Original idea (ADV OM Bonanza) by Regiboob . Big thanks to Joaf , Nootathotep , Yoshiblaze , MCOBSOK , and the rest of the ADV OMs Discord for showing interest and helping me get mods in a playable state (and thanks to the Pet Mod moderators for approving!)
Welcome to the ADV PM Bonanza! This is a single-elimination tournament featuring 4 ADV Pet/Solo mods.
Format & Rules
- This tournament will be Single Elimination, Best of Three, and employ the Homefield Advantage (HFA) format as follows:
- Each player has selected one PM to be their "home metagame".
- Every week, 1 PM will randomly be selected. This will be the tier for game 1 of each set. If the randomly selected tier has already been played this tournament, it will be re-randomised until a new tier is selected.
- The tier for game 2 will be the loser's "home metagame". If there is a game 3, then this will in the remaining player's "home metagame".
- Matches may be played either on the the surfnwob side server or on the Pet Mods server (Shadow Colo). The surfnwob server is useful for team building and is essential when playing ADV+, Hoennification, and Tradebacks. You can play Shadow Colo on either server. Make sure to play bo3s in Shadow Colo.
- Replays will be required throughout this tournament. Last time I checked, you have to download replays from Dragon Heaven, so make sure to post those.
- All general tournament rules apply.
- Some bans may happen mid-tour. Prepare yourselves. This is most likely with Hoennification, as it's insanely difficult to balance a meta from scratch with every mon like I've been doing. Currently we're suspecting Azelf, Feraligatr-Mega, Great Tusk, Keldeo, and Infernape.
