Smoke and Ashes!

HMMMM..... I really wanted to try something different with this team! I wanted certain poke that I really love get some shine time!!! This is my second time making a team after coming back into competitive play so it might be a little rusty! I know this is the best place for team advice so I'm all for the criticism!!! Lets get started shall we!!!!!!

Arcanine@Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Rash
Evs: 252 Sp.Atk/252 Speed/4 Hp
Dragon Pulse
Hidden Power [Ground]
Overheat/Fire Blast
Extreme Speed

I just love this fire breathing speedy dog! <3
I used this hound on Shoddy a couple of times as
a lead and let me just tell it caught a couple of
opponents of guard!! Dragon Pulse is for Salamence
and other Dragons. Now the Hidden Power is the
one I am having trouble on!!! I had Grass as my staple one,
but Heatran has been coming in lately on it and that has been
the down fall of my little mutt! I decided to with ground because
of that Dirt Eating thing always ruins my fun!
Now the third move is a hard for me!! I always used Overheat
to hit extremely hard on things that resist it, but sometimes it
misses!!! So I put Fire Blast as a second option for the simple fact
of still staying in with SP. ATK drop! Extreme Speed is to finish things off!!

Blastoise@Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Bold
Evs: 252 HP/252 Def/6 Sp.Atk
Rapid Spin
Ice Beam
Protect/Toxic
Surf

I just love this HYDRO CANNON EQUIPPED WATER TURTLE!
It is my Tank and my Spinner! Rapid Spin is for spikes androcks of course!
Ice Beam is for Dragons and Grass Types. Third slot is a toss up!
Protect can be used for an extra turn for Leftover recovery
or it can be used to lock in Choice Banders and Choice Spec users!!!
I actually used that with an Electivire I had on a team on
Shoddy and it worked wonders!!! Surf is for STAB DUH!!

gbc036.gif

Clefable@Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
Nature: Calm
Evs: 212 HP/72 Def/4 Spd/220 SDef

Thunder
Softboiled
Ice Beam/Seismic Toss
Encore

Special Wall with a twist!!! This is were poor Arcanine runs too when
Gyara comes out to play!!! I can either use Thunder which 1HKO even
the Bulkiest one or Encore it to keep in DD mode! Softboiled for healing
Ice Beam for Dragons and other crap. Seismic Toss is an option since
Blastoise has Ice Beam to deal with Dragons and crap!

gbc212.gif

Scizor@Life Orb
Ability: Technician
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 220 HP/132 Atk/56 Spd/100 SDef

Light Screen
U-Turn
Pursuit
Roost

Sets up LS and beats Starmie / Gengar. EVs allow 1HKO on non-switching Gengar with Pursuit. Also 1HKOs Starmie with U-Turn. Pretty cool I must say
what a team player!!!!!

gbc149.gif

Dragonite@Yachee Berry
Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Jolly
Evs: 252 Atk/252 Speed/4 hp

Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Fire Punch
Outrage

Sets up with the help of it's teamates and tries to sweep! Earthqauke for pokes who wish they could fly, fire punch for Bronzong and Celebi, and outrage for when I feel safe to go all out!!!

gbc094.gif

Gengar@Focus Sash
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Modest
Evs: 252 Sp.Atk/252 Speed

Focus Blast
Shadow Ball
T-Bolt
Explosion/Destiny Bond

The opponent will be in shocking suprise when they meet up with this thing!
Focus Blast for Bliss and friends. Shadow Ball STAB! T-Bolt bulky waters.
Last slot is a toss up I can't decide but Destiny Bond seems more reliable!

Forgive me I was so tired making this!!! Will change anything but Arcy! Credits too Tochukaso for Clefable and Scizor moveset over at Serebii! Electivire could fit somewhere on here I think!!! So tired lol!!
Got a feeling this a bad team lol!!!

Please don't use images that are too large, and if you want this to remain open I suggest you add a few more lines describing the final 3 Pokemon, thank you.

I would throw Roost somewhere on Dragonite. It's one thing he's got over Garchomp and the like, so use it to your advantage. Get Magnezone over whoever you feel is a weak link (i'd say arcanine, he's cool but oh so predictable) and remove Skarmory and Bronzong easily.

Then you can have a Lum Berry, and just roost off those weak ice beams. I'm gonna do some calcs and help you come up with an EV spread. BRB.

OK, try this: 56 HP, 8 Attack, 252 Special Defense, 192 Speed.

266 special attack Ice Beams will do less than 65% to you, so you can DD and Roost in their faces. With Skarmory and Bronzong out of the way, you don't need a fire attack. EQ and Outrage will suffice.

Outruns Jolly Tyranitar before DD, and Timid Azelf after a DD.

Dude you are awesome!!!!!! Yeah Arcy can go!!! I was thinking about getting rid of gengar and maybe scizor too! Can you help me with that?

First and foremost. I love your sprites, GSC forever. Best memories of my 8 years of pokemon. Thanks for the nostalgia trip.

Anyways, on Dragonite, I say drop the Jolly for Adamant, the speed boost on Jolly isn't sufficent enough to account for the huge Attack Dragonite posses. Second, Gengar, make him Timid. The last move slot should generally be HP Ice, as Destiny Bond and Explosion suck with Gengar. If those don't work for you, also consider Hypnosis? And if you are hell bent on keeping the Focus Sash, then do so, but if you switch him to Timid, give him the Life Orb.

Thanks for the advice and I will apply it later on in the future.

Honestly, I don't like how you have nothing to defend yourself against big physical attackers, such as Tyranitar, Heracross, pokemon that can fuck up teams if not prepared for them. I would suggest Gliscor, the best thing there is, you can also try Dugtrio. Dugtrio is sure to take out all the Physical things that can hurt you, Aerial Ace for Heracross, and EQ for Tyranitar.

I'm not sure if you lead with Gengar, but if you don't, I will recommend you take it off. With all the ss going around, it isn't gonna have much effect. Life Orb would be better over Focus Sash tbh. You could use the standard Choice Scarf if you really want to hit faster pokemon, such as Garchomp. Lead with Gengar, scaring off other Gyarados and commong leads is very useful.
