Edit: I had a question about Wide Lens, but i found the answer, and I'll post it incase anyone read my previous post and was curious:
New Accuracy = (Old accuracy)*110%
Meaning, if it was 50 accuracy, the new accuracy is 55, NOT 60.

Repeating question: Not exactly a battle-related question, but has it been proven by how much throwing a rock/bait improves/hurts your catch rate and increases/decreases flee rate in the Safari Zone?

I asume its the 6+ 6- scale for stat ups and downs.

Rock increases chances to catch by 1 and flee by 1. And Bait decreases flee by 1.

In breeding or in SRing a legend?

In SRing a legend everything changes

In breeding, the nature, gender, and ability don't change. Only the IVs.

Your correct, but I think the ability does change.

Nope, when you save right in front of the old man when he has an egg and then get it from him, hatch it and check sex, nature and ability they always stay the same no matter how many times you soft reset.
The only thing that changes are the IVs.

Posting this here, it'll get more responses (I hope).

Is there an Action Replay Code for Rebattling the Regis in emerald?

I found this on this thread:

although the guy says they are for gameshark, are they compatible with AR? was it you asking for the codes there?

I don't have a dugtrio and I want to breed one, if I use the encounter code just to catch a dugtrio (no iv's, nature, nothing else) for a parent to breed would it come up as hacked?

Technically yes it'd be considered hacked, but I don't think anyone would really care as long as you're not forcing good IVs. The children wouldn't show up as hacked (in a hack check anyway), not quite sure about the poke itself.

Alright, are you sure? Cause if this is right I'm going to start breeding diglet.

actually I just saw the looking for specific pokemon thread, maybe I can just get one from someone who has an older game to be safe

Can't you just catch it, I'm sure it appears in the sandstorm route naturally without pokeradar.

If you're really that concerned, why not just go over to route 228 and catch a normal wild one?

I think those are Encounter codes for Gameshark.

I have an AR GBA, I don't think they will work anyway

Can you give me a link to one of those? xD

I really don't think it exists...x.x

The gamespot forums sticky for pokemon emerald codes is this:
http://www.gamespot.com/gba/rpg/pokemonemerald/show_msgs.php?topic_id=m-1-24990707&pid=921905
it seems to be closed but maybe you can PM the topic creator since he mentions that he contributed with the codes as well as these people: Gatorshark, Inky, Labmaster.
I think there are other forums but unfortunately codejunkies doesn't have forums in their page as I thought they would and they don't have a code database for pokemon emerald with those codes either :S
It seems you will have to look for the people that make these codes if you want answers.

Could someone please explain the Sleep Clause in detail, adressing scenarios like these:

Does the Sleep Clause apply to ALL sleep-inducing moves, or just Spore/Hypnosis/Sleep Powder?

If, using Sleep Talk, you Psycho Shift your Sleep status from Rest to an opponent's pokémon and one of your opponent's pokémon is already asleep, does it activate the Sleep Clause?

If one of your opponent's pokémon is already asleep, and you use Yawn, and your opponent does not switch out, so his pokémon falls asleep, does that activate the sleep clause?

Yes, they induce sleep.

no, Slep Talk picks a random attack and if it lands on a sleep inducing attack, it can't be helped.

and yes, only pokemon on the opponent's team can be asleep. Except if that pokemon used Rest and is still asleep from it.
