it is genuinely ridiculous to me that people are believing "this happened because of rng" or tommys assertations that "he is too good of a player for this to happen" like 1) scumteam had all of yesterday to fabricate a story that would explain this away and 2) tommy is obviously going to say whatever he needs to to get out of the situation. the fact of the matter is that you just have to ignore it and vote him anyway because the damage is already done

We don’t know, it could’ve been someone else using the role phoopes only knows he targeted some unidentified second person which could be me, whether another designated it as me (or if it even is me) we don’t know

To be 100% clear since there seems to be some confusion (which may have been cleared up?):

I used my role on psy.
This means that psy's action CANNOT be redirected. It can be blocked (but it seemingly wasn't).
Thus, since psy's action did not fail, that means that if he targeted Bliz as claimed, the action would've went through on Bliz, and would not have been redirected onto anyone else.

Is that clear

not understanding why the conversation within the last few pages explains away the conflict with tommy. my read of it was that phoopes empowered me, which impacts my role, and not tommys, and got an extra message for ? reason but did not target a second person. anyone who has been targeting my accusation just because "tommy seems town" is either naive or mafia with him. im not changing my stance

i think the misunderstanding is we're assuming the extra message is him being made by some other role to use his ability again (presumably targeting tommy). i dont disagree that this is like not confirmed but i dont really know what else it could ever be

i guess you getting a success message is kind of weird. maybe it worked but didnt affect this empowered neighbourizer but it did affect something else?
