Hello everybody on Smogon, here is my team I am currently using...

Please help my team with any criticism you can
(if you lack of pictures bothers you, let me know)

Roserade @ Focus Sash
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Timid
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Sp. Atk / 252 Spd

-Sleep Powder
-Toxic Spikes
-Grass Knot
-HP Fire

Sort of an anti-starter. Sleeps the slow and fast pokemon because focus sash allows her to survive one hit and then sleep the pokemon. Is faster then Bulky Gyrados so that I don't worry too much about taunt.

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
Nature: Modest
EVs: 172 HP / 252 Sp. Atk / 84 Spd

-Thunderbolt
-HP Ice
-Substitute
-Magnet Rise

Secondary defensive wall and a steel killer. Magnezone can survive an ice beam from a Deoxys-S (switching in from Gliscor or Roserade) and then a Superpower. Steel kills with magnet rise and substitute so status and earthquake don't work on him.

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 HP / 6 Atk / 252 Def

-Earthquake
-Roost
-Ice Fang
-Knock Off

A Physical wall, Earthquake and Ice Fang provide good attack support and can kill Dragons.

Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 Sp. Def

-Surf
-Roar
-Rest
-Calm Mind

Fairly standard Calmcune, can be a physical or special wall and phazes my opponents pokemon. Has a chance to sweep with enough calm minds under its belt. Celebi is probably its best counter so I am thinking of Ice Beam over Roar.

Infernape @ Life Orb
Ability: Blaze
Nature: Naive
EVs: 24 Atk / 252 Sp. Atk / 232 Spd

-Flamethrower
-Close Combat
-Nasty Plot
-Grass Knot

Can bring down almost all walls, especially after a nasty plot. The one wall it has problems with though is Cresselia. Can generally sweep later in the game after its brought down a wall or two.

Dugtrio @ Life Orb
Ability: Arena Trap
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd

-Earthquake
-Sucker Punch
-Stone Edge
-Aerial Ace

Revenge kills. Can take down Psychics with Sucker Punch (especially fast ones that have taken some damage from Toxic Spikes like Alakazam and Deoxys-S)

Lets see what I can do with your team.

Lets start with sets/spreads first. On Magnezone's spread, I personally like more 172 HP, 188 Spd, 148 SpA, which outspeeds the standard Agiligross spread before an Agility. It also gives you the advantage aainst other Magnezones that try to destroy your own.

On Gliscor, I think he wants SR > Knock Off, because if SpecsMence can manage to pull off switch-ins with no damage, it can definetly be a problem for your team, and a BIG one at that.

Now, about the team itself, it actually looks pretty solid, thing is, I don't see what Toxic Spikes are doing for you =/. You have a somewhat offensive team right there, and its not like Gliscor is a stall machine. You have a pretty big weakness to Gengar and MixMence. Seeing as you wanna keep up with the Toxic Spikes, why not add a Calm Zapdos, since you lack a MixApe counter.

Where should I add zapdos?

Perhaps use him over Magnezone?

(thank you for your comments)

I know this sounds stupid, but use Taunt on Dugtrio. It combos with Arena Trap, and when against something like ResTalkTran, it gets vapourised - literally.

Actually, I never thought of that, that sounds like a good idea

I guess I can drop Aerial Ace, never use it anyways -_-

yea, get Ice beam on Suicune... Imo I would put it on over Rest. Why? because when you sleep your foe gets out his counter and pwns suicune. and Ice beam diffently helps with it's weakness to Grass and also helps with dragons

Since Roserade's toxic spike isn't a necessary thing you want for your team, since your team is more of an offensive team. I suggest adding Bronzong, which can get you both a sleep induction and a primary SR supporter. Thus, it isn't so bad to replace Gliscor for Zapdos. I'd suggest this moveset for Zapdos: HP ice, Tbolt, Roost, Roar.

Thus, you can replace Suicune's roar for Ice Beam. And now your team can handle Garchomp very well and many other common threats.

Do I really need more than one sleeper?

I think I will get a zapdos, it seems that a lot of people think I need one...

So, I guess I can do this?

Zapdos > Gliscor
Bronzong > Magnezone

???

No, I want you to replace Roserade for Bronzong (Read the other post carefully). And yes Zapdos over Gliscor.

Standard Dugtrio with LO. Interesting.

You might want to use Protect over Sucker Punch to scope out for the switches' attacks. Just an idea. In my experiance, you're more than likely to die after making your first revenge kill, so Protect may be more useful.

Here's the set I'm looking to include in a Sandstorm team I'm making.

Adamant Dugtrio @ Life Orb
252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
~ Earthquake
~ Aerial Ace
~ Rock Slide
~ Protect

I have been reading on Zapdos, and he apparently combos quite well with toxic spikes, so I don't think Roserade is coming out

Sucker Punch, for me, is quite useful at taking out Deoxys-S after a kill it makes, so I would like to see it stay

Stealth Rock over Knock Off on Gliscor please. Really helps Infernape sweep and turns a lot of Dugtrio's 2HKO's into OHKO's.

As far as particular weaknesses go, Nasty Plot Azelf, Mixed Infernape, Gengar and Earthquake Bulky Gyarados are pretty high up the list. When facing Azelf, your only hope is that they don't predict your Sucker Punch, because they can keep NPing until you decide to Stone Edge, and if they decide to attack at the same point, you lose. It's beatable, but when the closest thing you have to a counter is a revenge killer that can't trap it and can be set up on with prediction I would say you've got a problem. As for Gyarados, the only thing that can take Waterfall/Earthquake is Suicune, who is totally and utterly shut down by Taunt. Mixape just needs to get a Nasty Plot and it's basically gg. Gengar doesn't even need that. Specsmence can also be an issue, though much less so than the others. You also struggle to take status; Suicune may have Rest, but without Sleep Talk it can't take sleep.

I'm curious as to what Magnezone achieves on this team. It exacerbates your weaknesses, and your team doesn't really benefit in the slightest from getting rid of Bronzong or Skarmory as nothing on your team really has issues with them anyway. Dugtrio and Gliscor handle most of the rest adequately. I would advise using a Scarf Heatran here. Adds a bit of speed to your team, counters Azelf, Gengar, Infernape (as long as you predict around CC) and Specsmence to a degre and provides an Explosion to blow up on any counters (many of which are similar to those of Infernape, freeing you up for a sweep there)

After that, I'd say that maybe changing your Suicune set around a bit would be beneficial, to let it counter Gyarados and take status for you. Rest/Sleep Talk/Surf/Hidden Power Electric would do the job, unfortunately you're still walled by Celebi but you've now got Heatran to absolutely murder her, so no worries :)

Hope that helps :p

OK, thank you

It looks like I might be dumping Gliscor and Magnezone, but I will edit it when it seems like I have it worked out

Sorry, the forum I usually visit automatically edits posts so I am used to that :(

I won't do it anymore, my bad
