hp ice helps it take on dragonite and zapdos more effectively.
The problem with Rampardos has never been breaking walls, the problem is switching into them, and that he gets smashed by any neutral attack from sweepers and is slower than almost all of them. I'll stick with my endeavor set..
rampardos has always had earthquake to hit steels with lol, and you're forgetting it has mold breaker which makes bronzong's levitate useless. Fire Punch doesn't hit Skarm any harder than Stone Edge does. It would've been nicer if it got seed bomb for hippo and swampert instead of fire punch.

What the fuck. Special Ground attack would have been nice....you know actually focus on Sp.Atk EVs instead of a mixed set would make Scarf Eruption that much more deadly. Even Superpower to get through rocks and some waters, not to mention I hate FP on a Scarf set. Good to see T-Punch is back although it's not special anymore, won't get walled by Gyara so horribly.
Am I the only one who thinks any pokémon with good Sp. Attack and Earthquake should've gotten Earth Power? I mean, what am I going to do with Earth Power on REGIROCK?

I'm SRing for shaymin again now. I think 30/31 speed is going to be a lot more important than anything else at this point including hidden power. Getting ahead of weavile is big. >.>
My point was that it would make for an amazing CB set, one that doesn't really care about paralysis or poison. It does have good base HP, and in Sandstorm it can take weaker special hits without much trouble.
Bogmire, I know that it could already hit Bronzong and Skarm; using Fire Punch just takes a lot of chance out of the guessing game and ensures that you 2HKO Skarm, whereas you'd only have a 64% chance to do so with Stone Edge (due to its crappy accuracy). That's the same reason Thunder Punch will be useful; it allows Rampardos to hit those bulky waters without having to worry about missing with Stone Edge.
Since it cant get around Ice Shard, is it that important? Assuming Skymin stays in OU Id be willing to bet even more Weaviles will carry it.
Does Rampy get Ice Punch too?
I don't understand the hype about Rampardos...? Frankly speaking, Rampardos sucks. It dies to one hit (even with that high HP, don't know about SS), and it's not the sweeper/wall breaker people make it out to be. >_>;

Adamant-Sash RockPolish sets work pretty well, assuming your opponent doesnt have a priority move(I dont see that happening anymore..) but it does work.
I'd rather have the speed than be taking a 31 sATK / 25 speed shaymin into battle I think . . .
Yeah there's ice shard, but getting ahead of what you are supposed to is still very important in my opinion.
No reason to SR for a Skymin until we get confirmation that it can actually be used in battle.
