Hello. Why do people run DragonPulse on Heatran when they can just use Hp Ice? The only reason I see is to specifically take out Kingdra. Is there anything else?

Because Dragon pulse OHKO's every dragon in OU anyway, and has better coverage and power then HP Ice.
Question: Do evasion moves (Minimize, and accuracy lowering moves etc) affect certain-to-hit moves (such as Aura Sphere)?
I'm pretty sure thats the point of certain to hit moves, so they are certain to hit, regardless of evasion modifiers. However I'm not sure if the user of one has his accuracy lowered if they remain 100% accurate, I'm 99% sure they are, but always best to check.

What does Electrive's Cross Chop actually OHKO? Unless there is something I'm missing... I know it doesn't OHKO the standard Blissy anyway. Wouldn't it be better to run it with Brick Break, which is still a 2HKO against Blissy and has 100% accuracy? Or is it a matter of "Do as much damage as you freggen can because Electrive is going to die to just about any strong physical attack"?

Is Bronzong better with heatproof or levitate?

Levitate gives an immunity to ground and lets you switch into ground moves unharmed, but most people assume that Bronzong has levitate and don't even try to use Earth Quake on it. They go straight for flamethrower which will only do 50% damage if it has heatproof.

EDIT: Pagz, I am not completely sure, but I would say that cross chop is there because it is just a more powerful move that can OHKO a lot more things than Brick Break can. I wouldn't go by my answer though. This is just what I think.

da big blast, those moves are actually not certain-to-hit. They have 100% accuracy and are not affected by modifiers, but if you use aura sphere on a gengar, then you would not hit it. To put it short: It always hits, regardless of evasion modifiers, unless you use aura sphere on a ghost. I am not sure about dig, bounce, or fly though even though I assume that it would still miss.

I'd say Levitate is more useful considering ground moves(in particular, Earthquake) are more common and most people will expect you to have levitate but you can surprise them by switching it up by using Heatproof but once your opponent realizes this then Bronzong won't be switching into EQ's. I'd say that Heatproof is only useful for a surprise factor and nothing else, but it's really up to you which ability you want Bronzong to have.

My question that hasn't been answered yet is: What's the link to the IV Probabilities List or Could someone give me the link? Thanks:)

Okay, this is ridiculous, I don't understand EV training. Here is exactly what I did to my Bagon, why did it not get an effort ribbon/why are the EV's not correct.

All w/ Pokerus
Intended HP EV's: 6
Battled 3 Bidoofs

then...

Intended Speed EV's: 252
Gave 10 Vitamins
Battled 15 Starly's while holding Power Anklet
Battled 1 Starly without Power Anklet

then...

Intended Attack EV's: 252
Gave 10 Vitamins
Battled 16 (or 17?) Growlithes while holding Power Bracer

What did I do wrong? Please help this is killing me.

Thats happened to me also with my Lanturn and my Starmie, I thought I got max EVs but when I went to Sunyshore City she said that my pokemon needed to work a little harder. I don't understand this and after that I battled one more pokemon and went back and the same thing happened. Except w/ Starmie I battled like 12 more pokemon and still I didn't get an Effort Ribbon and I don't know what's up:(

TriDark - Why? ... Didn't work.

Fostmeister - I know. I'd rather do it right though.

Fuck this shit. Can someone help please?

Does it get the effort ribbon right after filling up its EV's or do I have to do something?

Is their any easy way to figure out the exact EVS you need for a certain pokemon to outspeed a certain base stat, without going overboard?

For example, If I wanted to Scarf an Adamant Weaville, I would want it to be able to outspeed scarfgar. How would I figure out the exact EVs to give it with someleftover for HP?

The easiest way (for me) is to load up shoddy battle, and use the team builder.

No I didn't, what's the "rule" on that? I leveled up via Rare Candy once or twice, but i only leveled up through exp once during the middle, let me try that...

... no ribbon. Why?

That's your problem. If you level up with Rare cany in the middle of EV training, ALL the Evs you had gained while on that level DO NOT cash in. God knows how many EVs you DID gain, but for sure it was not enough.
