Lets say me and my opponent only have 1 more pokemon left
if I use Destiny Bond first and then he KOs me with an attack and we both die
who wins the battle?

is this different in the battle tower?
 
In normal link batles and Shoddy, the DBer wins, I think. In BT, DBer loses, I think...
 
How to wall Luke nowadays since Gliscor loses to Ice Punch (Plz help, can't stand getting rundown by anymore lucarios) ?
 
Quick question, and although it may seem quite a n00b-ish thing to ask, but what constitutes an illegal moveset? I've been poring over the Platinum illegal movesets and can't for the life of me figure out why some are illegal.

Incompatible combinations of Egg Moves/Move tutor moves. For example, you can't use a Aqua Jet/Belly Drum Azumarill because they're passed (the moves) by different Pokes.
 
Q1: After almost a year of not playing seriously, I checked my Pearl version and saw I had a Smeargle in the daycare.. and it knows Sunny Day and Sketch. What would be the easiest way to get him to sketch an Ice Punch and other moves I need for Weavile?

Q2: Gengar gets Counter from Breeding with Wobbuffet, correct? Or if there a faster/better way to do it?

Q3: Only way to get Seismic Toss on Blissey is from the Emerald Move Tutor, isn't it?... please say no because that's like the only GBA/DS game I don't have -_-

1) Go to the 2v2 restaurant near pastoria with a guy who knows ice punch.
2) Emerald move tutor. I don't think you can get it by breeding.
3) Correct, you need emerald.

If you buy emerald used, odds are it will be beaten and you can start using the tutors right away.
 
Crap, the second 2 answers are not what I had in mind. I think I cleared out every trainer on every mandatory path. Hooray for Vs. Seeker! Restaurant by Pastoria... why don't I remember that? Do you mean the milk place above Solaceon? I'll check either way when I get home to my game. =)

lolz, last time I got a pokemon game used (it was free from my friends.. friend or something :/) it was a Ruby. I forget how far he got, but he has 99 of EVERY Berry, a few lvl 100 Pokemon (rare candies) and, lucky me, a BAD EGG. I was excited to be able to have the good Pinch berries if nothing else. =)

You know the hotel between Pastoria and Lake Valour? Theres restaurant that is full of double battles. Talk to the diners at their tables.
 
Becuz BPs only need the amount they require i mean it would be useless to give max Atk Evs to a pokemon used for BPing making all those EVs for waste.

And the HP evs are needed as Leafeon isn't fast. 95 Speed evs anything higher can out run like a Salamance with Flamethrower+Choice Specs=Bad set for leafeon

They need to make it bulky enough for it to survive atleast one hit so it can Baton pass SD to a Physical attacker.

remember BP is all about Requirements, you don't need them all, just some.

Thanks for the answer but now I don't get another thing. What do you get from putting EVs into attack at all. If you intent to Baton Pass after SDing then why not put the rest of the EVs in HP and defense? 160 Attack EVs looks like a random number, nowhere in the analysis it is mentioned what can you accomplish with those EVs. I guess it lets you OHKO or 2HKO certain pokemon but I don't have an idea of which ones.
 
What is the deal with a deoxys traded and cloned before after it was legitly SR from gamestop but now it cannot be traded over wifi without a connection error??!?
