^^^^ Ice Punches coverage isn't worth it tbh... Thunderpunch is the better option for Gyarados / Skarm / Waters, etc. to at least "hurt" them. Ice Punch is only good for Gliscor.. as Salamence / Flygon don't appreciate Meteor Mash anyway..

Removed the "Trapper" set. I'll look at doing a Uber Metagross at some point in the near future.

I actually have been using a "trapper" set VERY extensively in Ubers, Suspect, and OU... its more of a "tank" than trapper, but it is extremely effective and I think it deserves another look.

Been working like a charm. Meteor Mash outright OHKOs Gengar, and Pursuit always OHKOs a switching Gengar... Though if that Gengar stays in Pursuit + Bullet Punch combines for a minimum of 91% meaning you win with Stealth Rock. Works excellent for Lati@s on Suspect, but I use this exact same Meta in Ubers too. Why? Meteor Mash + Bullet Punch 2HKOs Latios, and Latias needs SR to have a shot at 2HKOing with Thunder. Not only that, we all know Meta is a good Dragon resist for the tier. Many things in both tiers will fall to Meteor Mash + BP

Thing is Meteor Mash doesn't OHKO both of them. It's not hard to identify a scarfgross and it wouldn't be too hard to imagine that they'd risk keeping in a dragon to KO Metagross. Plus, Meteor Mash misses.

I think I'm right in thinking the argument is that ice punch adds little extra coverage against those who try to counter Metagross. Whereas ThunderPunch does. I still think from a team perspective if scarfgross is the designated Gliscor/Dragon Counter, it should be able to fulfil that role with Explosion as well.
