I thought the rule said that Pokemon in the generation the tutors exist could use them. Like Croagunk could use the Platinum tutors, but something like Pinsir couldn't.
Can we get a clarification on the rule?

it was if you got a pokemon from third gen but didn't have access to emerald you could get them moves that are tutor moves from emerald that are also on platinum
like the punches
im pretty sure lorak did that since he wanted to have this tournament before the release of platinum so he is making it just like how he originally had it planned

If we get enough people, yes, it will be extended. That was my plan all along.

Okay, that's what I initially thought anyway.
Toxicroak would still have access to Nasty Plot, Sludge Bomb, Dark Pulse, Focus Blast, Hidden Power (lol) and others on the special side, and Swords Dance Brick Break, Sucker Punch, Poison Jab, Stone Edge, and Earthquake on the physical side.
I'll just have to consult my list of threats to see if it's even viable. :)
No... Is it catchable in either third-gen Safari Zone and does it learn it from a tutor back then?
Hmm... I don't even know if I'm using the Toxicroak. I mean, it could function as a physical sweeper fine, it's just that I would hate to waste that nice special attack.

Maybe something like that would work? If it had a nice Hidden Power, then I'd have something to work with.

Added to rule 15: To clarify, since this doesn't seem to be getting through, pretend Platinum doesn't exist. It's only being used as a tool to teach third-gen move tutors to third-gen-caught Pokemon.

Which ability? And at least one of Flurries's outspeeds yours, not that that's important. Or does it? I think 30 and 31 have the same Speed at Lv.50.
