This is more appropriate for the SQSA thread in Stark Mountain, but I'll answer it anyway.

You can use BL Pokemon in OU (which is the same as Standard) and Uber. That specific Froslass analysis needs to be updated, as Froslass used to be UU (thus making it usable in UU, OU, and Uber).
 
Today on the UU ladder I battled against a Marowak. My Hariyama used Knock Off and the Marowak continued to do the same amount of damage without its Thick Club. Is there some sort of glitch involving the Thick Club item?
 
But then I have to restart the whole server building process...

Ah well, it won't take as long knowing how to do it now, will it?
 
File > Open Team for me does not open my team, and neither does the edit team function from the main menu. It worked a few days ago, and does not work now. What's wrong with my computer?

I've tried reinstalling Shoddy and reinstalling/updating Java, and neither have fixed the problem. If it's relevant, there is also only one server shown on the server list (Smogon University), and it's always at 150/100 people. I can always log into it, though. However, after the server list is refreshed, no servers appear.

Did you try the New Team option instead?

Also the only other way to connect to another server that I know of is by the advance connect option that is over the refresh option. Maybe you can try using a different windows account and see if it solves the problem...other than that I have no other advice =/
 
Why doesn't Choice Scarfed Assist work like it does in game? In game, it uses Assist and then picks the second move, but on Shoddy, it fails after the first use.
 
I tried countless times, it wont work on any server. I uninstalled Shoddy and reinstalled it and it doesnt add it to my start menu. I have to manually open the JNLP file, which I dont remember happening when it worked months ago.
 
I don't know why, but on my father's computer, I can run Shoddy battle but will immediately get a BSOD should I try to either find a battle or watch one. I don't know exactly what the problem is since the computer is more or less up to date (I don't have specific specs or anything with me at the moment); would the problem be that I'm trying to use Shoddy on an account other than the administrator account? Has anyone else had this sort of problem?
 
help. I cannot get onto shoddybattle.com. it redirects me to google. I've tried messing with all my site filters and other internet option and using different browsers. I'm desperate. Any suggestions?

Odd it works fine for me, but if you didn't know Shoddy battle is now affiliated with Smogon. So that may be the cause of your problem. Also what do you need from Shoddy Battle?
 
Well I have a feeling that not being able to get to shoddybattle.com is why it is unable to launch application. It works perfectly fine on different computers. i have cleared my java cache, tried reinstalling from cnet, re reinstalled shoddy, and it still doesnt work. Anymore suggestions
 
@flipperrr: Have you tried restarting your router (to clear the DNS cache), that normally fixes this sort of problem.

You don't have to pay anything unless you're getting someone to host it for you. Afaik, the only requirement is that you have a computer capable of running it.
