Though this was my second warstory in a relatively short span of time, this was a very interesting, if short, uber battle with someone named hybridberp. He had previously challenged me to another uber battle, which he won in a rather close battle, 2-0 iirc. He then challenged me again, apparently bored, saying "best out of three". Since I've got nothing better to do, I accept. This is an interesting battle because he knows my entire team while he is using an entirely new team.
This was a pretty good battle, so he suggested that I write a warstory, and I figured I'd oblige.
Blissey_ODonnell's team
In no particular order.
Blissey_ODonnell sent out Latios.
hybridherp sent out Arceus.
The foe's Arceus transformed into the Fire type!
Fire Arceus? Erm, okay. It is later explained to me that he was trying to make an anti-lead, and Fire was for Metagross. Why he wanted to single out Metagross while exposing itself to others, I don't know, but apparently he had seen 'Gross lead often. Anyways, back to the battle. I didn't know what to expect, really, so I went ahead and used Draco Meteor. Of course, though,
Arceus used Ice Beam.
It's super effective!
Latios lost 40% of its health.
Latios was frozen solid!
This looks bad, but I promise you, the hax will even out in the end. I switched in Registeel on another Ice Beam, and figured he could survive a Judgement and set up Stealth Rocks. I am proven correct as he not only survives, but only takes about 50% from the hit, not even a 2HKO. <3 the Regifail. I figured if Registeel took so little, Lugia should be able to take the hit, no problem.
Blissey_ODonnell switched in Lugia.
Lugia is exerting its pressure!
Arceus used Judgment.
Lugia lost 27% of its health.
Lugia's leftovers restored its health a little!
Lugia restored 6% of its health.
I don't know what to expect, really, so I Reflect in case he switches to a Tyranitar or something, I guess. I can't really justify that move looking back, though. In any case, he stays in and Ice Beams me for 38% damage. I take a second Ice Beam with 15% remaining, and Roost. I fear that he will freeze if I continually stall with Roost, so I Whirlwind, and Palkia comes out. He knows my whole team, and I don't want to switch to anything else for fear of him predicting that, so I sacrifice Lugia, which becomes VERY important later on.
Blissey_ODonnell switched in Groudon.
I was hoping that this was a choiced Palkia, which would give me free set-up with Swords Dance. If it isn't, Groudon will take a heavy hit from Surf but will still be able to Sub down into Salac range, so Swords Dance it is.
hybridherp switched in Arceus.
The foe's Arceus transformed into the Fire type!
Pointed stones dug into Arceus.
Arceus lost 25% of its health.
Groudon used Swords Dance.
Groudon's attack was sharply raised.
The sun continues to shine.
He knew I packed SubSalac Groudon, so he sent out this on a predicted Swords Dance. If I'm running my calcs right, this should put Groudon into Salac Range...
Arceus used Grass Knot.
Oh no, I did NOT expect this, surely this will OHKO Groudon and end any chance of my sweep...
It's super effective!
Groudon lost 85% of its health.
Groudon's Salac Berry raised its speed!
Groudon used Earthquake.
It's super effective!
Arceus lost 75% of its health.
hybridherp's Arceus fainted.
Groudon's reflect wore off!
The sun continues to shine.
Excellent! Apparently he doesn't use a whole lot of SpA EVs. +2 Atk and +1 Spe means Groudon is ready to sweep. He sends out Mewtwo, possibly not noticing Salac, and is OHKO'd by an Earthquake. However, I haven't seen two of his Pokemon, so I sure hope he isn't packing a Lugia or even a...
hybridherp switched in Giratina.
Damn it. Giratina can easily soak up a +2 Groudon's Earthquake, and at 15% finish it off with a Dragon Claw. However, don't forget that the hax is going to even out...
Giratina is exerting its pressure!
Pointed stones dug into Giratina.
Giratina lost 12% of its health.
Groudon used Earthquake.
Giratina lost 49% of its health.
Giratina used Will-o-wisp
Giratina's attack missed!
The sun continues to shine.
Giratina's leftovers restored its health a little!
Giratina restored 6% of its health.
Yes! With Stealth Rocks down, Earthquake is now a KO. Palkia switched into an Earthquake and is KOed, so so far what he has left is a Giratina that's sure to die to Earthquake and an unknown Pokemon. As long as his last Pokemon isn't something that can threaten Groudon *hint hint*, I've got an assured sweep, right?
hybridherp switched in Mew.
What's Mew's usual set? stat-booster/Baton Pass/Taunt/Hypnosis. I guess I always thought Mew had Levitate, because instead of killing it with Earthquake I...
Groudon used Stone Edge.
Mew lost 65% of its health.
Mew used Transform!
Mew transformed into Groudon!

Mew's leftovers restored its health a little!
Mew restored 6% of its health.
O_O...O_O...O_O...
Mew used Earthquake.
Groudon lost 15% of its health.
Blissey_ODonnell's Groudon fainted.
The sun continues to shine.
Mew's leftovers restored its health a little!
Mew restored 6% of its health.
I'm still speechless. I'm actually going to be swept by my own Groudon. One thing that's interesting, though, Transform copies stat boosts?

Registeel lost 54% of its health.
Blissey_ODonnell's Registeel fainted.
hybridherp wins!
Not a long match, but a pretty exciting match for me, and seeing Mew sweep made it all the more enjoyable. Good game, hybridherp.
