Base 116 special attack with Specs or Throat Spray and Terastalization is enough to outright OHKO or 2HKO many Pokemon and nearly 2HKO any specially defensive wall that isn't Blissey.
252+ SpA Tera Ground Yanmega Tera Blast (80 BP) vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Clodsire: 192-228 (41.4 - 49.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252+ SpA Yanmega Bug Buzz vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Reuniclus: 162-192 (38.2 - 45.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO (Reuniclus does nothing back)
252+ SpA Choice Specs Tinted Lens Tera Bug Yanmega Bug Buzz vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Zapdos: 328-386 (102.1 - 120.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Tinted Lens Yanmega Bug Buzz vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Corviknight: 126-150 (31.5 - 37.5%) -- 88.4% chance to 3HKO (on a 4x resisted Pokemon???)
252+ SpA Choice Specs Tinted Lens Yanmega Bug Buzz vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Toxapex: 126-150 (41.5 - 49.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
Don't even get me started on the flinchaxxing with Air Slash.
I want Yanmega banned.
Just gonna point out that tera bug buzz literally does more to clod than tera ground blast, so I don't see the point of running that lol. In fact this calc might be the reason why all clods I've seen in this meta were running lefties or black sludge:
252+ SpA Choice Specs Tinted Lens Tera Bug Yanmega Bug Buzz vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Clodsire: 214-254 (46.2 - 54.8%) -- 61.3% chance to 2HKO
252+ SpA Choice Specs Tinted Lens Tera Bug Yanmega Bug Buzz vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Clodsire: 214-254 (46.2 - 54.8%) -- 9.4% chance to 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery
Altho it's not like clod can do anything back except get a suicide toxic off...
Either way, pokebilities is one of my favorites metagames!! I got
rank 1 with 0 losses and I wanted to talk a little bit about the team I used:

@
Light Clay
Ability: Snow Cloak
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
-
Aurora Veil
- Freeze-Dry
- Encore
- Moonblast
Veil is a style I like to use in extremely offense oriented metas like Pokebilities. Sure, there are few popular defensive mons here and there like clodsire which gets the powerful combo of Wabsorb + Unaware or Clef which gets the absolutely disgusting combo of Magic Guard + Unaware + Cute Charm (which by the way, I could definitely use on this team with a cosmic power calm mind set, but I just don't out of respect for human life LOL), but most of the big winners of Pokebilities are offensive monsters like Yanmega. So to facilitate their use, I'm going with classic veil. Atale's ability combo of Snow Warning + Snow Cloak is not especially noteworthy, but it may save your hide once in a while lol

@
Choice Specs
Ability: Speed Boost
Tera Type: Bug
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Bug Buzz
- Air Slash
- Psychic
- U-turn
In my opinion,
the throat spray set is kind of a bait. Most of the time, you want to hit hard right away and can't afford 1 turn of slacking. With specs, leading Yanmega can sometimes win the game straight up if your opponent predicted the lead match up wrong (for example, they lead Pelipper and now have to take at least 1 death in the face of tera bug buzz). There is also usually very little reason to click something else than tera bug buzz, so the additional flexibility offered by the throat spray set is kind of a moot point. Air Slash lets you hit Soundproof Kommo-O, and Psychic deals with Neutralizing Gas Weezing-Galar. U-Turn is there but I think I only clicked it once or twice during my whole run. It's only useful in a scenario where you lead Yanmega and get counterlead by something that is slower but threatens to kill you back (Magnezone for example). This pokemon is definitely the face of Pokebilities, and I'm not sure if it should be banned or not, but it's been REALLY good for me.

@ Life Orb
Ability: Cute Charm
Tera Type: Rock
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Tail Slap
- Bullet Seed
- Rock Blast
- Tidy Up
Another often overlooked monster of this tier, the combination of Skill Link + Technician gives Tail Slap an absolutely monstrous effective BP of 188 (stronger than boomburst...) before STAB is applied. You NEED veil for this guy to be ever be able to set up Tidy Up, but there are a lot of situations where you can just come in on a slower mon and immediately threaten a KO. Bullet Seed and Rock Blast are pretty good coverage, both reaching the same BP as Tail Slap, which lets you hit extremely hard even neutrally and with no stab (for example, +1 bullet seed is a guaranteed kill on bulky Glimmora, off the top of my head). It's also very reliable hazard control, which this team otherwise lacks !

@ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type:
Bug
EVs: 196 HP / 252 SpA / 60 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 20 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Thunderclap
- Dragon Pulse
- Calm Mind
Yes I know, what is this guy doing here?? He doesn't get any benefit in the Pokebilities tier, having only 1 ability, but he's still as strong and reliable as he is in OU, especially with veil boost giving it an easier time to set up. The speed EVs are made so that you always outspeed adamant Kingambit (but I don't know how relevant that really is here).

@ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
Tera Type:
Normal
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Facade
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch
- Swords Dance
The other star of this tier!! Even with quick feet, you only hit a speed tier of 344 which is all things considered not that fast, but it's still enough to be a headache to deal with for a lot of teams. After tera normal, Facade will easily break through almost anything. It's not quite as strong as Ursaluna, but strong enough to annihilate any stall team that might try to stand in your way.

@ Leftovers
Ability: Defiant
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Atk / 12 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Kowtow Cleave
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Swords Dance
You thought Kingambit was strong before? Now you cannot leverage intimidate against it. Good luck.

Have fun!! Btw, I'm in support of suspecting
Yanmega and
Clefable :)
