Isn't Sleep Clause active?

If you use Dark Void in a double battle in netbattle DP /w the Sleep Clause on, there is an 80% chance the fastest pokemon is put to sleep, then if the fastest one doesn't fall asleep there is an 80% chance the 2nd one will be put to sleep.
Also if another pokemon that isn't in play is asleep (not through rest). Dark Void will always miss.

Folks, I really need help with Weavile! Ice Shard, Ice Punch or both? Should I drop Pursuit?

Weavile works best a revenge killer, so he comes in when one of your guys is dead and kills w.e killed it. Thats why you have pursuit to kill what is trying to switch out because he's knows youre faster or stronger or both.

Weavile isnt really ment to take a hit either (and doesn't like SR), so I'd have him run either; choice band (to do more dmg), choice scarf (to make him faster than anything w.o priority) or focus sash (to deal ideally 2 hits before dying).

So when it comes to moves, you should find what you want him to do in the game (sweeper, or revenge killer etc) then base the move set around that. But IMO I wouldn't lose pursuit.

I needed something that could switch into a water attack, and dish damage back. I also needed wish support, so Vaporeon took the cake. Problem is, he's also my phazer, and I have no room for any more moves. Currently, I'm running:
Vaporeon (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 188 HP / 252 Def / 68 Spd
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Ice Beam/HP Grass
- Roar
- Surf/HP Grass
- Wish

Now, I need to know which move I need. My team is Aerodactyl, Lucario, Zapdos, Bronzong, Heatran, and Vaporeon. Lucario can OHKO most Salamence (Bulkymence needs Stealth Rock Support) but I need something to fall back on, and I need to fall back on. Vaporeon OHKOS all Salmences with Stealth Rock support as well. But plan is to start semi sweep with Heatran, Switch to Bronzong, Zapdos, or Vaporeon for the expected Earthquake/Surf/Waterfall or whatever, and dish damge back. Vappy could probably live without STABBed surf, because Heatran covers all the water does.

Sorry if this is too long.

Shoddy battle is not working for my computer. Not only that, but its forum site is also malfunctioning. I asked something similar, but my position has gotten worse since then. Originally, the login page for Shoddy would be ineffective; not allowing me to log in. To fix this problem I tried re-downloading it, restarting my computer, updating my Java, and using a system restore. All separate trials, none of which worked. Now, however, my computer will not let me open the file at all after downloading. None of these problems occurred on the day of my initial install (three days ago), nor did any problems occur yesterday. Two days ago and today were the times that Shoddy did not work, out of no where it stopped working, then the next day it randomly began to work again, and now it's even worse than before. I have not downloaded any new software other than the Java, which I downloaded after the problems began in the first place.

Has anyone had a similar problem? Does anyone know how to make this work on my computer?

Use the Advanced button.

As for why it won't pop up, I have no idea. All I can suggest is that you make sure to uninstall it completely before redownloading.

That is what I was doing, I went there for the log in page, and it wouldn't let me log in. The log in button seemed as if it wasn't even there.

How can I be sure of that?

I need some help regarding the Rotom appliances.

If you have Rotom posses one of the items and learn a new move can you trade him to Diamond/Pearl? Will he retain his altered stats and his special move?

I don't think so. I don't think they're even programmed into the game, or someone would have found them before their release.

Yes, you can trade Rotom over to Diamond/Pearl, but it will revert into its normal form, loosing its special move and regaining its original form's stats.

Not sure if this is the right place.. but how do i soft reset in pokemon colosseum? like if i was wanting to get an entei, i wouldnt be able to see its nature until i get its shadow gauge thing down to a specific amount.

@Mrobinson: I really don't think the thread should be posted in anymore. However, I don't really know what the standards are on the matter. You can always PM Tangerine if you want a sure answer.

@GreenApple: Better here than making your own topic. There is no soft reset for Colosseum. You're going to have to hard reset.

What would you recommend to get Pokemon with great IVs more efficiently:

1. Capturing Tons of Pokemon, check their IVs then breed the ones with great IVs.

2. Capture some Pokemon, breed them, check the IVs of their offspring then breed the ones with great IVs.

Thanks for the help guys! :D

First of all capture\trade for some good dittos, then breed them with the species you're going for until you get good IV'ed parents, then breed the parents until you get the desired offspring.

So it doesn't matter if the Pokemon I breed with ditto have poor IVs as long as the ditto I use have great IVs?

Of course, if you breed ditto with a good IVs pokemon, then you'll have more chances to obtain good IV'ed parents. But having a ditto with at least 2 flawless IV is a good starting point. Anyway, Smogon has a great breeding guide, I suggest you to read it attentively, it's absolutely complete.
