If the opposing Pokemon has higher defense, download increases the user's special attack by 1 stage. If the opposing Pokemon has higher special defense, download increases the user's attack by 1 stage.

Ah, I see, thanks for making that clear. So it would be best to bring it in on a physical wall.

Its not standard by any means but it has served me well.

So I'm assuming you're playing through the game on an emulator, then loading up the .SAV file it produces into Pokesav and creating an AR code to transfer all your pokemon to your legit game, correct?

The ROM itself does not go about producing and saving data any different than if you were playing a legit copy of the game. In fact, a ROM is just a copy of the legit version of the game. The problem with your method lies with Pokesav - if you use an AR to create pokemon, even if they originate from legitimate and non-hacked data, these pokemon will appear hacked (I'm not talking about anyone's subjective opinion here, I'm saying they will fail a hack check) when created on your legit game. The only way to do this without compromising the data of your pokemon would be to load the ROM's save file onto a flash cart and trade them to a legit game. Simply using an AR will not accomplish what you wish to accomplish.

The elemental punches are not available to Deoxys in D/P. So a GameStop Deoxys knowing them would be one of the most obvious hacks you could make.

Well I knew it would look like a hack, but I was wondering if it was fair that the gba ones can while the gstop can't. Anyway, thnx for clearing that up for me, I'll just use pursuit and rock slide instead.

Btw, some1 might wana fix up the CB set for deoxys now as the vast majority of them on the internet are now Gstop ones.

Or, you might want to keep the older, more effective sets up.

This is not a 'simple question', but more of a 'please give me your opinions'.

What Pokémon would you pass a +2 Speed +1 Atk boost to in a 3-vs-3 battle?

I was thinking Medicham, since it has enough destructive power to rip through teams in the 3vs3 Metagame, but I'm not sure it can take a hit. Any suggestions? Also, no Garchomp/Salamence/Tyranitar/Metagross/Legendaries allowed.

My personal favorite sweeper, Marowak. With some EV investment in HP especially, it takes hits like a champ, and can dish out big damage back. It's a perfect recipient of the +2 speed and can easily sweep whatever your opponent has left. Since you'll be passing attack, SD isn't particularily needed, so there'll be no dilemma about Double Edge vs. Fire Punch. He is my main heavy sweeper on my Trick Room team, and he is absolutely fantastic.

hmm, what else is there for a CB Deoxys?

Nothing big, actually - Superpower, Zen Headutt, Pursuit, extremespeed, Poison Jab, Rock slide, T-bolt (to take on skarms). I admit, it has pretty cuky coverage compared to other cbers without the punches, but it still has moves for a pure cber.

It works best utilizing both of its attacking stats - super power deals with blissey, Thunderbolt/Thunder deals with waters/skarms/flyers. Extremespeed takes on the likes of salac garchomp (the one with extra SpDef - after the IBeam followed by a KO, switch in for the kill via extremespeed). PsychoBoost in the OU metagame from speed deoxys can do massive damage to those that resist your other moves, if you want a sure-fire OHKO.

By the way, it is rumored that you will be able to have backwards compatability in Platinum, and/or move tutors returning. In addition, you can still get the punches on the bots. It also works with something I introduced on another site to emulate the game perfectly is to have AR Battles - legal sets, IVs that you want, EVs with the caps, no exploding Deoxys, or something with 2 bad egg moves (like ice ball/mist poliwrath).
