I just imported the game, and I am looking forward to it.

Also, I want my new Giratina nicknamed "Origin" in Japanese letters, so if anyone knows Japanese, please type "Origin" for me.

Doesn't seem right to me. Lack of seed bomb, repetition of several Emerald moves, and being bought with shards when you would think they'd be purchased with BP sounds suspicious.

The only repeated Move Tutors are the Elemental Punches and Icy Wind... I don't think anyone will really complain about those.

And yay, my Jolly Jirachi will finally get some love!

Giratina's and Frontier Brain's musics are just... wow. I thought Giratina's would be an "eviler" of Dialga/Palkia's, but just "distorted" is good enough.

I want to know about Dialga/Palkia. Any news?

Wait, haven't they said Volkner wasn't the 8th Gym Leader anymore? >_>

Bull**** because in the Trainer Card, Volkner is still the 8th GYM Leader. Seems like they were wrong.
 
...Strange. Pokebeach says about Dialga and Palkia being summoned, then Giratina's shadow appears, then Dialga and Palkia are completely forgotten. Seems we won't have a Wild Double Battle. Seems we won't even have them -__-

That's strange. Maybe they will stay in Spear Pillar?
 
Just a complaint. Why doesn't GameFreak do obvious? No Volt Tackle for Luxray? No Flare Blitz for Flareon? Seriously, what do they have against obvious?
 
I'm glad the Elemental Punches are back. Now my nearly perfect Adamant GS Deoxys can get some love.

Any word from Colin/Doug/Shoddy devs as to how soon we can expect them to begin implementing Platinum updates to the game?
 
I forgot that the final gym leader had an octillery lol, it's pretty nice to see Electivire up there now. I've been told that this ingame is slightly harder than D/P, is this true? I'm too lazy to properly check for myself but I know theres only a difference in level of 1 for the final leaders' highest level pogey.

Because VT is a special Pikachu family only move, and they have something against Flareon.

Also curious about Palkia/Dialga. Hope they're still catchable. And what about their items? Where would they be?
 
Meh... just got to the First Badge... its easy to get their ( thx to a bare bones Walkthrough though.. ), I'd like to know which nature my pkm has though =/ --> Turtwig!
 
bloody hell, that was hard work. I didn't have any emulator, no bittorrent, and not the game either.

But I have managed to download everything.

I hope this is right (*crosses fingers*)

No$GBA
BitTorrent (to open the game)
Pokémon Platinum

And yeah. I just got it imported as well, so I'm happy! :D
 
It's probably a D/P exclusive item only, or maybe they're found where they can be caught (if it's even possible). Pokebeach mentions a Platinum Orb, which appears to be the counterpart to D/P's Lustrous/Adamant Orb. What happens if one tries to send it to D/P?
