A pokemon uses Protect 1st Turn, then uses Torment, does the attack get through since it didn't hit the first time or is it stopped?

Well, when Protect is used when the opponent uses, say, Explosion, the Protected poke does not die while the opponent faints, counting the move as being used. When a poke uses protect and the opponent uses any move, a PP is used. So the move is stopped. Hence, Torment should work.

Seems logical enough.

While I'm at it does Torment prevent non-damaging moves such as Hypnosis, Swords Dance from occuring twice in a row.
 
Does anyone know where a good damage calculator is?

Im starting to get into pokemon so I would think this would be a good place to go to to better understand why Ev spreads are that way etc etc.
 
Hm, now this brings up an interesting question then. Suppose a resting pokemon is in its last turn of rest and used Sleep Talk, which chose (let's say) Rest. And then it gets Tormented. When it wakes up, will it not be able to choose Rest, or will it not be able to choose Sleep Talk?

It wouldn't be able to use Sleep Talk.

Scarf Medicham is actually really easily walled and kind of "meh", but the above works against CB Medicham.

Well, Tyranitar can't really switch in to Will-O-Wisp, Thunder Wave, or any of that kind, which are sometimes the only way to stop medicham.
 
WHO can unban me from shoddy battle?
I banned myself for 2 years 2 see what would happen, but now I cant get on again. I PMed DougJustDoug, and waited a week and nothing happened(still banned+ no reply) . Can someone tell me who to ask?

Why would you ban yourself, like more people said, that is almost impossible to be an accident. I think that you have to change your IP-adres, not sure because I didn't got banned yet:pimp:

One way (that I use on some pokemon of mine) Is using the move modifier with an action replay. Google it if you have one.

Another way is just to trade it from someone from platinum, or ask someone who has it too teach your scizor bullet punch and/or superpower.
 
Scizor Iv's

I've been breeding Scythers for about a week and finally got one that is amazing but it lacks a good speed IV.

Scyther 2/31/31/31/31/17 with an Adamant nature

So should I rebreed for a better Scizor with better speed or use him?

Dude, why would you do it for THAT long? If you have dial up or dynamic IP, make a new account and talk to the mods on the server. Otherwise, I would message Doug again or maybe a moderator to see if they can help (I'm not sure if they have access to who banned who, but if they do they can see you banned yourself and most likely undo it). Doug is a busy guy and has his hands full running the server altogether, so it doesn't surprise me that he neglected or didn't recieve your message.
 
Whats the fastest way to get Battle Points? I just got 3 for beating 7 trainers and that took like an hour. I'll need like 105BP just to get the EV items!

you only need 96 in total... and in your third go through you'll battle Palmer, if you beat him you get 20 BP, if you give up after beating him in your fourth go through, you can go through another three times to battle him again for another 20
 
Does anyone know where I can find some newer rotom form/skymin analysis's?

My reasoning is I really dont feel like sifting through loads of platinum crap just to find them, plus this is what this thread was for anyway.

This isn't Smogon's fucking search engine. How hard is it to go through a few pages in C&C to find what you want? It takes like 5 minutes.
