Intro:
So, probably most of you don't know me, but I used to shoddy alot.
I left but now I'm back, but I've lost all my teams. So, I did some research and updated myself on all the new platinum additions.
I started off using my favourites from before the platinum changes arrived, but soon learned that they did nothing against the paths of destruction new threats such as BP scizor left behind. I have created the following team and it works surprisingly well, I have tested it only a few times on ladder matches and have won all but 1, so far. I need your help to keep my success going.

The team at a glance (2nd version):
NOTE: ALL THINGS CHANGED/UNSURE WILL BE IN BOLD.
The team at a depth:
Bronzong @ Macho Brace
Nature: Sassy
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/86 ATK/80 DEF/92 SP.DEF
- Stealth Rock
- Trick
- Gyro Ball
- Explosion
My SR lead. Regular EV spread for that extra punch in those attacks, should I ever be taunted. I ran Macho Brace and Trick so that I could potentially cripple an opponents speed. Not much to say, thanks for the suggestions guys.
Machamp @ Leftovers
Nature: Impish
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 188 HP/96 ATK/216 DEF/8 SPD
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Dynamic Punch
- Stone Edge
I have replaced my Subpuncing loom with a very sturdy, bulky, rest-talking machamp. EV spread to maximize leftovers, and to make it bulky. Now works as a very good sleep-talker. Thanks for the help guys.
Swampert @ Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/216 DEF/52 SP.ATK
- Roar
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Surf
Ah, Swampert, a great asset to any team. I have replaced this guy over Azumarill for help against Zapdos. Standard EV spread, and Roar to phaze away stuff that try to set-up (or have already done so). Thanks for the help on this guy.
Salamence @ Life Orb
Nature: Naive
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP/252 SPD/252 SP.ATK
- Earthquake
- Flamethrower
- Draco Meteor
- Outrage
Mixmence is very good he has won me many battles so far and so many peopel these days expect a DD Mence well surprise! I chose Flamethrower over Fire Blast because he really can't afford a miss. I have decided to run max speed and max special attack, to make sure I outrun offensive Zapdos, and to just make Draco Meteor a freaking godsend (even though it already is).
Gengar @ Choice Scarf
Nature: Timid
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 SP.ATK/252 SPD
- Shadowball
- Focus Blast
- Energyball
- Trick
Scarfgar has been extremely useful to me, because when he is equipped with a scarf he is able to outspeed many of his threats, which he can OHKO first most of the time, after SR damage. If something comes up that I haven't anticipated, then trick is there to just cripple a wall or an attacker who isnt choiced itself. That way I can switch to an appropriate counter. I have decided to keep Energyball, because now I don't have Breloom and his Seed Bomb. Switched the nature to Timid to make sure I outran +1 Gyara/Mence, and so that when I trick away my scarf, Gengar will still have max speed.
Scizor @ Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252HP/76 ATK/4 SPD/176 SP.DEF
- Swords Dance
- Bullet Punch
- Brick Break
- Roost
Everyone has this guy I just gotta put him on my team. With some suggestions and some very persuasive and wise words I have decided to make my Scizor very bulky. Brick Break because I don't want to lose Scizors bulkyness to Superpower and its -1 ATK/DEF, and Roost to expand it's lifespan. Thanks for the help on this guy!
Threats:
Zapdos gives me a little trouble, but with Swampert added in I'm sure he will do alot better.
Thanks for your help it's greatly appreciated!
