I still remember the day my third child was born. It was the day of the last Pokemon game I ever watched, when I saw BLUNDER SANTANA and WhiteQueen go at it in the finals in 2015. Oh, what a doozie! I still think about that expertly-played Baton Pass Scolipede in the deciding game years later. Are either of them still around? An old pal of mine told me BLUNDER SANTANA just goes by "blunder" now, and has a successful TV show or something like that? That's great to hear, sport! Oh, how this old fart would love to see you two rematch in this tournament, because it was always my favourite one...
As your old man took a trip down memory lane, I made a list of my favourite players from when I was young. I used to watch so many of these games, just thrilling competition. Are any of them still around? It would be so great to see them come back to put on a show, to show all you young whippersnappers a thing or two! Let's see now...
gotei(13) hyorinmaru...I always felt bad, because you never got that trophy! Everyone else who made multiple finals back in the day picked one up, but I guess you left too soon. It's never too late.
Loki...talk about a legend of the game! You joined this website before I got married, and now I have three beautiful children and you have two trophies! All that's missing is that red trophy to complete the collection.
Eo Ut Mortus...when I left you hadn't played in a bit, and I never saw you get revenge for your last season. No one was better in those first two years of SPL. Come back to show them how it's done?

ToF...now we're going to more recent years, because I still remember that finals win against Malekith in 2012. That Calm Mind Blissey? Expertly played! Keep the flame lit for the old timers.

Bluewind...I loved that Smogon Tour 10 format, and that series was full of haymakers! If either of them come back, oh boy, you're all in for a treat.
Tamahome...you might already have this trophy, but nobody played Diamond and Pearl like you. A little bit of prep, a little bit of support, you can show those newfangled kids something impressive.
The Grand Babido...felt like you did well in every tournament back in the day. Kids these days and their work ethic, they don't understand the value of consistency like that.
WhiteQueen...oh, I remember that Official Smogon Tournament ten years ago. I bet you could come back and compete on the ladder nowadays, maybe you win a second red trophy in style?
Welp, that's the list, I think! Hopefully I didn't forget anyone, and hopefully I didn't list anyone who's gotten themselves wrapped up in trouble. I have to go make dinner for the family now, but hopefully I'll see some of the old guard in a few weeks. Remind the kids today to respect their elders!
