Trace Ability

i have a few questions regarding the way the ability trace works:

1. immunity
provided that the opponent has layed toxic spikes, and you switched gardevoir against their zangoose, what will happen?:
a. gardevoir will trace immunity and thus will be immune to the toxic spikes?
b. it will be poisoned by the spikes BEFORE immunity is traced and so it will take damage from poison
c. it will be poisoned by the spikes BEFORE immunity is traced but after the tracing the poison damage will be negated
d. none of the above

2. natural cure
you switched your porygon2 into a a roserade's toxic/stun spore/grass whistle, and got status.. porygon2 was able to trace natural cure.. what happens when you switch out
a. traced natural cure will heal its status
b. trace will be reset once you switch out, so natural cure will be gone, and the status will remain
c. none of the above

3. wonder guard
your porygon2 was able to trace wonder guard from your opponent's shedinja
a. it will only be hit by super-effective fighting attacks (sweet!!)
b. it doesn't work that way (much in the same way that you can't skill swap wonder guard
c. shoddy battle hasn't programmed this particular scenario
d. none of the above

please help me out and try to answer these questions (and forgive me if some of them are pretty obvious noobish and idiotic)

also if you could find other traceable abilities that you also find doubtful on how it works, please post them in this thread

(p.s i am not sure if this is the right forum for this, so if i am mistaken please tell me where i should put this up)

He will only be hit by fighting attacks and fire fang (a bug in the games that shoddy replicates).

Is Dewgong thogether with Walrein in Hail good, or Dewgong is better in Rain? Dewgong learns Ice Beam naturally while Walrein learns Blizzard, which means something...

The main reason that Walrein is good in Hail is because of his ability, Ice Body, which allows him to recover health in Hail. Dewgong lacks that ability, so it's not going to be as effective. In all honesty, there are better candidates for a hail team than Dewgong.

So Dewgong is better with Rain and Hydration?
I really love those aquetic mammals-based Pokemon, Walrein and Dewgong included, so this is a sensitive issue, you know...

Trace activates before the pokemon "hits" the field. So Immunity would be its ability before toxic spikes poison him. Same with levitate, or um... magic guard (except w magic guard, he would get poisoned, but take no dmg)

Also, what Jynx set is better for Hail: Scarf, Specs or Calm Mind? A Choice-locked Psychic is like "hi Weavile, why not come to visit?", so I actually preffer CM/Sub/Blizzard/Focus Blast...Focus Blast? Oh wait, It needs to not to become a Heatran/Tyranitay/Weavile bait...

can i reset the DS clock to get the SPA treatment for getting snorlax max happiness?

If you set the clock to 11:59pm and let it roll over on it's own to the next day it should work. You've got to save each time you change the clock though.

Yes, you can. Get the treatment, then save the game. Then set the DS clock to 11.59, restart the game and wait one minute and you'll be able to get the treatment again. Remember that the clock must be set to 11.59, if you just modify the date one day forward, then the trick will not work. Hope this helped.

is there a fasrter way to getting a lv.50 snorlax max happy without gaining a level?

i have no ev reduce berry's left.

I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place! What would you suggest is the best EV spread for a Perish Trapper Mismagius?
- 252 HP / 148 Def / 110 SpDef
- 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 SpDef

Wouldn't mind reasoning behind it as well!

You can always equip it with the soothe bell and start using the bike, but I don't know if it's a faster way. So, probably no, if you don't want to level up (I can understand why), abusing the clock glitch is the best way to raise your snorlax's happiness.

Edit: if you haven't ev trained your snorlax yet, then you can use the vitamins to give it the first 100 evs in every stat, they also increase happiness.
