I was using metalkids IV calculator to check some ivs of pokemon I just got and one came back with an impossible value. I double checked everything and it was all in correct.

What does this mean? Is there a different calculator that works better?

I have Zapdos (250 Speed) with Agility used once and I baton pass out - does the recipient get the 250 speed boost or will it get +2 Speed depending on its own speed stat?
What about 101 HP Subs?

IIRC some trainers level up after you catch Heatran. I don't remember where I heard that though.

What would be a good set for a Rain Dancing Deoxys-E? I figure it would be an interesting option on my Rain Dance team for the element of surprise, and with that freakish speed it can easily all but guarantee a Rain Dance if it gets in safely.

Currently I'm figuring on:
Deoxys-E@ Damp Rock/Expert Belt/Focus Sash
Hasty
8 HP/252 SpA/248 Spe to outspeed Jolly Scarfchomp
-Psychic/Taunt
-Ice Beam
-Thunder
-Rain Dance

Taunt will be interesting if I use it as a lead...Superpower would be nice too though. Anyone have any thoughts?

usually, but sometimes you get a bonus point per 4 evs, so they actually give you 2 points per 4 evs, but this only happens when your stats are high. I forget the exact number you start getting bonus points at, but I know adamant gyara with 16 attack evs gets a bonus point (bulkygyara)

Such "bonuses" are only on stats with a nature boost. For example, if we take a pokemon with a 100 base Speed...

At level 100 with 0 EVs, max IV, he has a speed of 236.

At level 100 with 252 EVs, max IV, he has a speed of 299

At level 100 with 0 EVs, max IV, +Speed Nature, he has a speed of 259 (+23 speed from Nature)

At level 100 with 252 EVs, max IV, +Speed Nature, he has a speed of 328 (+29 speed from Nature)

Alright, thanks. That makes some sense.

Can any one help with this one?

I just saw an advertisment for an MMORPG. I was just wondering...what's an MMORPG?

It's a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. Games like World of Warcraft and Everquest are prominent MMORPGs. Imagine that you're playing Pokémon looking for shinies and just as you spot one another player runs up and captures it. That's the essence of MMORPGs.

Is there a rebattle code for Heatran?
I have found one on google but I've read it doesn't work and I have not find any others that work.

Do any of the following codes make a pokemon 'hacked' (meaning I'd get disqualified in official tournies)? If so, which ones? Thank You!

Fast Hatch
Intant Egg (hold R and take a step)
See egg's stats before it hatches (Hold L)
IV checking
And finally the EV modifier:

Vitamins give X amount of EVs.(As long as the 510 total isn't passed. For example: Giving a pokemon protein for 252 Attack and Carbos for 252 speed, then doing the last 6 yourself.)
You might want to read this before making those questions.

If you get an impossible value it means that you have inputted the stat wrong or that it has EVs gained but you don't know them. Metalkid's calc works perfectly if you input the correct data, you could use serebii's but in this case it will tell you that the stat has 31 IVs because it doesn't recognize when the user inputs incorrect values.
This is a classic case of "the problem exists between the chair and the keyboard".

The recepient gets +2 speed based on its own speed. Read this too: http://www.smogon.com/dp/moves/substitute

do i need to grow levels to gain EV's?
Only pokemon that gain experience receive EVs, you don't need to gain a level but if the pokemon is at level 100 it won't receive experience so it doesn't get EVs either.

Not pokemon related I think but well, it means "Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game". Think in something like WoW.

I have read that, but I need to know which does what to the pokemon so I can decide what to use and therefore state which i'm using.

If you have read that then you would know this:
With this in mind, the site will not promote hacking in any sort of way. This means that you may not post, discuss, or promote AR Codes, Save Data, and anything else related to Flash Cart activities. You also may not discuss what is "hacking" and what is not "hacking" - this is because this an exercise in futility.

Use whatever codes you want to use and inform the people you are trading with, if you need to know what other people use then lurk the wifi forums more and read what most people use. You need to decide what you consider hacking on your own because those discussions are against the rules.
