How did Tenzing and Hillary explore Everest when they had no idea what the climb would be like except that it was cold and big and steep? They just _did_ it. This is the same concept, you can't explore unless you do no things and carve new niches. Then, once we make it, we play test/revise based on how it performs.how is this helping explore the metagame in new ways besides creating a new niche that we have no idea how it will perform.

doug agreed with me on many points and i kind of find you were all pretty complacent and not willing to think about being wrong.We take it seriously because we made it ourselves. We listen to criticism. We take suggestions into consideration. However, when someone just walks in and acts like he owns the forums, telling us we're doing it wrong without even trying the process first, that ticks me off.
i think i came pretty close to stopping something i consider a waste of time and energy. im not going to stop fighting just because it's inconvenient to you guys.I'm not saying the forum is always right. But there's a time and a place for everything, and this is neither.

I really agree with Deck Knight as well because of this; as he's pointed out, Farfetch'd already has a viable potential role as a baton passer. Togekiss can Baton Pass Nasty Plots, yes, but not Swords Dance or Agility. All it needs to fill such a role is increased stats and a few more viable attacking options; no type changes or completely new roles needed.
I just don't want to go down the Fly/Fight or whatever road for this though; that just seems to much like a CAP project (since it's creating a Pokemon to fill a new niche without more reasoning to back up why this Pokemon is being select to fill the niche except for flavor reasons; we really might as well create a Fly/Fight CAP if that's the case, since that would seem to be what we're doing anyway), which I'd rather avoid so that there's actually some difference between the two projects and it's not something to just appease fanboys.
