I like how you spelled Christmas incorrectly, especially since the day is meant to honour Christ.

Lets discuss christmas trees.

Has anyone picked theirs out yet? I am thinking I should do that soon. The problem I had last year was one of the places doesnt open till dec 1st, but if I wait till dec 1st at the other places, the best trees will all be gone and I dont really want to make two trips..

The one I got last year was awesome, but slightly too huge.. Plus we picked it up a little bit early so it was just starting to wilt a little by christmas day..

I have picked out my Christmas tree. It was a hard choice between the Tall, plastic "Makes a hell of a mess" tree or the small, fiber optic "Kills you if you touch it" tree, but i decided that having a messy house > getting electrocuted with a dodgy fiber optics thing
 
I always get a real tree and then recycle it. Plus it just fills the living room with that nice pine smell that reminds me of Christmas. Although I've pricked myself several times putting up the ornaments.
 
we have an arteficial tree, which we store in the attic. We've had it for ~}30 years and evry christams the carpet gets covered in tonnes of fake needles, despite the fact they should logically be all gone by now.
 
Thanksgiving isn't even for another two weeks. Your town shouldn't have a fucking Christmas tree yet, I'd say that's karma.
 
i always pick out a Christmas tree from this forest near my house. it is actually owned by some friends, so they let us get them for free. I'd just like to point out that most Christmas traditions, including giving gifts, having a tree and getting together with one's family are in fact pagan.

Fake trees FTFW
 
My mum + my sister + after-christmas sales = at least 10 new tree decorations. I wonder if we'll get a tree with our decorations this year. As well as that, we're not allowed lights either, Fire Hazard >__>

And yeah, we use a slot-together fake one =/
 
Fake trees are awesome.

Ours is pre-lit and looks exaaaaactly like a real one.

A lot of my die-hard real tree friends are like BUT THE SMELL!! but it fades after 48 hours, so who cares really?
