Which, specifically, refers to things such as Solarbeam, Dig, Dive, Fly, Bounce, Sky Attack, Razor Wind, and Skull Bash. Did I miss any? I had some trouble remembering those last three. They're kind of uncommon, haha.
You missed Shadow Force. Not that Power Herb Shadow Force is a good idea.

You could always check Smogon's page. But yes, you got them all.

EDIT @MegaMewtwo: Smogon's page does not state it prevents it. Might be a good idea to research that so we can fix the page if it's mistaken.

I'm not sure if this goes in here or the discus my pokemon thread, but here goes.
Is a mild nature usable on a latias?

While it's definitely not preferred, it is usable for the most part.

Thanks!

Thanks! That was helpful! Also...

I went to the move tutor in the house on 228. I brought my L36 Typhlosion. He's first in the party and shows 2 big hearts on the poketch app. I've been walking around with him since he was L1.

The move tutor just talks about the meaning of the word "universe"? He isn't teaching Typhlosion Blast Burn.

Am I missing something? What's up? Can/Should Typhlosions happiness be higher?

Thanks Again!

To be honest, I assumed that since it's like Fly, Dig etc. that it would be the case for SF as well. Testing now.

EDIT: Giratina vanished instantly!
Giratina became fully charged due to its Power Herb!
Giratina used Shadow Force!

Alrighty. Still thinking through my Electric monotype team. Being the quirky guy I am, I was looking at Luxray. I promptly noticed that Superpower was listed on Serebii, but not on Smogon. After lurking around some more, I discovered that the learnsets were under construction, and Superpower has been tested on Luxray at least once. Anyhow, here is my question; On a physical set, where would it best fit? Getting rid of STAB would be foolish, and between Crunch and Superpower I think there maybe only one or two pokemon who resist the coverage. However, Return is the most reliable move, so I was thinking because I have a couple of other Pokes with Ice moves, I could run Spark, Crunch, Return, and Superpower. Are there any major problems with that set?
Just reposting this because it was a page or two back. Of course, it's not that important, I just feel the need to double check myself.

What do you mean by problems? If you're referring to anything walling it to smithereens, no, I don't think so, since the Dark Crunch and Fighting Superpower are unresisted. At first glance, though, it seems like just a hodgepodge. It also depends on how you want to use that Luxray. Is it going to sweep? Tear holes? Depending on what it does, you either choose super-effective type coverage or strong, wide type hitting moves.

Obviously, referring to a mono-team, it should work if, like you said, it isn't running the joint by itself; you have other teammates to back it up.

As seen with Electivire, it might be better to use Thunderbolt and have a physically based mix (though he's better specially based, he's a good example for electric). Other than that, it looks fine.

If I try that, what should be the EVs if Thunderbolt is the only special move?

I'd also like to point out that of the team that I've pretty much determined to be "in" at this point, the vast majority are special attack focused, so I'd just like to add that thought to the consideration. I think it's been like 2-3 Thunderbolts (counting this Luxray), and 2 Discharges.

That's quite unnecessary then. The Thunderbolt-Electivire case is actually mainly talking about Skarmory, and maybe random things like, oh I don't know, Weezing?

If I remember correctly, the highest happiness indicated by the app is 2 hearts that enlarge if you hold them enough.

Just wondering, what makes Rash the more preferred/reccommended nature than Mild for the MixNite set?

I managed to SR for a nice TRU Dragonite, and I was thinking about using that set on him...that's why I'm asking.

The two are interchangeable really, but Rash is probably preferred to take Bullet Punch and Ice Shard better. A lot of his resistances are also specially based, so giving up some of the special bulk isn't much of a burden.

I believe that with a Mild nature, 'Nite is OHKOed by Bullet Punch after SR, but with Rash, it survives and OHKOes with Flamethrower.

If two identical, itemless Ambipom both lead with Fake Out, how is the first move determined?

If both Ambipom have the same speed investment, it is a speed tie; basically, in the result of a speed tie, it really is a coin flip as to whose Fake Out will perform first.

Is their a way to EV train a level 50 pokemon without it growing to the next level?

Yes. Just EV train such that you get the lowest EXP possible(using an EXP Share helps), and then put it in the box. When you take it out, it will be EV trained.
