Breloom is currently 47, Sharpedo is 55. Starmie and Lanturn are yet to be caught. And then I have a level 46 Swellow and level 46 Solrock, but they have been abandoned. :(

I still have the Shaymin wondercard on my Pearl, and my sister has an extra DS. Can I locally send another Wondercard to my Diamond, use it up, send it over again, and effectively get infinite Shaymin wondercards?

no, you can only use one card from an event.

even if it's a different card, if you're already received the event, it will do no good.

Should be an easy one for u guys, I'm currently breedin for a CB Scizor and was wondering how does *Pursuit + 'Technician' work together on a switch?

The 'Technician' description page says...

If a move has variable base power and would have 60 base power or less when used (Avalanche, Hidden Power, Natural Gift, Payback, Pursuit, and Revenge), it is also boosted by 50%.
so does that mean the numbers would be....

40 + 20 <Tech> = 60 + 60 <Switch> = 120 Base Power

~ or ~

40 + 40 <Switch> = 80 + 20 <Tech> = 100 Base Power

The switch would make the base power 80, so Technician won't kick in.

No, Technitian does not boost Pursuit if you switch, because the double in power is applied before the Technitian boost. For example

Switch - 40 * 2(Switching Boost) * 1.5 (Choice Band) = 120

No Switch - 40 * 1.5(Technitian Boost) * 1.5 (Choice Band) = 90

EDIT: Oops, MegaMewtwo beat me to it.

yes, but only if the other DS/game has not received the event before.
Actually, I don't know of any event that gave out Wonder Cards that you can give to others. As far as I know, only badly hacked Wonder Cards can do that.

Then again, all I have to go by with this is a Manaphy and a Darkrai. Australia gets like no events.

The Secret Key Wi-Fi event in Japan, for Platinum?

well granted i've never tried it, but when you got to receive the WC in the first place, the option for "wireless" is there. i always assumed that meant a local transfer was possible.

If I import a Scyther from Emerald to Diamond with the Swarm ability, is there a chance that it'll change to Technician once it evolves, or am I forever doomed with Swarm? (If so, what're the odds?) Thanks in advance.

You have a 50% chance that it evolves into a technician scizor.

This is a bit odd as I have imported the same Scyther (cloned in E), evolved them all in Diamond, and literally eighteen of them had Swarm. Would it be possible that the 50% chance of trait be determined by the Scyther's DV's, or is it another source that determines it? I would be astonished if all three waves of imports had been given Swarm by chance.. Once again, thanks in advance.

Edit: Does this 50% chance of trait change effect Machamp as well as other Pkmn, even though the same ability they had in FR/LG/E exists in D/P/Pt? Thanks.

If it has an ability before it evolves that exists in d/p I don't think it will change when it evolves

The chance of breaking out of freeze doesn't increase with each turn.

Which ability the evolved Pokemon will get is determined by the Pokemon's PID, i.e. when the Pokemon is generated.

You see, when the Pokemon is generated, it gets assigned to one of two ability slots. This assigned slot never changes. Many Pokemon have the same ability in both slots so you can't tell the difference. If their evolutions have different abilities, however, then you won't know which ability the evolution will have until you actually evolve the Pokemon.

Simply put, if your imported Swarm Scyther evolves into Swarm Scizor, it will always evolve into Swarm Scizor and you'll need to import a different Scyther.

EDIT: And yes, the same would apply for the likes of Machamp. If you catch a Guts Machop in Emerald and evolve it in Diamond, then it's possible for the Machoke to get No Guard.

If you mean the 'Get from friend' option (or something like that), it's used for transferring Ranger 2 Riolu and Darkrai.

EDIT: Which Emerald-breedable Pokémon use HP Grass?

Is there any item in Emerald (Hold item) that will negate stat drops. Like, when Intimidate lowers my attack on stage, is there an item that will make it back to normal?

And, if there is, where can I get it?
