Welcome to the 2025 BW OU Circuit Championship! Congratulations to the sixteen players who made it this far after a full year of tournaments! At the end of this tournament, the winner will claim both the defending champion ribbon for the BW Circuit and their choice of a custom avatar, inactive username, or name color change on PS.

Tournament Rules

• This Championship is a standard seeded single elimination, Bo3 BW OU tournament.
• Matches are to be played publicly on smogtours. All replays are mandatory.
• General tournament rules and regulations can be found here.
• VMs are the main thing that matters for activity. Read this scheduling guide.
• Activity win guidelines can be found here.

BW Battle Clauses

• Evasion Abilities Clause: Evasion abilities are banned
• Evasion Items Clause: Evasion items are banned
• Evasion Moves Clause: Evasion moves are banned
• OHKO Clause: OHKO moves are banned
• Sleep Moves Clause: Sleep-inducing moves are banned
• Species Clause: Limit one of each Pokémon
• Timer Clause: If a player exhausts the timer, they lose
• Endless Battle Clause: Forcing endless battles is banned
• Moody Clause: Moody is banned
• Weather + Speed Ability Clause: Teams are not permitted to include Pokémon with the abilities Drought and Drizzle with Pokémon with the abilities Chlorophyll and Swift Swim. Players may enter a battle with one or the other
• Gems Clause: Gem items are banned
• Swagger Clause: Swagger is banned
• Baton Pass Stat Clause: No Baton Passer may have a way to boost its stats

egalvanc is a great player, but tizio showed how dominant and good he is in his seasonal and GC runs, heads will roll

Monai vs magialice

hard to bold against monai, after a bwpl win carried by dababy2 aka mr big aka da diddy 2, he will try to claim his spot as the circuit champion. alice got in the circuit and will make the best out of this chance, last year she was the closest to beat the crowned champion (the sith lord himself), and her play has only gotten better. im rooting for her

have to bold the two times bw cup winner, raceding can still pull off the upset, it will be very hard seen the level of play and experience of gtg

victoriasdelibird surprised me with a great last chance, but cow has got this. im ready to see some tomfoolery in action

Ale Duncan vs harshest

damn, this is an early final. wow. my father vs the shadow lord, id rather spray lemon in my eyes than seeing these two battling it out in the round of 16. hard to bold, two of my favs to win it all, the winner will depend a lot on motivation and time they have too. bolding ale but it’s really a coin toss

Exiline vs Indulge in dreams

exiline has showed good adaptability and is the more experienced player, after a great cup + classic and rcop run, i favor him here

monchooo vs OmBrArch

i love monchoo’s style (more in dpp tho tbh) but i think ombrarch will have better odds of winning, he is very underrated and he will bounce back after an unlucky bwpl, can go either way

Wesleyy vs Zokuru

wesley had a great LT (even with a questionable quiver dance vs sergio) and showed to be good in bw, i think he will be able to win if he can counter zokuru’s defensive style effectively
