY Grand Slam.

Together, we combine proven managerial success, deep knowledge of all RBY tiers, and a strong connection to the player community.

Our goal is to build a winning franchise grounded in positivity and relentless determination throughout the tournament.

Me and Kaz founded the Wartortles two years ago, subscribing to a unique ethos: helping new players break into OU while driving progress in the lower tiers. Last year, after Kaz deciding to retire from managerial duties, it only made sense to continue the project with Nicole - the Wartortle ethos is what we believe RBYPL should stand for, and it’s what we’ve delivered for two years running, suceeding in bringing a lot of new talent to the spotlight, as well as sparking considerable progress into lower tier metagames. And this year, we're yet again looking forward to continuing our iconic franchise.

Both me and Nicole have firmly cemented ourselves as established players, with many achievements to back up that statement - we have both competed for several years now at the highest level OU and the lower tiers have to offer, with results that receive widespread respect by the community. But beyond our results, what also makes us stand out is our desire to help others improve, as well as our ability to work together: it's more than old news to everyone in the RBY community at this point how well we get along and how much we do together.

Why should the Hosting Team pick you?: We're the newest and freshest faces on the block, and we promise to offer a hype showing. I have been seeing great success in UU with some rather interesting builds, while Gerbungis has been accomplishing even more of the same in Ubers. As a result, we have quite a lot to offer in terms of variety and expertise across the tiers.

Gerb and I intend to fuse into a mighty (but scrawny) powerhouse that keeps this unteam running at peak efficiency. Unlike Scyther though, we will pack plenty of coverage. Be afraid.
