Hi All!

There is evidence available which is credible enough for us to believe a copy is out in the wild.

It comes as no surprise we are expecting game info within the next 24-48 hours if this rumour is true. Please keep to reputable sources for data dumps.

Altissimo Will be posting immediately and gathering information if anything happens while I am offline.

I am hoping that this will not happen until at least tomorrow evening, but at least we will be prepared with a thread if anything does happen earlier than that.

I'll also be collating information that I see anywhere as well.

EDIT: So apparently the day 1 patch wasn't encoded like normal preloads... So we now have some data. I'll be adding data to the OP which is posted in this thread for now and expanding my search later on when I have access to my proper accounts.

I run a Pokémon website where I'm doing my best to chronicle lots of random data stuff about most of the games in the series. This includes stuff like locations of wild Pokémon, items, and Trainers, wild Pokémon encounter tables as they are represented in the game data (as opposed to the "combine into 1 rate per Pokémon" style that other sites do, although I have the option to choose that available on all pages), random Pokédex completion documents and short-form Professor Oak-challenge-style guides, pages that contain the location of every available Pokémon, and more. I also boast what are, to my knowledge, the only plaintext explanations of random mechanics like Pokéwalker item and Pokémon tables and Grand Underground spawn documentation.

As you might imagine, I have a vested interest in getting data mines for encounters, Trainer and item data, Pokédex data, and other odd mechanics onto my site eventually. However, I am of course only one person, and in several years of working on this site close to daily I'm still far from being at the completion point I want to be at.

My website is an open-source GitHub project, meaning anyone with a GitHub account can submit pull requests. While I have a page on my site that will collect all the data dumps and other documentation projects I find useful/relevant, I just want to share this in the hopes that it might encourage some people to potentially put their findings in my project directly via a PR and then link to it off my site. I'm not interested in trying to take credit for any dumps by doing so - which would largely defeat the spirit of it being open-source - but rather I encourage it because I generally think storing information gathered by the community in a website is better for long-term viability than anything else, and I've got space to allow someone to make something if they want.

Nonetheless, I'll be monitoring this thread as the information blitz progresses and posting links to posts on this thread on the page linked above if I find them interesting/useful (and if the same info isn't already on my site). As much as anything I want to just create a compendium of data - even if that means acknowledging that someone else's format is better than mine and linking to them, instead. :)

Thanks for reading.

According to Kaphotics mega stone data has been found for Zeraora, Heatran and Darkrai
also according to SciresM the mega raichu stones are not in this, so whatever these are they are most likely not DLC

perhaps something like the paradox virizion and suicune that was in the scarlet/violet files but released later?
perhaps a save data reward for other nintendo switch pokemon game save data?

I don't understand how Twitter/X works. I can't find these posts on the accounts page, but googling it brings them up.

But am excited to see those three megas. But really, they didn't need them. They were already good. Would have been nice to see if megas were used on Pokes that were neglected or irrelevant for battling.

Is there a good place to follow leaks that aren't twitter? That website never updates what users are posting, seems like it only shows posts from 3-6 years back. When it does load something newer, it just locks your account. Been around for 15 something years and they still can't figure out how to make it display new information directly. Never seen it work a single day in my life. No idea why people use it... you can never find any information worth looking for. Utterly useless site, and always has been.

Twitter is basically only usable if you have an account and it forces it to display things in chronological order. After I closed mine I just awit for other people to post them, like is happening here.

Yeah every time I log in it gets auto restricted. I only used it maybe 5-6 years ago because it was a good way to get customer service from a company which I don't even recall. That along with discord and blue sky need to die in a dumpster fire.

Well at least this place still exists.

in a reply they also say

"You'll notice in the screenshot that there are 19 missing moves between Magical Torque and the brand new move - these are all of the new moves introduced in SV's DLC. Similar to Legends: Arceus missing some SWSH DLC data, this game was forked from SV prior to any paid DLC work."
Going back to this a moment, I assume the move is meant as a replacement for Light of Ruin. Kind of like Take Heart for Heart Swap and Lunar Blessing for Lunar Dance in L:A. Though, kind of weird to replace a move that should still work about the same in the new system and also a move that technically didn't exist for actual use until now.

It's also a bit surprising to me there's no other new moves. I wasn't on board with the idea some folks had of all the new megas getting one or the idea of going mega getting new moves, but I did kind of expected there to be a couple new ones. Even L:A had a couple of more general purpose new moves

maybe light of ruin turns into this if eternal floette gets a mega?

yeah I hope there are actually new moves that are somehow not included in this but maybe they are saving those for the DLC.

Hmm... This could work:
SWSH - Zeraora
BDSP/LA - Heatran and Darkrai (which gets which is largely arbitrary)
SV - Diancie

Zera's the only one without a thematically fitting game to be tied to but ah well

I imagine the work that would've gone into new moves was instead used on revamping old ones for the new combat system

Just letting you know that the links in this post go to local URLs, not a huge issue but a quick fix to note.

if there's no new moves then the mega chesnaught swinging its hammer/axe animation is probably just literally wood hammer lol

linking cord apparently not in the files

all the old megas are in except for rayquaza (and primal kyogre and groudon)
dragon ascent is in the files? but not usable? but rayquaza may or may not be?

Are there data dumps showing the list of returning Pokemon? Shame about those three though. They were mega evolutions with an asterisk.

We did get shiny Zeraora as a gift for beating raids in swsh dlc, so I guess it would kind of fit.

come on, GameFreak, if you're gonna go giving megas to a bunch of mythicals and legendaries, the dlc better introduce mega Marshadow. Legends ZA... Zenith form... something something profit?

the three signature moves of these Zeraora, Heatran and Darkrai are not in there which makes me think that this list is missing stuff from what will actually be in the main release

the signature moves of latias and latios are also not in here as usable despite their mega stones being in these files
