If I breed a male Shiftry with Exposion with Exeggcute, will the resulting child know Explosion? Or is it only via TM that Exeggcute can learn Explosion?

Males can pass on TM moves (always been able to) so the offspring should know Explosion. (only in DP, remember!)
 
1: What defines a good lead? For instance, Gyarados is considered a good lead because it has Intimidate. So, does that mean that all Pokemon that have Intimidate make good leads? Or is it the fact that Intimidate allows Gyarados, and other Pokemon that have Intimidate for that matter, to be bulky? If that's the case, would a bulky Pokemon be considered a good lead?

2: Is it alright to lead a non-Sandstorm team with Tyranitar provided that Garchomp gets Sandstorm support and that the 3 of the remaining 4 Pokemon either have Leftovers recovery or are bulky? Or is it better to have Choice Band Heracross as the lead?

3: Is a Skarmory with Drill Peck and Whirlwind legal?
 
I'm trading for a Tangrowth with a terrible 3 HP and 21 Def. I plan on putting 252 evs into Special Attack. How would divide the remaining points to get the best defensive use out of him?
 
Lady Lilith, I suggest you post that in more detail on the Rate My Team (RMT) forum. Include natures, move lists, and ev spreads, so that people can understand more about what the various members of your team are supposed to do. At a glance I would say you lack Electric resists, you only really have Vileplume.

I''m merely mapping out what looks nice first because this is a team I'm making in my game, so there's no use to start breeding than change my mind halfway. The typings balance each other out alright, but it is disconcerting that Altaria and Phione tie for highest speed... I need to find a n adorable, yet speedy pokemon.
 
I have two questions:

1) My friend Lovell asked me this:

~If you Baton Pass Regigigas +6 in Speed and/or Attack does it's boosts get cut in half to +3?


2) I am currently breeding Tentacruels, which should be best for smogon:

~Timid for the Specs Set
~Hasty for a random/awesome Mix Set
 
Something that's been bugging me. Is it not possible to trade from Red/Blue to G/S, then from G/S to R/S...etc?

I'm probably a little delusional, but is there something that makes it impossible?
 
In the Battle Tower, if you're using a fully Ev'd poke @ level 50, does the game readjust its stats to include the full ev bonuses?
 
OmegaX has a Shuckle, unusable nature but great parent, forbidden has a Garchomp, johnXkid has a Dugtrio, someone just posted a Volbeat in the Look at what I bred thread, those are the only ones that spring to mind.
 
I SR'd the Eevee in Hearthome for a while, back until I got a decent natured one I could use in-game. So nope, it's not nature-locked.

And you can't trade from G/S/C to R/S/E; you cannot even connect a GBA to a GBC as far as I know, so nope :p Sorry.
