CAP 8 CAP 8 - Art Submissions

Alright, KoA! Looks very good. Definitely tied with Cartoons!' now in my book, it's a tough call since they're both so good.
That looks pretty good right there. I like the whole dinosaurian appeal to it (note anything that looks dinosaurian is an automatic win in my book). To be honest it reminds me of a electric Pachyosaurus, which isn't bad as I can image it headbutting things to death. Two thumbs up there.
is shading tiem. maybe.
Dunno if my shading style really suits what's expected of a good design on CAP. X); I might have to try some cel-shading, though it's not my forté. Anyways. This isn't quite done, of course, but it's what I've got so far. Still fiddling with the design; bulked up the wing to make it look like it could function as a shield as per the defensive bent. (And hey, is that glowy effect I put around the wing illegal as per the rule against move effects and so forth? Please advise!) Also fussed with the markings AGAIN, though I'm sure the design is still far too complex to win (particularly with the offerings I've seen so far, particularly Cartoons!). Grah.

Very loosely based on http://www.phuketvegetarian.com/borad/data/2/pic/98-624-3.jpg Also a bit on the Thunder Bird animal. I went with a more avian take on it..mostly because I had Altaria on the head. And wire tails like Electivire
Im not sure which design to go with of the three..Im liking them all.
Im having trouble with the feet of these two, any suggestions?
I'm way behind in this thread, but of the ones on this page, KoA's is the best, easily. Also great are Keishinkae's and Mutant's.
Oh hey, look! A colored version of the Resistor Pokemon! (My wacom bamboo just arrived in the mail this afternoon, so rejoice!)
I'm not entirely sure why I made him purple, but I think it works well with the yellow accents. I didn't want another predominantly yellow electric type, and dark blue had already been used by Garchomp and Luxray... so I just tried out purple and it turned out looking pretty nice.
In case you haven't read my spiel already, he's based on resistors. Ohms symbols, resistor markings on his limbs and tails, and different colored bands on his belly to indicate his level of resistance. I like to imagine that each one has a different number of bands and different band colors... sort of like Spinda's spots, I guess.

Lol, all I can think of when I look at KoA's is Metal Seadramon. =D

Aw, I was doing somehting that look alot like KoA's however his design is way better <.< All I woudl do is add a Milotic pose, perhaps put the tail in the background. Good luck!

First draft of my design. Colour scheme is still up in the air and general traits may be changed depending on ability and bias later on. The hair down its back is charged with static and forms wings.

It seems a little bit weird for this to be going on even though we haven't picked an ability yet. Just think, if we get an ability like Rough Skin or Thick Fat, most of these concepts will become unusable. I'm waiting until we get an ability to post a concept, but that's just my take on the situation.
Sharpedo appears to be very slick, and he is the game's only rough skin user.
Thick Fat will need to pull a serious upset to win with the current reasoning I've been seeing.
Looks can be misleading, especially when the sprites don't have that kind of detail represented anyways.

Just giving resistormon some love here. I really like the concept a lot and it looks really nice. It'd be kinda cool to give it some way to make a "switch" pattern (on his tail maybe) and make the markings a circuit to power it up, though that isn't really necessary, just a thought.
