SPOILERS! Legends ZA Data Dumps - Adding Info to OP

Bulbapedia has not updated yet, what did they do to Comet Punch? 25 BP?

EDIT-- ok Serebii has it, and its BP is now... 30. Double the BP of the other multihit moves in ZA. What lmao.
EDIT2-- oh hey, Bonemerang is back too, 55 BP per hit now.
I wonder if it is just for Z-A but if it is also 30 in future games, that makes a total of a whopping 150 with all five hits, regardless of it’s accuracy. Normal means no hitting stuff super effectively, but hot diggidy dog that’s one way to buff Comet Punch!

For Bonemerang, 55 x 2 makes an effective 110 BP for Bonemerang, so that can hit harder than Earthquake while breaking sashes at least.

this is why mega garchomp z is event exclusive because its event is going to involve volo coming back and having mega garchomp z and he gives you the mega stone at the end of the fight

Oh well let's see what they did to Razor Wind, notoriously bad move that no one was sad to see go. Maybe it's really strong, or comes out immediately, or is flying type!

Razor Wind Normal 12 40 The user attacks with numerous blades made of wind. This move has a heightened chance of landing a critical hit, but it takes some time to carry out.

ah....
okay so I know I replied to this already but a side quest had me fight a multi hit trainer with it. Turns out its 40 per blade, which i saw at least 3 razor blades flying towards me, so I suppose its a high crit multi hit Sp.A? dunno who'd you'd use it on still.

I glanced at the Leg/Myth page on Serebii.
It seems like Meloetta is a "special scan" possibility, which makes me think that the swords of justice, keldeo and maybe the Lati are also available that way. Would feel a smidge odd to have everyone else available but not them. The Lati in particular, considering the alternative is you can..get their stones? But not the actual Pokemon??

I also noticed that you can get a Meltan and a Melmetal. As 2 separate quests.
That's...I mean it's nice that you can get both without Go but please just come up with a normal way to evolve these things. Please.

It seems like all the mythicals except Darkrai are DLC post-game, which is disappointing but not surprising. The DLC is already post main game and has level 100+ Pokemon, it just feels stingy to lock anything other than Hoopa to postpostgame.

And Mega Lucario Z is also dlc postgame? Geeze, GameFreak, let us use the new toys during the main story!!

If there's anything from the open world game design philosophy that I wish GameFreak would go for it's making nearly every mon available from the get-go if you're willing to go a little bit out of your way to get it.

Well, here's to hoping HOME compatibility drops in early January. Maybe by that time they'll have also released the Garchompite Z sidequest... which will hopefully not be restricted to dlc postgame...

Have not even started it yet. Are all the legendary/mythical still shiny locked?

I also agree not all the interesting Pokemon should be post game. Yeah you can do another play through... once Home is updated, but it is always nice to be able to go through the story with some different types. Too many times do I go through the story with similar Pokemon. Especially with this being more of a side game without any new types, it would be a great opportunity to go through the story with things that are normally post game.

Most of them are. Serebii doesn’t list Latias, Latios, Cobalion, Terrakion, or Virizion among the Shiny-locked Pokémon though, so they might not be.
Though, conversely, if they aren't in the shiny lock list, they COULD just not be in the game. I do feel like that special research thing would be the method to find them, but...

Going to call what is hopefully a safe shot here: I think Gen 10 (either base game or more likely DLC) will have at least Victini & Zarude obtainable

Thanks to Mega Dimensions, across the Switch games we can obtain every Mythic "permanently" aside from Celebi, Deoxys, Victini & Zarude. Expanding outside the Switch games, you can get Deoxys & Celebi with a few asterisks, but right now the other two? Only ones left.

Sir I am legally obliged to warn you that excessive doses of copium can be lethal.

Please cease inhaling copium, it's dangerous.
look there has to be a reason why they chose mega garchomp z of all these new dlc megas to be event exclusive. it's not a mythical like diancie or a legendary like mewtwo, so there has to be a reason why it was chosen. PLUS next month will be the four year anniversary of legends arceus's release. I know I sound like a crazy conspiracy theorist right now but there are just too many coincidences
