Just saying. None of this "what they said" stuff. Also, if you do not have experience with the subject at hand, DO NOT VOTE. I do not want your opinion in that case.

Some people think this is a straight vote - it is not. I will be doing background checks. If you don't know what the metagame is like with Wobbuffet vs without Wobbuffet, why would you vote? We aren't looking for theorymon here.

It didn't seem like this fit in any of the discussion threads, so I'll just ask this here. Once all of the votes are counted up, are the admins just going to make their decision based on the votes received in the thread, or are they going to make the decision based on a number of factors besides the votes?

I will note that those who have registered on Smogon within the last three months will be forbidden to vote on these issues for various reasons.

This again doesn't fit in the discussion thread, but I would just like to thank the Upper Staff for allowing the Smogon Community to vote on these measures. I seriously could not have more respect for you guys than I do now. This decision is truly awesome for the Smogon Community and encourages discussion among members as well as giving every well-established member a voice. Thank you!

I agree with Chris is me. There are so many things I've wanted to say in regards to Wobbuffet/Deo-E/Event moves, but have been unable to do so until now.

Yeah I have to agree here as well. Thanks so much for letting us unbadged users vote because it allows everyone to get an opinion. I think it would be cool if we could do this for every major issue in Policy Review as it allows everybody to comment on it.

The thing with this is that I have seen many users who registered after April that made a lot more valid points and more fluent arguments than users that didn't... I feel that we should exercise judgement and make exceptions as needed on this policy.

Thank you Tangerine. I think I posted an intelligent post (vote maybe?) in the Wobbuffet discussion despite the fact I registered in April and if "background checks" are being done anyway the quality of the post mine as well be taken into account as well.
