I present to you my CAP idea. All of these horn-things are swords btw, I just need to color it tomorrow. (and those panels are little shields)

My thinking is trying to use real life "scouts" as an inspiration, and in the past scouts would be on horseback, so I'm thinking of a skeletal horse design.
I was thinking, maybe modify the horse into a centaur and take a sort of "headless horseman" approach?New version of the ghost horse.

Too much detail, also you have a right hand on his left arm.Criticism is welcome!
Well, heres my project, nicknamed PokeMace. So far, I've gone from a vaguely knightesque thing, to a more solid design, to this. I've changed to colors to be more grey than grey-blue, and made one hand into a mace and chain. I've tried to make the sort of ghostly tendrils into more of a hair like thing, and made them red, to give sort of a roman look to the design. Im planning on giving it a cooler pose and maybe a cape for my final concept.

Pokemon are generally very simple shapes without a lot of features (like all the dings in the metal, the smaller screws, the mask vents), this is because it doesn't show up well in the sprites.
Also, you shouldn't shade the red ethereal part, you shaded it like a solid object so it looks like cloth or something.
I hate how all of this steel/ghost stuff has restricted us to knights and cyborgs.

Yeah. I used it.
man, this is SO good, but it doesn't look very "scoutish"OK, here's my submission:

Sorry if there's any technical difficulties, I suck with computer stuff.
Anyway, my design is based off a marionette puppet. It's joints are not attached but still there, giving it the "held on by spiritual power" look. The joints are based off Bionicles pieces, which snaps right on. My vision of it using scouting moves is something like disconnecting itself, each piece still in perfect control, then do the scouting.
I was thinking about adding a control bar or strings, but it looks ok without them. Some opinions?
I'm open to all suggestions! Thanks.
