Primarily attacks; they're difficult for me to render. My laziness in the matter is a secondary factor.

EG, BW: With school back in session, art here is going to be cut back significantly. I still have plans on Empoleon, but no progress. And I'm feeling a tad too lazy on Azelf. :(
 
dont mind my randomness then lorak...im half asleep its almost 7am...ive been up since 11 yesterday...and im thinking im falling in love hardcore...oh and i hate croagunk(check the look what i bred thread)

Yes. Begrudging yes.

Just to show the sacrifices I make for you people, I'm taking a course this semester that compares the anatomy of different vertebrates to each other, from lamprey to lungless salamanders, to lizards, to larks, to lawyers, primarily focusing on skeletal structure. (What does that mean to you, the viewers? It means I'll know how real animals' skeletons work, so I can try to apply that knowledge to drawing. :V)

Was planning on a group pic with Torterra and Blastoise, but wanted to post something, finally.
 
I think a group turtle fam pic would be classic.

Having a knowledge of anatomy and bone structure is *certainly* important and valuable.
 
I think I've come quite a way in a year or two...

Only the Blastoise'd be really classic... there was a time two-thirds of the way through the RSE generation where I finally decided to get a copy of Emerald, having had no "third-gen" games, just LeafGreen. It was odd adjusting to the presence of the new Pokemon at the time, though there were clear favorites (Beldum line, Metagross in particular, and Kyogre spring to mind). Sitting here with all the third-gen games, including the Gamecube ones, the third-gen Pokemon still feel a tad alien to me, compared to the first, second, and even fourth.

And yay, bone structure. *woo*
