The info you edited in is irrelevant for getting IVs. Just put the pokemon in and make an egg, and save before you get it. The order doesn't matter, it should be shiny.

lol good job. Did you go for good IVs?

I told you I was going to test catching a pokemon then battling uxie, it's not consistent enough, but there probably could be a way to do it.


Giritina-man: Technically if you learn the IV abuse part, you can do it that way. But please don't ask help for it, as there are several guides and 100 posts that answer questions about it.
 
When you use the Iv Breeding Abuse when do you put in the time? After you hit continue like in the shiny section or later? This is the only part Im confused about.
 
well, first try i got a shiny miltank. i was just trying it out so the nature is jolly because it only required 110 taps
The only problem is that i cannot check the ivs of the miltank without saving because i dont have an AR
 
yeah... but then i saved after because i had no way of checking the ivs.
plus this was just like a practice round.
im going to stock up on rare candies and actually do it good in a few days (:
 
IVs will be the same no matter how many times you hatch it. They are set when you pick it up from the daycare man.

Edit: Sorry, read your post incorrectly. Get someone to trade you 20 or so rare candies, its really the only way to do it without having to save again (Like IV battle).
 
there is no discussion about this. he's already saved after picking up the egg, but for next time, there are ways to tell an egg's IVs without saving or without rare candies. noone's confused about what you pointed out.



and shinyrattata, you should battle high-level pokemon and keep track of the EVs. use metalkid's IV calculator and track the stats and EVs for each level.
 
i know i know, but if you save before you take it, then you can check it with rare candies or AR and if you dont like the ivs, reset the game and go for better ones.

My first RNG abuse. And, I don't know if anyone else has tried this, but, I was able to use the Daycare Man's Buneary to control my offset. I tested this for a while, and, I was able to know from it's starting point, what my offset would be. Maybe this could help people who's offset changes after they save to get the offset they want (Mine was 7, then when I saved to remove the journal, it was 4)

All I did was wait for buneary to move a few steps before hitting A, and I was able to consistantly control the offset of the egg.

Yeah I've been trying to do that to, I know if I miss my offset when the ear goes past a certain point on the fence when picking up my egg, and if it is in the same spot (say something like the third fencepost) I know I have my offset. I don't know how helpful that could be though.

It helped me a ton since my offset changed to a lower number. Might not help if my offset went up.
 
I'm trying to find my offset, did I do this correctly?
Open up Seed finder (misdreavus).
Enter everything (I think the frames spent on continue are zero as I pressed it immediately)
Got a seed, entered it in the Timi Finder, but got zero as delay, what am I doing wrong? Or can I assume my delay is even now?

EDIT: Smothing strange in my Time Finder:
Seed - offset --- PID
blabla -- 2 ------ bleble
blabla -- 4 ------ bleble

other stuff is all the same. Does this mean I've got the same spread on two offsets?

I don't know what Misdreavus' program does, but, I was able to do everything on Mingot's RNG Reporter.

Did you calibrate and find your Seconds, Delay Range, and most commong Offset (Of the egg, not the wild pokemon)

So, example, my most common spread is 619 delay, 16 seconds, and 7 Offset, so, I threw into the time finder Seconds as 16, Offset of 7, Delay Range 615 - 625. From there I narrowed my search to only include 31 IVs.
 
This is for Resetting legends, not eggs. Don't understand a crap of eggs (yet).
I'm trying to get an ok HP Ice Heatran, but I'm getting weird shit thrown at me. Like those double offsets on one spread.

EDIT: Heatran is standard on offset two with me btw o.o Or at least at my spreads.

Oh, that I don't know about.

I do have a question though. Do most people's RNG abused eggs have weird recieve dates. Mine is egg recieved June 30, 2009, hatched May 5th, 2009. >.>

Yea, I did. Just wondering if everyone's eggs look like that, or do they try to get a spread in the same day. I'm just not sure if being born AFTER it was hatched would be looked down upon in trading. I haven't saved, so I can turn the clock ahead to hatch it on the same day it was born.
