i think not.

Can shaymins that are not events (the ones in D/P) transform into skymin?
I heard that they can :S

I think they dont, Theres a difference between an Ingame Platinum shaymin and a D/P shaymin..

But Im pretty sure that those ar'ed event movie shaymins can transform into skymin..

About shaymin, I believe ANY shaymin can transform into Skymin (At least the one given away on wifi can), but only movie shaymin will let you get Glacida Flower

One of my friends recently informed me that the STAB boost on moves for pokemon of a dual type was in fact 75% of the STAB boost for pokemon of a single type (i.e. 1 1/8 rather than 1 1/2). Is that true?

Well except Skymin neither overcentralized, destabilized the metagame, or lacked "true counters".

The reason why they are uber is because people wanted them to be. This isn't a cynical view, that's the direct reason.

What happens if you trade a Rotom-H back to Diamond/Pearl?

If it works anything like 3rd gen and Deoxys, the form will revert back. Of course, it may not let you trade it period.

anyone havean Overheat TM they can spare?

i don't know what the fuck happened to mine, and i need my shiny Camerupt to pack some power. :pirate:

You are on the wrong board, let alone the wrong thread. This thread is to have questions answered, not request trades.

Ok, I gave my Ruby version to my ex, so now I've no way to obtain Latios.

So my question; are Lati@s present at all in Emerald?

The Lati twins are indeed in Emerald, except this time you get to choose which of the two you want to catch after you beat the Elite Four. You will watch the news broadcast and get questioned about what color it was. If you answer blue Latios roams Sinnoh, while if you answer Red Latias does likewise. Note that the twin you didn't choose will reside at an island only accessible with a special promotion item, the Eon ticket (which is accessible via the eReader).

If Rotom-H with Overheat is traded back to Diamond, will it keep Overheat as a regular Rotom?

I've heard from several people that it does keep the move, but I cannot verify this myself (seeing as I don't have a copy of Platinum). SLASH THIS

EDIT: I'm a gullible idiot, just checked on Serebii that upon switching between the forms, Rotom will forget any of the special attacks it might have had and learn the corresponding new one. Also upon switching into the original weaker form (which IS necessary to trade back to D/P) Rotom will forget automatically any of the special moves.

Take it as you will.

well hypothetically trade to pt, learn move, trade back, trade to pt, learn exclusive move, trade back, trade to pt, learn other exclusive move, etc?

essentially it would mean that forme is indepentant of movepool and that rotom , rotom-h, s, c, w, b could have any permutation of all 5 exclusive moves.

I'm EV training a Teddiursa, and I want it to have Guts when it evolves. I heard there's a 50/50 chance that it gets one ability or the other, and that if it gets the ability you don't want, you can soft reset and possibly get the other. Is this true?

I realize that this isnt quite so important since it'll be UU again once UU and BL are merged, but why was Zangoose banned from UU to begin with? It doesn't look too powerful to me, certainly not more powerful than, say, Hitmontop or Absol.
