Introduction:
Bet you guys thought I was done huh, yeah that’s right not only did I return but I went undercover to experiment and see how fast I could get past 85.0% GXE while also being rusty as shit and having no outside help whatsoever, which apparently only takes two days if ur really locked in lol. Anyways, I’m here to share what team I used to accomplish this feat (which also doubles as a peak since I accidentally hit #2 on the ladder in the process, shoutouts to Shikuleo for continuously gatekeeping the #1 spot), and honestly I’d appreciate any advice for the squad since I low-key think it could be a bit better. At the same time I used nothing but this team for the whole grind, so basically 1000-2000 ELO, so I guess it can’t be that bad right…? Anyways, I thought Ghost spam could be p strong in this meta so I made this squad to give it a whirl, so les get into it fr.

Proof of Peak:
The Team:
Misty (Araquanid) @ Custap Berry
Ability: Water Bubble
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 SpA
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sticky Web
- Surf
- Endeavor
- Endure
Today we just using the classic Endure + Endeavor revenge combo set with Surf for consistent damage, since Swords Dance

usage isn’t too high right now. Basic set overall, 40 Defense EVs and Max HP investment lets u live two Ceasless Edges from

and allows you to retaliate with Endeavor on the second turn. Max Special Attack investment has been chosen as well to hit

and Assault Vest

for as much accurate damage as possible, since it’s pretty rough to deal with for about half my team without giving up Tera. Not much to say here it’s the most basic set of all time.
Promise (Iron Treads) @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
- Steel Beam
- Rapid Spin
I’ve used this exact set before on a similar RMT so imma try to keep the description blunt lol.

is only here over

for one reason: because this team is really bad into lead

and cause we need a rocks setter and spinner that doesn’t let

and opposing

come in for free. Thankfully tho the trade off isn’t too terrible as

makes up for the loss in power by reliably setting up rocks and absolutely destroying the hopes and dreams of

and

users attempting to spin webs away. I’ve opted for a special set to anti lead

since it’s getting increasingly hard to tell whether they’re running Focus Sash, Red Card, or Power Herb now just based on team structure, and because the Earth Power + Steel Beam OHKOs offensive

variants. Timid with Max Speed investment has been chosen over Modest in order to outpace Taunt

leads, which have been running Red Card more and more as of late and really messes with leading

against such teams. Screens

has also surged in usage lately for some reason so having a Timid nature is nice for that as well, plus we have two Ghost types so 2HKOing

isn’t too important anyways. Tera Ghost is especially important on this guy as well in order to block Rapid Spin from

if they happen to switch in on u settin up Stealth Rocks, which can happen more then u think lol. Overall a very underrated utility partner for

that helps the rest of our team sweep.
Trouble (Kingambit) @ Black Glasses
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Kowtow Cleave
- Iron Head
Literally the most basic and old

set of all time, the team needed more power to push through fatter teams so I’ve opened for Tera Dark and Black Glasses for maximum damage with Kowtow Cleave and Sucker Punch, and Iron Head for Fairy types. Adamant nature because I’m a greedy bastard and this is a webs team. We also don’t need to run Tera Ghost for emergencies against

because we have two Ghost types. Idk what else I’m supposed to say here it’s

what else were we expecting.
Goddess (Enamorus) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Contrary
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Mystical Fire
- Healing Wish
With Tera Fairy, Choice Specs, and a Modest Nature along with a monstrous special attack stat,

is able to unleash the strongest Moonblast AND Special Fairy move in the entire game (that’s legal in OU at least lol). Earth Power is here for important coverage against Steel and Poison types, in particular

and

, which this team struggles with. Mystical Fire is there as an emergency coverage option for

, and Healing Wish allows you to bring back a statuses and weakened teammate from the brink of death and wreak havoc once more. In particular, Healing Wish allows for

and

to muscle past mons that would attempt to status is like

and

, and then come back completely healthy and ready to sweep. Tera Fairy also has the added bonus of flipping the matchup against

teams by granting

a speed boost after being effected by Court Changed Sticky Webs and blast the opponent into smithereens.
Nocturne (Ceruledge) @ Life Orb / Focus Sash
Ability: Weak Armor
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 140 HP / 252 Atk / 116 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Bitter Blade
- Poltergeist
- Tera Blast / Close Combat
Now here’s the exciting part, I’ve always wanted to try out

so it thought this would be the perfect opportunity to do so. I’ve opted for a more bulky set here in order to better set up on threaten after popping Tera Fairy like

, as well as to reduce the impact of Life Orb recoil, if you’re opting for Focus Sash though u can just go max speed it doesn’t matter too much. 116 Speed EVs and an Adamant nature is enough for maximum power as well as for out speeding

and

after Sticky Webs. Bitter Blade is a very balanced move, and Poltergeist is there to just nuke the shit out of a lot of fat mons like

and

after Tera. Now for the interesting part, I haven’t seen anyone do this yet (odds are the based lord CTC probably came up with it already), but Tera Fairy Blast grants u practically unwallable coverage that goobs the shit out of most

and Heavy Duty Boots spam balance teams. It’s also really helpful for nailing offensive threats as well, notably

,

, and

if they have Booster Energy as their item. Close Combat is also an option for the Focus Sash variant but I would still keep Fairy as the Tera type to have a better matchup against most

, especially the boots version. Yeah overall really amazing Mon for HO teams that I finally got to try out for myself.
Bewitched (Pecharunt) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Poison Puppeteer
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Malignant Chain
- Shadow Ball
- Destiny Bond
Alright now for the grand finale or whatever, we got ourselves a

as our primary spinblocker and secondary special sweeper. Air Balloon helps you come in on any

or

for free, and I’ve opted for Tera Ghost and Nasty Plot for maximum Ghost type and to help weaken mons that could check

(this is a Ghost spam team after all). Tera Blast is also an option but since

is already using Tera Blast Fairy I decided not to stack up on Tera hogs. Malignant Chain is a broken move. Timid nature helps u outspeed

with Heavy Duty Boots. As for the last slot (shoutouts to
RZA for the tech fr), I’ve opted for Destiny Bond to help take down some of the mons that threaten out

, like

,

, and

if you decide not to burn Tera on

in some games.

’s Poison typing is also helpful for absorbing Toxic Spikes against certain bulky teams after it’s Air Balloon gets popped. Would recommend trying Nasty Plot

out if ur bored, very solid support and sweeper at the same time.

Conclusion:
If you made it this far thanks for checking my RMT out lol, I’m a lil bit upset I didn’t hit #1 but at the same time I haven’t played this game in like half a year so I’ll still gladly take #2 with a decently high GXE, and I think this team was a good step to coming back to this game for me. Shoutouts to
glass shadows for checking out my replays and rating my gameplay and shoutouts to
RZA again for getting me back in the game fr, couldn’t have done it without them, even if none of them actually helped with the teambuilding process. Anyways yeah that’s all I got, ban

and good night tristate area.
