I asked these questions before, but the thread was closed...

Sorry, these questions might be a little dumb but........

1) Concerning TheManyke's Tauros, is the Return move at it's max power when it's given to you, or do you have to do something else to get Return to top power?
2) When battling on PBR, the power of a Return move is based on the friendliness between the pokemon and the Diamond/Pearl trainer, or the pokemon and the PBR trainer?

Thanks very much in advance....
1) It won't be at max power because the happiness of a pokemon you got in a trade gets reseted back to the initial amount (I believe it was 70). Read this to know how to increase happiness: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Happiness
2) I don't have PBR but it is most likely the happiness it has with the trainer in your DS cart.

Is the Mew from My Pokémon Ranch SR-able?
Yes but you have to give 999 pokemon to Hayley again each time and erase the data of pokemon ranch from the wii, so it is not SRable like the mystery gift pokemon but you can get different mews each time if you follow all the steps again (kinda like colosseum bonus disk jirachi).

Well from the last thread, it seems like hacking fire punch and ice punch into gamestop Deoxys-A would be illegal, even though the GBA Deoxys can learn those 2 moves.

Anyway my next question is what would be a good alternative moveset for Choice Band Deoxys-A?

I'm thinking Superpower, Extremespeed, Pursuit, and Rock Slide

If you use "Encore" on a Pokemon who has used Hyper Beam ( or one of the other moves which requires a charge ) will they skip the charge turn till the encore ends?

@DDR: In most cases you are always going to go with HP over Defenses, especially if the HP is significantly lower than the Defenses.

I'm not sure where I'm going wrong on my Calculations but I'm trying to find out the EV Spread of a Groudon I got from my cousin over a year ago since he never trained it but Calculations don't match the amount of EV Reducing Berries that I used. Since 1 Point = 4-7 EV Points, I simply Multipled the Difference between the Cleared Stat and Orignal Stat by 4, which is supposed to give me the lowest possible EV Spread for that stat. However, the EV Spread I calculate always goes past 510 EVs.
According to the Berries it has about 130/100/80/30/60/120 but my Calculations give me 144/104/76/36/52/116.
The Original Stats are 372/380/334/217/223/233, and the Cleared Stats are 336/354/315/208/210/204, all at Lv. 100.
Everything is HP First, Speed Last, and it's according to the cleared stats are 26/17/30/27/25/17

Are you 100% certain it's not hacked in some way giving you 510+ spreads?

I've been trying to figure it out and it baffles me, too.

The IVs from those cleared stats are actually 26/17/30/27/25/19. It is Adamant, is it not?

The EVs to get those original stats would actually have to be 144/96/76/40/52/116. Of course, that equals 524...

Are you sure your numbers are right? Are you sure that your cousin couldn't have hacked it?

How confusing... @_@

Three questions:

If I max out a basic pokemon's Def(or any stat) at level 50, then I evolve it, will it go up to the evolution's max Def? or stay low as if it is still the basic form?

Is there any diffrence between a fighting/phycic and a phycic/fighing?

And who would make a better Special Attacker? Illumise, or Volbeat?

You mean maxing out a stat with EVs? Then it would go up to the max stat as it evolves.

There is no difference if you mix up the types.

Illumise makes a better special sweeper by far.

i am so very very very sick of breeding dratinis right now
im breeding a jolly male with perfect IV's in HP ATK and Spe and a female jolly with perfect IV's in ATK Sp. Def and Spe but im getting no results. i switch the parents when i find a better one and female always has to be jolly. If you look in my trading thread youll see that im aiming for Jolly 31/31/25+/X/25+/31 but im just not getting close

is there something im doing wrong?

In the previous thread I asked this question, however, it was not answered and I wasn't sure if this meant that no one knew the answer or that the thread was closed before someone could answer it. either way, I'm just posting it again to see if I can get an answer.

This is kind of a random question and not that important, more of just a curiosity. I would test this myself on shoddy or something but it would be too time-consuming. Anyway. I know that the type of the move Judgement is determined by the plate held. So for whatever reason I thought about this. Let's say Clefable is holding a Fist Plate and uses Metronome and it chooses Judgement would Judgement be of the fighting type or normal type? I would think fighting type but I'm not sure since Metronome chose Judgement.

Wow...... that's all I can say. This situation is so farfetched, but Judgement would be fighting in this case as it depends on the user's held plate item.

He isn't competitive in any sort of way, mostly just trying to level his pokemon to Lv. 100 and only has one EV'd Pokemon that I cleared for him, as well as told him how to train it but by that time her already had the Groudon. He doesn't own any AR or Hacking Device but his friends might, but I wouldn't know since I only see him once a year. If the EVs are really over 510, I'm sure PBR would do something about its since it really is one of the few things that it won't allow on Wi-Fi. The Numbers for the Stats should be correct since it would stop lowering the Stats after I gave it the said amount of berries.

Wait for Platinum to come out and hope it has the elemental punches.

Hmm maybe, still doesn't quite answer my question though =/

yeah, we would need the nature to make sure there's nothing wrong with it, and the speed should be 19 (if it's Adamant)... and how did you get 130/100/80/30/60/120 from the berries... the maximum amount of berries you need to clear a stat is 11..

Double battle question:

If I use Trick to switch a Choice Scarf to my partner in 2v2, will it receive the speed boost from the item on the same turn (to let it act next), or will it activate the following turn?

Example: Scarfed Mr. Mime tricks to Gallade. Does Gallade automatically move next?
