I'm sorry to say you've just wasted your time. Frame has a tendency to change with NPC movements. As such, I wouldn't calibrate for frame. Just take your frame and constantly find targets a multiple of 2 ahead of it and advance with journal flips.
I haven't wasted my time Bears. I've saved in front of the daycare man when NO NPCS were on screen - just that buneary that runs back and forth - therefore leaving me with a constant frame for the most part.

Bears was just saying you can't always use 2 for every egg. You just have to find out what frame your egg is at and go for a spread with that frame or a higher frame in multiples of 2. Like if its frame 3, look for frame 5,7,9,.. that gets you a perfect egg.

Sorry to bother you all, but I can't seem to get RNG Reporter to work. I'm trying to breed a shiny egg between international parents, but I haven't been able to get it right thus far. Here are my exact steps:
1. I've saved on Acuity Lakefront in a grass patch with five Pokemon (no eggs) in the party. Sneasel is at front, and my Poketch is set to app 5. Both intended parents are in the PC.
2. I reset. My DS is synced with an external clock, so I record the time the moment I hit continue in military standard. I run around like crazy until I find a Pokemon, catch it, then use Rare Candies and Metalkid's calculator to find its IVs. I plug those into the seed finder. The delay's usually around 600. *
3. I put in my ID, SID, etc. and hit shiny only, with DPPt Egg PID (International) selected, then hit Generate. I select one with 800 or less double clicks.
4. I click forward on the Poketch to get to app 6, then do the double clicks. After that's done, I go forward to get to app 15, do the coin flips, then go forward once to get out of it. I fly to Solaceon, put the parents in the day care (no everstone), wait for an egg to appear, save, then get the egg and hatch it.
I've done this dozens of times and haven't gotten a shiny (or even the nature I selected) yet. At first I thought I'd been getting the double clicks wrong, but there have been a few times when I'd had to do less than a hundred... I'm certain I counted exactly.
Some other information:
I'm using RNG Reporter 5.20 and I only have 7 badges on that game. I use Acuity because it has the highest-leveled wild Pokemon available thus far, but I have enough rare candies to get a Pokemon to level 100 with no problems.

Well not exactly since i already abused a flueless Ditto but i breed my first perfect poke not so long ago.
A perfect adamant technician Scyther.
So now that i have him, i think i may want to clone him since both Scyther and Scisor are usefull and each off them have a few different moveset, if only i had access to wi-fi...anyway, it's not why i post.
I got my delay only 4 or 5 times in about 50 or more tries. Is that normal or should i narrow it down again ?
Columbus Rayburn, i'm new at this whle RNG abuse process but it may be because of the rar candies. The may alter your poke and thus get you the wrong seed. Other than that i can't see an error in what you've done. Are you sure your parents are international ?

I'm sure it's international. I have a Japanese Platinum, and I caught it on there. I'll try to do it without Rare Candies.
On screen or off does not matter.
Is the config file (rngreporter.exe.config) in the same directory as the exe?
More information would be good if this is not your problem.
You sure you have parents of different languages?
You might try no taps/no flips and just getting some eggs and seeing if they match frames 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.

Yep, I'm sure. I own a Japanese game, and I traded a Ditto from it to my English Platinum.
Sorry if I sound stupid, but how would I do that? I'm pretty new to this, and I haven't figured out how to find specific frames yet.
Go out and catch a pokemon to find your seed, then hatch a few eggs and see if they match what you generate with RNG Reporter.

This is the exact error that I get when I delete the config file and attempt to run the program.
I would really try to create a new directory and copy the entire contents of the zip file over into that directory and run it from that directory. Perhaps you copied the file (and not a shortcut) to your desktop?

Ah, thank you! No, they don't match up. Maybe there's something wrong with my SID?
I used an AR to find it. I do own a random shiny from that game, though, so maybe I could use that to calculate it.
This indicates that you are not using international parents and should not be generating for them.
Or you have the wrong seed. but if you are finding seeds with delays in the 600's they are probably correct.
One other thing I noticed is that you are using rare candies. If you can catch level 50ish pokemon you could always use the by stat seed finder to save those.
They don't match at all? Like the first 5 eggs aren't for example Adamant, Modest, Docile, Rash and Relaxed like in the Egg PID generated list? If so then that is a first.
Don't do any taps or flips at all, just hatch some eggs to see.
And it isn't your SID for this particular thing because that only determines which eggs are shiny.
Hmmm it worked...I originally had the RNG folder in the desktop and, it seems that's the only place so far where I get the error, but it seems to work elsewhere. Thanks.
