not to be pretentious but yall should really read this… C.H.A.T. (Come Here for All Talk)

it's so fucking weird how many clanker lovers and gooners are in relationships, some of them even being married with kids. I genuinely feel like there are more of them than there are isolated and stereotypically lonely people in these spaces
(DoublePost)
Yeah I don't know either. Like I don't even understand the appeal. Ignoring the fact that it's obviously sad as shit to even HAVE an AI girlfriend, the responses it gives are so dull. You can feel the AI dripping from it, hardly even human. Me, I'm lonely as shit and resorting to a generated textbot as a girlfriend will be the LAST thing I do. I'd become an extrovert sooner than the time I fall in love with an AI.

Side note: Why do we call this AI shit "clanker"? Chatbots aren't even mechanical! THEY DON'T EVEN "CLANK"! #badslurdesign.

it originates from star wars. clone troopers developed a slur for battle droids during the clone wars i think, called them "clankers" cause yknow robots. in real life, with the advent of stuff like ai chatbots, a couple people started jokingly using "clanker" as a term referring to ai stuff. it originally started as just a star wars joke. then people started taking it way too seriously and it just became the irl robot slur i guess

moral of the story: clanker is a battle droid slur first and a chatgpt slur second

if you put the words "i promise this is an interesting question" in your thumbnail and your name is not jan Misali, I am not clicking on your video
It's like the hbomberguy "X is Genius/Garbage, and Here's Why" style of titles. That titling formula worked for him because it was distinctive. If someone else invokes it, rather than coming up with their own style, it primes me to expect a derivative and unadventurous analysis.

idk i liked it when bkc used a ton of "; here's why" i think it was funny
If you put "here's why" in your video title you deserve to have someone make a "saved you a click" xitter gimmick account dedicated specifically to summarizing your videos so nobody has to watch them

idk how you could think "BW OU is Good Now; Here's Why; Finchinator No Help Whatsoever, Uses Stall Team. Sad (Yet, Expected)!" is anything but a world-class youtube video title
This is funny because it reads as a parody of a bunch of different kinds of YouTube video title at the same time. I refer to more serious titles paying homage to the style, which is how I've tended to see it used more often.

the bkc discourse reminds me

this is such a weirdly... beautiful? video? Like he filmed the city scenery without showing any faces. People are either shown from the back or their faces are not discernible through the cameras blur and the way BKC moves. There's just the street he walks down, the wind, the whispers that cannot be discerned, there's the question as to why BKC is in Prague that's not answered at any point. We don't even know where he is going. Just that he's going somewhere and that he's publicly ranting about something that's exclusively an internet topic
