Presume each is bred with Ditto as the other partner:
Bullet Punch: Hitmonchan
Counter: Hitmonchan
Helping Hand: Tyrogue
Hi Jump Kick: Hitmonlee
Mach Punch: Hitmonchan
Mind Reader: Hitmonlee
Rapid Spin: Hitmontop
Vacuum Wave: Hitmonchan

In this way, these moves of different forms can be passed down to Tyrogues and added to the movelist of that Pokemon (such as a Hitmontop with Mach Punch).

The announcement says literally "You also may not discuss what is "hacking" and what is not "hacking" - this is because this an exercise in futility." so I think if you think that pokemon from an emulator are not different from those from a real cart (and they most likely aren't) then you only have to state that in your thread, anything else is just trying to convince yourself and others of your point of view.

a) if you follow my guide the emulation is perfect except for a few graphical glitches.
b) Pokemon caught on an emu are as legal as those caught anywhere else as the game environment is identical to the carts and it's just as difficult to catch decent pokemon.

As you said in a previous post, you are not supposed to be discussing what is "legit" or not because of the rules so it is not me deciding that it shouldn't be discussed here but it is the rules that make it so.
Just because you are a supporter of emulation it doesn't mean that playing ROMs of games you don't own is illegal and as far as I know
Law > smogon's rules > your personal beliefs about emulation
I just stated this as a fact and I don't think you can prove me wrong.

Does smogon have a list of the "cool" moves for like a Contest? i want to get my trainer card a different color.

Have you considered Castform? Doesn't have the Speed you're looking for, but it can play well with weather.

Kind of a noob question, but how come sassy > quiet on one of abomasnow's sets. Sassy does take hits better from waters but quiet does do a lot of damage with blizzard right?
 
If you breed a ditto and a female pokemon that is holding an Everstone, will the nature from the offspring have a 50% chance of being the female's nature? Also, if both ditto and female are holding Everstones, which nature is going to be passed to the offspring? Thanks in advance.
 
Sorry, these questions might be a little dumb but........

1) Concerning TheManyke's Tauros, is the Return move at it's max power when it's given to you, or do you have to do something else to get Return to top power?
2) When battling on PBR, the power of a Return move is based on the friendliness between the pokemon and the Diamond/Pearl trainer, or the pokemon and the PBR trainer?

Ditto passes the nature in Ditto+Female. The female has no effect on the offspring in this case.
 
Accidentally made this into a thread, didn't see this thread until after I made it. Anyway here's the question.

I have a Gamestop Deoxys-A that i was hoping to make a Choice Band variant of. But, however, there is no way in d/p for deoxys to learn ice and fire punch. The only way for deoxys to learn the elemental punch moves is in emerald by the move tutor (as far as I know). So I was wondering since a GBA deoxys can learn those elemental moves and be sent to D/P, if it would be legal or not to hack the elemental punch moves into the Gamestop one?

This is kind of a random question and not that important, more of just a curiosity. I would test this myself on shoddy or something but it would be too time-consuming. Anyway. I know that the type of the move Judgement is determined by the plate held. So for whatever reason I thought about this. Let's say Clefable is holding a Fist Plate and uses Metronome and it chooses Judgement would Judgement be of the fighting type or normal type? I would think fighting type but I'm not sure since Metronome chose Judgement.

in my opinion its illegal and i think most the community here would think so to. i dont think this is supposed to be talked about anyways, theres a new rule about no talking about hacks or whats legal as far as i recall.

After that, I have the pokemon legit with me, where I can trade them to people on wi-fi, in real life.

Is all that possible? Are pokemon obtained via ROMs really legit? Can't people without ARs use this way to be like 'other players'? Please tell me what you think. Although it looks really troubling, if people can work out deals, it can make some peoples lives 'easier'.

EDIT: @da big blast: I have no idea where you can get it, cause I don't have an AR. Sorry for that. You can just pm/post in threads of people who use the codes. That might work.

So I'm assuming you're playing through the game on an emulator, then loading up the .SAV file it produces into Pokesav and creating an AR code to transfer all your pokemon to your legit game, correct?

The ROM itself does not go about producing and saving data any different than if you were playing a legit copy of the game. In fact, a ROM is just a copy of the legit version of the game. The problem with your method lies with Pokesav - if you use an AR to create pokemon, even if they originate from legitimate and non-hacked data, these pokemon will appear hacked (I'm not talking about anyone's subjective opinion here, I'm saying they will fail a hack check) when created on your legit game. The only way to do this without compromising the data of your pokemon would be to load the ROM's save file onto a flash cart and trade them to a legit game. Simply using an AR will not accomplish what you wish to accomplish.

The elemental punches are not available to Deoxys in D/P. So a GameStop Deoxys knowing them would be one of the most obvious hacks you could make.
 
I've always wondered, how does Download work? Does it raise SpA when coming in on a pokemon with lower Def or lower SpD? Or does it work in another manner? Thanks in advance.
