A Smogon minigame like Pkmn Crater
Obviously planned, but we actually don't currently have data for that yet. In fact, most of the data we have about items is sparse at best. Our pages for the items definitely aren't "finished", but are top priority (along with the rest of the Dex).
Eh, we have Pokemon simulators... this is orthogonal to our interests. Plus, that's pretty vague - what, do you want a small Koffing to traverse a maze or something? If someone wants to write this, more power to them!
The new version of vBulletin actually supports this. I'm not sure when we're upgrading, but we'll probably have this even before I write our own forums system.
Sorry, never gonna happen. Use IRC, the web is not a real-time chat medium. Plus, a chatroom with 400-700 people on at once? No way, there would be no way to moderate it. It would be complete and utter chaos, and not in the "man, chaos is an awesome user" way.
It was a team rater bot, and is unfortunately pretty low on the priority list unless I can find interested programmers to work on the project.
I would argue that since people don't check their PMs, they probably wouldn't check their pager ;( anyway, I think most of those problems will be solved when I roll out the new WFTC which is currently prioritized after the dex.
Yeah, I have it active and I generally respond promptly to PM's. Hmm... I wasn't aware it was a 'feature'. Probably most people have that set to off. Chaos, you're probably right about people who ignore PM's would likely ignore a pager so I'm interested to see how your WFTC works out.
Chaos, would it be at all possible to install a button/link on the smogon front page that took you directly to #smogon irc. I have seen this done on others sites like this (see link):

I dont know if it'd be possible, but I used to be on a forum that had a jukebox at the bottom that could play songs...
Agreed it would be pretty cool if the chat could be available through a java application.
The problem with that is that you need to have your IRC username's password inputted before you can sign onto the smogon server. I dunno, it seems like needing to input your IRC username password to get on makes it kind of hard to enable such a feature on the site, but I'm not 100% sure on this, maybe it is possible.

P.S. wth do we even have Nick/Pass on a IRC. Is it easier to mod/ban idiots that way? or is there another reason?
you do? I thought you just had to have a registered nick [which isn't that hard, /nickserv register email password or something to that bent - I see no reason you can't do that over java] and join dejatoons [which is not smogon's exclusive server, it's just an IRC network we happen to be on], /nickserv id password /join smogon.
Seeing the beta testing for the Wi-Fi Trade Center, I hope their might come a Wi-Fi Battle Center sometime.
I, for one, hate when a page takes forever to load and then I am met by some silly tune that ruins the music I am listening to.
I don't remember if that place where things such as A Mullet's Tale was stored is back up but if it isn't I'd like too see it up again.

In terms of the pokedex, I would like the ability to search for certain pokemon using filters more than one criteria e.g. say I could search for a) a pokemon that is of the poison type, i.e. it absorbs toxic spikes and b) can learn the move toxic spikes. Other criteria could be trait, tier etc.
